Zumiez was my last stop before leaving Waikele Premium Outlets. Walking into the store I didn't expect local music to be playing, I thought it would be a different genre of music. It instantly put me in a good mood! The sale prices are reasonable and the workers are amazing. Ikaika helped me with gift shopping for my loved ones. Ikaika was very knowledgeable with products and picked out the right items catered to my needs. I ended up shopping for myself thanks to him. Located in the Waikele Premium Outlets on the Michael Kors side, its convenient for us to drop by to see whats available. I have also called to check if something was in stock. Lots of parking nearby. Bathrooms next door. Prices are higher than I'd like to pay for the items here, but if they have the specific items we're looking for and can't get anywhere else... so be it. Definitely works well for us. Customer service from all the employees deserves recognition. Every single Zumies location has incredible employees. They have all been nothing but super helpful and exactly how I wished employees were everywhere. Lately I see employees on their phone while on the floor, working with ear buds on, sitting down and not wanting to lift any fingers types. I have kind of accepted that and the bare minimum being; just show up lol. Not here. The employees are checking all the boxes for me and my family. Thank you for that. Clothing, footwear, skate gear, accessories and more. Style collabs from anime, skate brands, and import cars. Exactly what my teens are into. Basically they would have everything the typical high schooler would want. Highly recommend. I'm sure anyone could find something they would like here. They are so sweet! We ordered snowboard and accessories from Zumiez online after we have been looking around for months. It is difficult to get those item ship to Hawaii (normally with expensive shipping charge and/or no local store to try on). We finally ordered from Zumiez since we felt more comfortable when they have a local store here in Hawaii - when we have questions, it is easier to get help with. We got one of our stuff delivered today on New Year's Day (can you believe it? We almost thought it is scam). The staff is super friendly and cool, handed the item over to my bf with the lovely notes and stickers. That was so nice and sweet of them. Tbh I haven't experienced such great customer service in a while and we are really appreciated it. It literally made our New Year's Day even better! Happy new year, Zumiez team! The staff here is always so friendly and accommodating when I shop. Today Ryder and Marina (sorry if I got the spelling/names wrong through the masks) helped us out. They checked on us twice, to ensure that we got everything we needed. And when we couldn't find what we needed in store, they also offered to shop online and have that shipped to the store or the nearest store to where we lived. It's free shipping for them, that takes anywhere from 3-5 days to get on island, if you're not in a real rush to have the product right then and there. I don't mind driving out here to this particular location because they're the only ones on island with deals and sale items. It's a mainland based store, so just keep in mind with seasonal items. But they assured that they have items all year long via their websites, it's just that sizes and availability will vary, depending on what you're needing. My brother wanted to go shopping and this was the first and only clothing store we came to. He was looking for new skinny jeans. There was a deal of getting 2 pairs of pants and 2 shirts for a total of $110. Is it a good deal? (Including tax) I have no idea. Other deals were buy one get the next one half off. One of the workers leeched onto my brother as he was browsing. At first I thought he was being friendly and helpful but after a while I was getting annoyed. Just let us shop in peace! Ugh. And some of the clothing options he picked out, I don't know if it influenced on what my brother picked out. I wasn't looking for myself. There wasn't much I would consider purchasing. I guess it appeals to my brother's age group (high schoolers) or those that like the whole 'swag/whatever you call it' scene. read more

Been here a few times before to shop for gifts for family. Never really noticed their women's section until recently. I came in looking for something to wear for a party, just my luck they had a SALE going on and you already know where that lead.... picked up a few items and they had a BOGO buy 1 get the other 1/2 off so I scored 2 bottoms, a dress & a top and with the applied discount my total came out to $27. Customer service is always great, they are very helpful and greet you once you walk in. This store is pretty upbeat and always kept neat. Though I wish they had MORE WOMENS clothes to choose from! read more

Out of all the Zumiez I've been to in the 19 years of me being alive, I have to say that this location has the greatest customer service. They had a quick response to every question and had such great friendly attitudes. I live in salt lake and it's definitely worth the drive out here. They aren't just about sales, but they create a great atmosphere and gave me an A1 experience that is gonna keep me coming to this location. I might be getting to old and cranky (I do spend a lot of time yelling for people to get off my lawn) but I find the store to be dark and messy at all times. And the music is too loud!! (There I go being old again) Staff that I have seen spend more time talking with each other and messing around then assisting customers. I give 3 stars for the variety of items they have. I recently visited the store and found myself not really pleased... kind of bored or just mutual. If you're lucky you can catch really good sales. For me the Waikiki location has more things/sales. The worker's here seemed pre-occupied with things compared to the Waikiki location that's always nice and greet you and help out with questions. (They even helped me pick out a jacket once) The store was clean though. :] The reason I give them a 5 star rating is the phone call I made today. The Waikele location is MUCH closer than Waikiki for me so I was wondering if they carried a certain shoe in kids sizes (yeah... I got small feet). The worker was glad to help me but informed me they don't normally carry them but he can order them for me as long as the website carried them. He was very patient with my thousands of questions and I thanked him and got off the phone happy. Feeling like he honestly wanted to help me. Great customer service. Yay! read more

Good customer service. They don't have the greatest selection compared to their other locations. I found a few items but there was a little discrepancy on an item that I had chose because it was on a sale rack when it wasn't suppose to be. The manager gladly honored the discount with no issues. It's been a while since i've been to Waikele, so this place is new to me. We came here in search of gifts for my daughter, who's birthday is coming up soon.The kids section was a bit on the small side, but for what they had it was awesome. Very cute tops at some decent sale prices, and of course an awesome selection of clothes for the young adult / parents still trying to be hip... I'm not that old dammit.... The trip here was more so to investigate possibilities, so we didn't puchase anything yet... As I walked in with a 10 y.o. looking for a backpack, some rap about giving it to "her pussy hard" was blasting over their stereo system that did not seem to phase the staff out. Even my kid turned around and looked at me as the word PUSSY was repeated over and over again. The music was so loud, there is no way in hell those working the store didn't notice as I suspect the choice of music is selected precisely by those kids. Where was the manager???? I made a comment but the pimpled scrawny teenagers on shift did not seem to care so I'll check with your corporate office to see how they feel about your choice of music in their stores. I always go in Zumiez but never bought anything before but I happened to stop by the outlet with an old friend of mines to check it out. When I went, there was a lot of sales going on and the staff were really nice! They asked me if I had any questions about the promotions that was going on. I stopped by the sandal rank where there was a 50% off promotion going on and there was one slipper in particular I found that I like but wasn't in my size. I asked one of the staff if they had it in a different size and let me tell you, the whole staff looked around, check the back, check the computers, called other stores to see if they had the slipper in my size. Unfortunately, they didn't. But I really appreciate the staff that works there. They send out a great vibe and I will be returning again to buy more. Normally I do all my holiday shopping online. I abhor the crowds, lines and the stressed out staff in the stores. Don not get me wrong, I understand why the staff would be stressed out with the masses overwhelming them. However, I avoid the experience the best I can every year. Unfortunately, This year it was unavoidable. My grandson had very particular brands in clothing and skateboard gear and he was very specific where he wanted them from. My daughter had already shared some of her experiences this year so I was not looking forward to heading out to battle on a Saturday, 9 days before Christmas. The staff was very busy of course but, you would not have guessed they were. Each and every person there was incredibly friendly and gracious! We had interaction with at least 6 members not counting those who greeted us when we walked through the store. They are very knowledgeable and quick to assist with questions or needed items. Even checkout was great. All items were folded nicely enough to go right in to the box for wrapping. Most places are just shoving them in the bag as fast as they can. Whatever the hiring process is there DO NOT CHANGE a thing. You have an amazing staff! Do what you can to keep them! You've got the best on the island. Thank you! read more

What's with the one star rating? Reason being; horrible customer service. When I was at the cash register, I was brutally ignored. She was chit-chatting with her friends and casually cussing and of course ignoring me and of course smacking her lips with her disgusting gum. They were unorganized and didnt know what to do when she ran out of ones; she was lost and to top it off she was asking other customers for change. Then she licked her fingers following up with grabbing a bag and then she used that same hand to handle my "merchandise" that I purchased and threw it in the bag. YES, SHE DIDNT EVEN FOLD IT.
