It has tons of tables lined up cafeteria style, dingy lighting provided by the warm glow of a dozen or so flat screens which are slowly gentrifying the outdated big box screens of yesteryear, the kind of place you expect stale cigarrette smoke, and old sports die hards to come and watch a sporting event while drinking modertly priced beer and eating on super greasy, generous, staple bar foods such as burgers, dogs, wings and things. Last time came I had what i BELIEVE is called the juliet burger, perhaps? I took a picture. I order exactly what the gentleman sitting next to me was eating and this waitress snapped at me as if a full or half dozen was the worst question for her to have to ask me. I said nothing but then my brother had noticed the same thing coming from the same waitress. Been in to dine several times with friends, just to have beer and hot wings. Always delicious and good sauces to choose from. My wife loves the teriyaki, and my youngest son loves them plain with no sauce at all. Great fries and cold beers. Waitress staff is always friendly and we get greeted with a smile every time. We ask for recommendations periodically, just to try something new on the menu. Everything we have tried, has been to our liking. Also, family friendly. Our first time here at Coach's.... came to watch the Seahawks game. The wait staff was really nice but the food was just okay. The buffalo wings flavoring was pretty good but there was hardly any meat on the bones. Pretty much everything was deep fried so I ended up having to throw out a lot of it. My husband ordered the fish and chips which was good but again lots of grease and breading. It's definitely a good place to come watch a game and eat bar food... My friends and I have been regulars at Coach's since I can last remember. This last time I was here for the packers and Dallas game was the last time I'll ever set foot in this establishment. Mainly due to a young lady (that appeared to be in her mid 30's) that was supposed to be a manager and a server at the same time. At the end of the game this "manager" brought us our tab. I was overcharged by at least a minimum of two to three beers. I mentioned this to her and she just looked at me and walked away. I went up to the bar to ask for the manager and that's when I found out that our server was also the manager. So I went back to her and said "Hey, I'll go ahead and pay for my tab but I just want to let you know that I didn't drink this much and that I'm being overcharged". She acted like I was a criminal and was still not paying attention to me. Long story short, I will never step foot into this establishment again so long as they continue to have poor management. The fact that they are stealing from hard working citizens by over charging them for things they did not order, I would highly advise to steer clear from this place. If for whatever irrational reason you decide to visit this establishment, make sure you keep a close eye of every single item you order. For now, they have lost a long time customer. read more

Four stars for the wings. I have been a regular here since I turned 21 and I can honestly say that from my experience, there are no better wings out there. Coaches is expensive and the service you get here is generally less than perfect but the wings and TVS are what keep us coking back. Coaches is perfect for any game or fight and the food is consistent and delicious. When you walk in, you're eyes meet the entire bar. It is fairly small and if you're not sitting at the bar, you'll be sitting at a picnic style table that seats about 20 or more people at each. Unless you have that many people in your party (which isn't a good idea because you'll likely not find a seat) you'll be sitting with strangers. The first couple times I visited coaches I didn't care for the fact that you're forced to share a table with other people but the atmosphere allows for a good time and it's actually sort of nice to mingle with other people. I have been to this place when there wasn't a seat in the house and yet they always seem to get our food out in a timely manner which is great. The kitchen staff is well staffed for rushes and you don't really have to worry about hearing someone tell you that they are busy and the kitchen is backed up, this is a huge plus. I love that I can count on delicious, fast and consistent eats when visiting coaches. I have also ordered takeout here before and believe it or not, the food tastes just a good when you get home. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. There is room for improvement in the friendliness and speed of the waitresses and it would be nice if they offered an incentive to dine here for wings verses going to Buffalo Wild Wings or wing stop, maybe a discount night or something during their slow times so that people like myself and my family can enjoy the food without dealing with the rush of game and fight nights. Overall, coaches is pretty great. When I move back home from college, I will continue to be a regular. Still craving those wings... Even 400 miles away. read more

There wings are good not the best but good. Service is mediocre unless your a regular,some staff are friendly an smiling others down right blah an rude. Place says open till 2am on there website its not, if during the week dont expect to get food or drink after 11 am on most occassions. Seating is ok for large groups not wanting to pay attention to the tv's which are up very high an there small an old an hard to see especially if your further at the tables. As a veteran I am appalled at the "military friendly service" I received. The service from the manager didn't want to serve me a vendetta towards the military saying " sorry for your service" they let my food go cold and beer flat after I asked if they had a military discount. It's probably cool if ur with a big group, but I sat a the bar, it's more social anyway and I was working out of town and a little bored. The worst part - I figured I'd hit a sports bar over Applebees and maybe have a nice conversation with the waitresses or bartender, had my Cubs hat on, everyone likes to strike up chat with the out of towner, right? Boy I was terribly mistaken. Not even a "How are you," I sat there an hour and a half and the only thing I heard out of the girls tending bar was "you want another?" The three girls were only 2 to 3 feet from me the whole time, yet far too busy talking to the guy sitting next to me, whom I think was the boyfriend of one of the waitresses. I honestly felt like when I asked the girls a question, like where's the can, I was bothering them. Not what I expected. So the service was standoffish and add mediocre food and watered down drinks. I'm not going to go to that place again and have the wait staff ignore me. Advice - Pay attention to your customers, that's why I spent over $50 and you got a $5 tip. read more

Hey everyone! So this bar looks like your average bar but this is the perspective of someone who hasn't been to many bars either! First off the mugs if beer here are pretty big so make sure you can finish it! Also reasonably priced. We were also hungry so we got some food. First we got wings in 4 different types of sauces mild, hot, teriyaki and jalapeño. The mild has a good flavor and good for those who can't take spicy like me. But I tried the hot and I felt a small kick ehich is saying something! My friends however didn't feel anything so if u need spice get their strongest sauce!! We also got the Buffalo fries where they put buffalo sauce then smother it with cheese which was awesome! The fried zucchini was great too. It's completely pointless to ask for your food made a certain way. Asked for very well done wings, received soggy chicken skin wings. So good luck on your visit. Maybe they'll get your order right. The waitresses are very friendly with a smile always on their face. The manager/ owner is no exception, very friendly and personable as well. We received much more than what we paid for... Along with are meals we were offered to sample drinks, tacos, and wings. I've only been twice but each time was great. The waiters are friendly, the food comes out quickly, and it's delicious! I am WingStop fanatic so I am skeptical of trying other wings but Coaches didn't let me down. Their hot wings are amazing. The garlic parmesean wings were okay, they lack flavor to me. I will be back to try other flavors. I've only been between the hours of 12-2pm and it's been dead both times which it was great to me. I also tried the honey BBQ boneless wings and they were good. Their teriyaki sauce is a bit too strong for my likely so I'll pass on that. Overall I've had good experiences. read more

Food is amazing, anything with the buffalo sauce is outstanding! The service is great, tip them well. They are friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is fantastic, just cool people coming to hang out and have a drink. They don't have any posted hours, they just go by foot traffic, so some nights they could do last call at 11:00pm and some nights it could be 1:45am. Just depends. We used to come here every Wednesday for Wing Wednesday after work. Ate wings, drank IPA on tap, & stayed until they closed. Many a drunken time has been had in the smoking section. The wings are pretty great. They nixed their unlimited wings for $10 and we haven't been back. Waitresses and service were always pretty great. Beers were fairly priced but I wouldn't say the beers or food were cheap; just fairly priced. I loved sipping a freshly poured IPA out of a big frosty mug. They were to closed at 12:00a, they last call led us around 10:30ish and they were dam near kicking us out as fast as they were busting the tables. UPDATE! My original review said that they needed to replace their old TV's and they have now done it. Coaches is probably the only legit sports bar in Lancaster and it's a pretty good one. I've been going to this spot more than usual lately and my experiences vary which is why it's getting the 3 instead of 4. The servers here are very friendly and are definetely not hard to look at. Although on one occasion some of my buds and I went to go have some wings and beer after work and two of my buds left the table to hit the head (bathroom). Before their return our server asked us if they had walked out (there were still 6 of us at the table including kids). At this point I was turned off and unfortunately her tip went from very HIGH to average. This is a hidden gem in the antelope valley in Lancaster, literally hidden in a residential area in the back. I came here for lunch with co-workers and their wings do not disappoint. The reviews are accurate on the wings, they were delicious! I ordered the Kings burger with bacon and opted for onion rings instead of fries. I definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch meal. My co-workers got their sandwiches and it was enough for 2 meals. Their portion sizes are generous. The staff was accommodating and service was good. read more
