The only times I shop here are during any sales going on, Mother's Day for example. This was probably the most annoying experience at this location due to an employees dishonesty. A gift was returned and refunded onto gift cards which was then unable to be refunded onto the original form of payment despite the employee stating to my mother that it would not be a problem. Since this is one of my favorite stores to shop in, even though I don't use the products here, it just so happens my love really likes Coach Brand things, I wanted to tell you why I love it so much. They have great looking stuff and everything in the store is 50%-70% off. On some days, like the weekend after Thanksgiving, you can get an additional 30% off, and on some weekends, you can get an additional 10%-20% off. This sometimes gives you a $400 purse for under $100, or a scarf, hat and glove set, that would usually run you $100+ for $30. They have larger purses, if you need to stuff a lot of things in them and carry your entire world in them. They have elegant everyday purses, which are medium size satchels that are either cross body, or just shoulder purses. They have dinner purses, that I believe they call clutches, little tiny ones for some makeup and maybe cash, or credit cards. They even have makeup bags. Now how cool is that? They have matching wallets, matching check book covers, change purses, lipstick holders, credit card holders, and even cell phone holders. They really do have a huge selection of everything that a woman might need. The salespeople that work here are always top notch. They are friendly and they always have a calculator with them to tell you exactly what everything is going to cost, before tax, and they will even give you the tax price if you want to know. They are always willing to get matching accessories, and if you find 3 or 4 purses on the clearance section and they aren't supposed to be there, they will still honor the price, but don't get caught putting them there yourself, they will ask you to leave. (I've seen this before.) If you are a man, like me, and have a little clue of what goes with what, the salespeople here are perfect for you. They will tell you what she might like, if you give them some idea of what you are looking for... If you like Coach Brand accessories, why shop anywhere else? Everything here is brand new. They might not be the latest ones that you find in a large department store, but then again, why spend $1000 on a purse at Macy's when the same one is $150 or less here??? read more

First and foremost there are two types of Coach stores: full price retail stores and Factory Stores (outlets). Check the registration numbers (on the leather patch inside). If it contains the letter F - that item was specifically made for the Factory Stores. It is not a bag being "liquidated" from a regular Coach retail store. Generally a bag that HAS been sent from a full price retail store to a Factory outlet will have a bullseye stamped on the patch to prevent returns at a full price store. Secondly, do not ever purchase anything from the Factory Store without a coupon. They have 20-30% off coupons available year round and a simple google search will lead you straight to them. Most of the time that's not even necessary - they hand them out right at the front door. read more

When I was attending UCSB (1998-2002) my favorite shopping buddy Kimmy and I would take "study breaks" to the Camarillo outlets. Coach was the only place I felt like I was really getting my bang for the buck. I was never into Coach print gear... felt that was always tacky and everyone owned some piece that had "C"s all over it... so not my style... I was always into buying Coach or other brand name things that you couldn't obviously tell that it was a brand name unless you really gave a shit about the brand and knew something about it. My favorite piece I bought from here is a huge black carry-on.... simple black thick cotton with sexy zipper seams. Holds everything you need for a weekend get-away... it's classy and not tacky... and unless you look closely you cannot tell that it is Coach. Love it and it's still looks like new! read more

Unacceptable service. What a manager? I would like to put this complaint again the evening manager on Sunday November 24, 2013. She's so rude and unacceptable who is not supposed to be a manager at all. Don't get me wrong. This place was one of my favorite shopping places since i came to US. The thing was my friend gave me a coach bag and a gift receipt which showed there was an extra 15% off for 1 week and it's end today. So i called to coach customer service and asked if i could use it before i went there. They said it' totally fine. So i went there. However when i wanted to use the 15% off. The manager said i needed to bring my original receipt to show her. What??? I told her that i checked with the coach customer service already and it's fine. She said "no". She said she could not help me. I still felt that i did not get my answer. The worst part was she walked out on me, let me stand there and let another staff deal with me. That was a shame on her. Is this what the manager should behave??? I'm gonna file the complaint for sure. I don't care about 15% extra but she should talk to me nicely. Coach has really stepped up their game in terms of design and quality lately. In a way they had to because their brand was suffering against other cooler and more young brands like Kate Spade and Tory Burch. For a while there everything was logo ridden, ugly, plastic looking, and boring. That's not the case today. They have so many great styles, colors, and designs to choose from and the bags are finely made with soft leather. Their hardware is looking more refined too. Their marketing campaign has really gotten better too, albeit they copied Kate Spade's cute puppy advertisements it seems. The service at this location is top notch. I had 3 people offer to help and they were able to answer all my questions and guide me in the right direction. I was able to use the coupon they mailed me in conjunction with their 50% off sale. I ended up buying a purse for my mom but now I'm thinking about going back for one for myself! read more

I don't like Coach. hahaha. I don't know why... but I don't consider Coach purses to be anything to write home about... but then again, I am a purse snob... so maybe you shouldn't go by what I say... This place is always crowded though... so I must be in the minority. I'm not a fan of having brands written all over anything that I'm going to buy and wear. I want it for the look, leather, feel, etc... not for some lousy quality canvas that has the "coach logo" on it. I don't know... I just don't get the appeal. Do not attempt to get anywhere near this place on Black Friday. The lines are crazy! They wrap around the entire back of the outlet building... and they only let a certain amount of people in at a time so it takes forever. (not that I've ever been to this store for Black Friday... but I've seen what takes place here...) I must admit that I do go in here occasionally (since it's right next to the J Crew outlet) but this place always smells musty or bad... and there's never anything good, in my opinion, anyway. This is a very good Coach Outlet compared to others I've seen across the US. It is spacious with a large variety of its products. It is consistently busy just about any time of day you go - it's a great attraction for tourists. The usual - Coach sells no frills, quality merchandise at a reasonable price. Normally I don't get the whole "Outlet" concept. Everything seems to be exactly the same price as in the regular stores. Today (07/01/12), however, that wasn't the case. As we walked in, a woman handed us a 30% off everything in the store coupon. As we walked around, we saw that most things were 40% off. I asked the coupon woman how that worked. She said, take 40% off the listed price and then another 30% with the coupon! It was then that I noticed many customers were purchasing literally 5 to 10 handbags each. Ended up finding something that was tagged at $500. 40% off brought it to $300, and the coupon brought it to $210! Crazy. read more

This new location is much better and bigger. I can't say that all the deals are that amazing. It's a hit or miss. You have to get lucky. My best advice is to go to the cashier and tell them you want to join their mailing list. After you give them your information, each week they will send you 20% or 30% coupons to your email. If you want a Coach bag or wallet, how could you ever pay full price. The Coach outlet stores have the sickest markdowns in the mall. In the back are clearance items. Usually when you walk in they hand you a coupon for 30-50% off Everything. I was ready to buy the $400 black big tote bag on sale for $200, but when my husb came in the store to check up on me, he told me to just get what I really want, he doesn't care about the price, he just cares about what makes me happy, and besides I was there to get my birthday gift, so I went back and grabbed the purse that I really really want, the limited edition green large peyton bag reg $798 on sale for $275. I also added 3 wristlets reg $48 on sale for $23 each for me and my daughter, and a make-up bag reg $68 on sale for $29 for my mom. Tessie is very helpful and patient, I can't remember how many times I asked for a price check. Clean, organized and well lit store. The bags are in perfect condition, no wonder a lot of people want to shop here. I will definitely drop by here before Christmas to pick-up my gift. read more

I went to six outlet stores before this one and they told me I had to leave because I had my small dog with me. I informed them that they were the first to refuse me and they said its bc they just remodeled and they are afraid the dog would pee on the rug. Are you for real? Coach Outlet? I wasn't impressed. A lot of their items were items I would never buy. The ones that were kinda cute were not worth their price to me, even after the extra 20% coupon they gave out at the door. It was a MESS in there! People EVERYWHERE. Geez. I thought they were giving away stuff for free for the amount of people in there and the amount of women carrying 5+ bags around. Finally, a Coach store where there is plenty of room! They just recently relocated to the old Banana Republic location and the store is so much bigger now, at least it feels that way to me. And they are now in the middle section of the outlet mall that has most of my favs. I swear that it's also the busiest sections as well. the deals that they have in this store is amazing. Granted there are plenty things in this Coach store that you will NEVER see in a department store or even in their own brand store, since it's Coach outlet styles. But, you can't tell the difference. It's still genuine Coach merchandise and usually at rock bottom prices. The last time I was there, my friend and I went nuts. Between purses that should be easily $200+ going for $100, wallets for $50 plus an additional savings that day because we were there during some blowout sale, this is always a must stop for me. I can see how people might be turned off to this place. This place is ALWAYS packed with people. And I mean PACKED. That's why I like that they moved to this location, because before - I swear, their AC never worked in their old spot. It's still packed, but there definitely seems to be more wiggle room. The people are always super nice in there, answering the same boring questions from customers about - is this really $149 and 20% off, or is it the $300 that's on the tag? Always check out the "clearance" section in the back. They usually have stuff there that not only came from the outlet store, but there are times where you see stuff that you've seen in a regular store. read more

I just left the coach store. I lost my wallet my and was using husbands credit card. They could not have been less accommodating and ruder. I offered to FaceTime or have any sort of text and photo ID sent. I am driving down and just happen to be in the area. This is a huge inconvenience. I do not see how the manager couldn't have come up with a reasonable way for me to connect with my husband live and to show he gave me permission to buy this wallet. I stopped in this past Saturday to purchase a gift for a family member. The store was very clean and you could tell that the staff did a good job cleaning up each day. I've been to more than a few outlet stores in my day, and some of them look like a bomb went off after a tourist group passes thru. Came to the store today to return My previous purchases. Initially thinking it will be a quick transaction. Felt great since I scored a parking right in front of the store on a Saturday! Little did I know I it was a going to be a transaction from hell. Person helped me seemed so entitled and condescending. He asked the reason for my return told him it was an impulse buy, then he states "are you sure this was an impulse buy... are you sure?" First off you look creepy saying that! We bought a purse for my wife and a bag and wallet for me. Items are high-end and we saved quite a bit on regular retail price. The sales people were really friendly and helpful. My daughter LOVES Coach. She had been on this hunt for one of their handbags for the longest time. Couldn't find it, couldn't afford it, it just didn't happen. She came to visit from NY, where she can pretty much find anything and everything.....but not this handbag. Just for the heck of it, we went to this outlet store, I walked away from her, couldn't believe my eyes.....THERE IT WAS, the very handbag she had been dreaming about, DISCOUNTED, no less, so I snatched it up.......the very last one..... and ran over to her. She just stood there, stunned !!!!!!!! And then she smiled. Yes, she bought it, and she still uses it to this day !! Though I had already printed my 30% off coupon, I was handed one going in. The store was busy, but there was plenty of staff to help. camarillo visit on a friday with my mom & brother.. decided to stop by cuz my mom wanted to browse. lucky for her they were having a big ol 50% off sale on their clearance items plus 30% off on top of that discount. it was pretty busy in the store with people running around snatching up purses by the armful literally! my mom's not so much of a fan of their monogrammed stuff or anything with COACH thrown all over it.. but there was a good amount of choices.. lots of spring items available.. & she managed to find two more classic style leather bags that she liked and got both for about $200.. happy mom is a good thing =) my only thing was they need more associates working if they're having a big sale because the store was pretty messy lookin due to all the coach fanatics messing up displays and the wait to pay was kinda ridiculous.. not to mention the store manager was pretty unprofessional. i wasnt being nosey but he was talking really loud and getting frustrated cuz apparently all the registers were over & under.. i just think he could have handled that differently with his associates especially in front of customers. read more

I LOVE The outlets! Especially Coach! Most of their items are at least 40% off with an additional 20% most times. Sometimes you can get just 1 season old bags and accessories! I purchased the Heritage Khaki/Pink doctor bag and matching cosmetic bag. I got a great deal and both were under $150! The regular doctor bag alone costs $248. Note: Parking is first come first serve in the HUGE parking lot meant for all the stores. Make sure to Keep your receipts as no returns are allowed without them!! Returns must be in NEW condition only. You have the ability to return them at the regular Coach stores if you have your receipt!! Happy Coaching! read more

Obviously I wasn't here to buy a purse for myself, that would be the misses making me spend the hard-earned money on accessory items. But you know what, I can live with it for this store. First, I worked retail for some time, have an eye for fashion and material quality, and I've gotta say, I've yet to have been disappointed in Coach's quality. That doesn't mean they don't have some shoddier items, I'm sure there are, but I find plenty of very very high quality items for not unreasonable costs. Their stitching has been excellent, I'm a strong guy, and most purses I can rip the stitching with a quick half-tug, but can't do that with the purchases we've made from here. Second, they regularly have pretty good sales and/or clearance items, my wife's last purse cost $70, certainly not unreasonable. The wallets are a little overpriced (we still might have considered one with a clasp but it was far too large/bulky), and their shoes are higher than department stores with coupons (Macy's, for example). The service is usually pretty decent as well, but it's a pretty crowded store so its mostly help yourself. They could also stand to update the rear-wall fixtures, they've gotten quite beat up and make the store look cheap. But, like I said, with their various sales/deals, haven't been disappointed so far (of course if it were up to me, I'd rather the funds go to a steak or something, but eh, gotta keep the woman happy). read more

Worst employees, i guess. I love to shop at this store. Unfortunately, was so in a hurry on mother's day, May 12th, sunday. Shopped for my friends for mother's day, and left my sunglasses at the cashier area.. thankful for the person who surrendered/gave my sunglasses to one of the employees there. 2days after the 12th of May, i realized i don't have my sunglasses. So i called first fossil store, since that's the last store i went to but im sure i did not left it there because i did not put my stuffs down and did not buy anything from them. So i realized, to call Coach outlet since it's the store that i went and bought presents. I spoke with an emplyee named "Lorie". She asks what kind of sunglasses i have, and so i was able to described the item, then she confirmed that it was there and that it was surrendered to her/them.. so basically, i assumed that i claimed my item and it is secured in their lost and found box. She asked for my name so that when i go and get the item, she knows it was me who called. Im the only person who knew about the item i left at coach, no body else does. Days went by, i was not able to pick up my item because i was not in camarillo area. A month had past, i called today, June 24 to check on my item and let them know that i will get it tomorrow. I spoke with the same person "Lorie", then put me on hold for 10mins, then went back to me and said that the safe does not have my sunglasses anymore since it's been a month that nobody claimed it. Wow! I knew somebody will have interest on it. Then she said that all items unclaimed for a month will be sent to the lost and found department of the camarillo outlet. Amazing! All i knew is that my item is safe in there. They must have thought that nobody will get it or remember about the item. Where's your employees honesty and integrity..??? Im soooo disappointed!
