I usually go for Black Friday, which is always busy. The staff is friendly and their prices are good. Since it is an outlet store, their selection can be limited at times, but they have a range of prices. I do enjoy their fun lines that have painted things on them. I personally like the quality of Coach compared to some of the other purses I've bought that were sometimes much more. I tend to look for the ones with no lining because lining tends to catch on my nails and rip. read more

Needed to replace my sunglasses so decided to stop at Coach Waikele and am I ever glad I did! COACH outlet store is located mauka part of complex, as you drive up into the parking lot, it's straight ahead, a little to the left near the food truck section. It's a decent sized store with many tourists but the sales agents are very accommodating and make sure you aren't waiting around for help like other stores. Despite the store being busy this past Saturday, I literally had four reps assisting me with finding the right pair of sunglasses. And there were about 4 others that had come up to me asking if I needed help or just to say hello and welcome. It wasn't in a clinging irritating way either. Just being in that beautiful store surrounded by tons of "lovers" (merchandise) . Everything from hats, shoes, jewelry, eyewear, bags, bags and bags in every size, shape, design, color it's just a feast for the eyes looking at them ahhhhh! They had a sale going on for some items - what????- I never knew COACH had sales! Sunglasses retailing there with the already discounted outlet price of $200 was marked down to $89 and quite a wide selection of nice ones too, not just the ones people don't wanna wear. Keana, very sweet and hapai, was my main point of contact who initially helped me find a pair and also one for my daughter's mother-in-law. While she was looking for another one in the back, another sweet rep, Karen, came over to talk story and told me about upcoming sales promotion/event which she put my name on list to be invited to, and Kuhns who kindly went in the back to find another pair of sunglasses for me. I mean, I felt like Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman" with all their kind assistance! Checking out is easy because they have that line of first-come first-served and even apologize if you have to wait even a short time. All in all I left the store feeling completely cared about and very happy with my new purchases and the event to look forward to. We had purchased a bag for my daughter as a birthday gift. It was a last minute decision and the store was closing in 10-15min. We felt so bad, but not one of the workers there that evening were rude or rushed us. Several months later the connecting strap to the bag tore (the thread got loose). I took it in to see if they could repair it since it was still new like. Filled out all the necessary information and they told me when the bag is done they will ship it directly to my house. I've only given 4 stars because of the repair that had to be done so soon. Overall, Coach Waikele has an amazing team (I've seen some of the same workers for years now). Their customer service is excellent and the repair service. We really appreciated the convenience of them shipping the bag directly to our house. For Father's Day, I was on the hunt to replace his Coach fanny pack that recently broke during our last trip. We originally came by around 7:05pm on a weekday to which they close so early..before the sun goes down in the summertime. I wish they would extend their hours for those of us who don't shop during the daytime.. Also, Coach Men's store is located near Tory Burch as it's not the same one as Coach for women's that is located on the corner by Sunglass Hut?. Anywhos, we planned a second visit within business hours.. Not very many ppl were in there so the staff was helpful. 70% off certain bags and backpacks was a deal! He was quite picky as the belt bags were way too large for him. Like, idk what man needs to carry so many things in a belt bag that is the size of my purse.. If the camo belt bag ever comes in a smaller size, then I'd love to pick up that one. Other than that, he settled for a plain black one. Hopefully it lasts as long as his previous one. I am writing this review for Coach Waikele almost immediately after my visit. My experience at this location was exceptional. I was immediately greeted when I entered the store by a sales associate. I was asked if I had anything in particular I was looking for. I responded that I was browsing. I was left to browse without feeling any pressure and I was able to take my time to decide on the item I really wanted. Throughout my visit inside the store, I was greeted by each associate and each of them introduced themself to me. They were all super sweet and it felt like I was shopping with friends. Ultimately Jen was the one who helped me with my purchase. I'm glad I went to this location for my new bag. I indeed up getting the style called Brooklyn. I felt awkward making eye contact with a male employee here and they immediately spoke into a headset. Directly after, an associate peaked their head around the wall I was shopping and started following me around the store. Multiple other employees were obviously tailing me as well. I can tell they assumed I was a shoplifter just because of that one initial interaction, and as someone who works in retail management I am extremely disappointed with their assumption and guest experience provided. I honestly haven't shopped at Coach in years! I remember when I was in high school and college and Coach was the bag to get. These days my taste is a lot more luxe, but I still look back on Coach fondly. There was a recent J Lo collab that hit the outlets, and several luxe groups I'm in had members kept posting about a shearling bag they all found and/or wanted. I wanted to check the hype! I was in Hawaii for 10 days, and on the last day we went back to Samsonite to buy luggage. While my husband was in Samsonite, I called Coach to see if they had the popular J Lo bag--they did! I walked over and was instantly greeted by an associate. She allowed me to browse and was super helpful and not pushy at all. Do NOT shop at Coach!! If you are not 100% happy with your purchase, make sure you return it in 30 days. If not, they will make the "exception" to exchange it, but if there is any price difference YOU WILL PAY...even if you are only exchanging the color. Yes, even though a bag was never used. Even though the style is current and inventory is on the shelves. Even though that same style is being advertised. Even though it's the EXACT SAME STYLE and you want to exchange the color only. You WILL PAY for the "exception". If I was given any reason that made sense other than, "sometimes the black color is more expensive" (I was returning the black and getting a different color) then I would probably not be so annoyed. I purchased a backpack for a graduation gift online at the Coach Outlet website, picked it up at the store, and with the payment options provided, I paid it through my PayPal account. Unfortunately, the gift recipient decided to return the backpack but the refund will only be issued to the original purchaser (according to customer service). My PayPal account has, two months later, no refund from Coach and customer service says it was issued, won't contact PayPal to trace the refund. So now I'm in the red for double the cost because I gave the graduate the refund amount and I've lost the money I spent at Coach. Buyer beware...do not purchase gifts from Coach Outlet because if the item is returned, only Coach benefits. Remember the days when employees would walk around asking you if you need help w calculators in hand to calculate prices? Two employees told me today to scan the front of the store if I wanted to know what a price was but the QR code at the front is now incorrect and doesn't work and takes you to a non working website. A 3rd employee told me To scan the QR code on a sign in back by the clearance section. No one was willing to scan an item for me to find out the price as some displays didn't have any discount sign. I couldn't find tags in some items and asked for a price and an employee told me she didn't know, maybe $35 (?) and walked away. Wow...this place used to have such good customer service that I sometimes wished to not be bothered but now, you can't get anyone to help you! This lack of service happened across 5 employees or so, so I think this is the new way to go. I went here to look at a handbag I was interested in purchasing. I had seen it online and liked the color and upon finding out the Waikele store had them in stock, I wanted to see it for myself. I did find the bag, but the color was different than the one online. It was much darker than the color I saw online. However, on the shelf below it was a shoulder bag with a crossbody strap inside, in a color I loved (Laurel, pebbled leather in silver/Iris (a lavender color), Mary Ann was very personable and asked me if I was doing okay and if I needed any help. She showed me a couple of other items. The bag was in stock and I received a new bag still in it's wrapping. The store was busy, and I was glad for the service. No pressure to buy, and I liked Mary Ann's suggestions. The cashier thanked me for visiting when I arrived at the register. This was not my first time there. I own 4 other Coach bags. After a disappointing visit to Kate Spade across the way (I never leave empty handed!), I decided to give Coach a try. I was searching high and low for a unique gift for my boss. I found a few things for her and more! The quality, design, and affordable price points are there. You just have to take the time to browse in every nook and cranny. I picked up an umbrella, two wallets, a badge holder, handbag, and canvas tote bag for well under $200. 70% off all merchandise, plus an additional 20% off Clearance = SCORE! My recommendation is to head straight to the Clearance shelves in the back. Peruse that section first to get the biggest bang for your buck. Then enjoy the rest of the store and listen to the offers that the sales associates are often pitching. If you don't hear anything, just ask! Every little bit of savings helps! Speaking of sales associates, all of them were friendly and so very helpful! Four different associates helped me out with new stock, a matching wallet, pricing, and where to find the pink umbrella that I saw another customer holding. Yesterday [7/11/18], Coach seemed to be pretty busy for a Wednesday! Granted there was a sale where you take an additional 60% off your entire purchase. I wasn't expecting to find anything, for we were just looking around. However, after roaming the shelves, I noticed some of their card cases and one caught my eye! Checking the original price, it was $65. On top of the 60% off deal that was going on, there was an additional 30% off for those card cases. I did my calculations and the card case ended up to be only $18. My older cousin and Aunty also bought some products with the amazing sale. Total savings were about $167! Living in paradise comes at a steep cost - most of the time. The Coach Outlet at Waikele Premium Outlets is one the few places on Oahu to get a great deal on excellent quality handbags and accessories. This location is my favorite Coach store for many reasons. First, the store looks and feels just as luxurious as a mall location despite the deep discounts. The sales associates are professional and helpful without the snooty attitudes that are often found at high end retailers. There are many sales associates available to calculate the final price on sale items and they can speak many languages to assist foreign customers. My friends from Asia go gaga over the prices here because Coach is very expensive in Asia. They also feel comfortable asking questions to sales associates in their native language. It is no surprise that tourists and local residents alike love this store. I'm sure that the other Coach stores have newer inventory, but I personally think that there is more variety at the outlet store. The outlet carries new inventory along with end-of-season bags, which I love because I want a lot of options to choose from. Some critics of outlet malls say that things are cheaper because they are lower quality items. I do not believe that is true of the Coach Outlet. I am still using my genuine leather Coach backpack that I bought from the outlet store nearly two years ago. It's durable, stylish, and functional. On my recent trip to Coach I bought a wallet for myself and a wallet to give as a gift. There was a 70% off sale plus an additional 20% off. I only paid a whopping $23 for the wallet I will give to my friend. The other wallet I bought for myself had an original price of around $275 and the final price after discounts was only $52. Both are genuine leather and gorgeous. The Coach Outlet is a must for anyone looking for a nice present for themselves or a high quality gift that will impress. The manager/lady was clearly not from here so yes she was a haole. Yes we refer a haole to mostly white people now. I like white people, in fact I am part white and know a lot of nice and friendly white people. However, when you disrespect me and aren't from here, best be sure I will call you a haole. Why does everyone go nuts in this store? 1. The craziness starts on the sidewalk because you have to stand in line just to get in. You know how your kids act at Disneyland when the lines are really long? Same thing starts happening here. 2. On big sales days like today, they pass out flyers with "50% off your entire purchase". AND!! And extra 20% off clearance items. You know that adrenaline rush your kids get when a FastPass pops out of the machine? Same phenomenon. I got my daughter her very first Coach wristlet for $19.99. Cheaper than a Hello Kitty one! 3. There are two couches on either side of the front door. Plant your kids on them and start your race. If there isn't enough room then your kids will have to sit on the floor. Note to staff: please get more couches. And a TV. Maybe 2 TVs. One with cartoons and one with ESPN. If the men and kids are occupied, the women will shop longer which means they will spend more $$. 4. Once inside, the race is ON. How fast can you try on every single bag, hat, and accessory in the store? The first lap is the fast one. Think: "I am Speed. KaChow!" 5. After doing a second and third lap around the store, it's time to pay. The line looks long but the staff at this Coach outlet are extremely efficient and that line will move faster than you can find parking at Waikele on a huge sale morning. 6. Change your mind? Return policy is great. No expiration. Keep your receipts. I once returned something 4yrs later. You want to return items from the store to the outlet? No problem. Just keep your receipts. So that is why women are cray-cray at this Coach outlet. Once a year during their big sale, I am that crazy lady. I don't have to have the latest and greatest, I just need something that will withstand my crazy all-weather all-terrain lifestyle and not break the bank. Great Black Friday sale that had 70% off everything except fragrance. I found my wife a beautiful raspberry shimmering colored tote. In addition to great merchandise, this store has exceptionally awesome cordial customer service. Whether it's the person that answered my phone call when I was checking their store hours or the folks greeting you when you arrive at the store or the staff ready to help find what you're looking for or answer questions. Its fantastic! (sort of embarrassing, but super flattering). You can make appointments to go shopping with a sales associate. Morgan is my absolute favorite. I'm rather picky when it comes to purses... and she gets my style. She also is amazing at building rapport with the customers and just making you feel like you're more than a number. She also knows her products, which is amazing to talk to someone who knows what you're talking about. She has been there about a year, I honestly hope she is promoted soon.
