Ordered two pizzas from here and they were absolutely amazing. I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want everyone finding out about this place, but it's just that good. At the same time, I hope this place gets all the business it deserves. The owner is friendly and clearly works hard. It's nothing fancy, but the quality of the ingredients speaks for itself. The pizzas are big, loaded with flavorful and fresh toppings, and some of the best I've had. Hands down, this is one of the best pizza spots in Orange County!
With my first time at Coast Pizza, I would summarize my visit as having convenient ordering, fast service, a warm welcome from the owner, and quality food ! Online ordering made it easy to customize and order pizza for take-out or delivery. The menu has only a few options of types of pizzas but, to me, that just means they focus on the quality of what they serve. For my first time, I decided to try their most popular ones: potato & caramelized onion pizza and the Great White (with added pepperoni). Our pickup eta was 20 minutes! When you get there, there's a small parking lot and a pick up window (no where to sit since it's meant to be take-out only). The owner greeted us with his warm and calm demeanor even though it was so hot (hot outside being 85 degrees, as well as hot inside from the ovens in such a small space). While waiting for our order, we spotted the fresh focaccia that looked to be toasty and pillowy and smelled incredible! So we threw on a last minute order on their iPad (made for walk-in orders) for focaccia and added their homemade garlic ranch and homemade spicy Calabrian ranch. If you like thin crust, this is your pizza. If you like a crust that holds up and yet isn't dense, this is your pizza. The flavors are outstanding. The focaccia was as amazing as it looked. Both ranches were delicious as well. As someone who eats a lot of spicy, the spicy Calabrian ranch wasn't spicy for me at all, but had a nice flavor different from the garlic ranch. The meal was a hit with the entire family. 10/10 would recommend supporting this local business creating top-quality pizzas!
This was the first time my family and I have tried Coast pizza. And wow this place makes a good pizza. We ordered via DoorDash the Cheese, Potato & Caramelized Onion, & Pepperoni, Sausage, Garlic. Our order was on time and still at a good temperature. The flavor and quality of ingredients could be tasted in each pizza. Didn't feel bloated and was able to enjoy a few slices before saving the rest for the next day. Which the next day the pizza is just as good. Would highly recommended!
I knew this pizza was going to be good and needed to try it as soon as we got back from our trip. Here's the story. My coworker sent me an Instagram reel last week about this new pizza spot in HB, and right away I told my husband it looked exactly like another pizza place we're regulars at. We made a mental note to try it when we got back. When I went to order online today, I noticed the menu looked very familiar... including the pie we originally fell in love with: the Burrata, Garlic, Calabrians & Caramelized Onion. Turns out, I learned today that the owner started the other spot too. HB is definitely farther for us since we live in Lake Forest, but luckily I work not too far from here. Needless to say, it was so worth it. The Burrata, Garlic, Calabrians & Caramelized Onion is still one of my favorite pies. It came straight out of the oven when we got there, and we almost finished the whole thing in the car before even driving off.
Simple in design but a masterclass in delivery! We went to the HB surf contest and wanted pizza afterwards but the main scene was crazy and left us disappointed with the options. Google led us to Coast pizza. Still in HB but near the Westminster border. On the way home too! They prefer online ordering for simplicity and accuracy. Reasonable price and appropriate wait time for a freshly hand made pie. That's where all the crap stops! ((This spot nailed it! Topping was of very high quality and the sauce and dough were outstanding!)) Paul, the owner is a cool hardworking man whom only wants to deliver an authentic pizza made in a true fashion. Delicious! It's only take out but maybe that's best! It was a true gem of a find! I hope he expands and becomes everyone's favorite pizza legend.
was craving pizza one day and stumbled across Coast Pizza on yelp. couldn't call in to order and didn't order online because I didn't see any half options so i decided to order in person. paul, the owner, said you can indicate the half option in the notes area and it will be made as requested! as i was waiting, another person waiting asked if i have ever tried coast's pizza before, in which i shared "no". he said it was amazing and that he eats it on a weekly basis. he has had to wait hours for it before. that made me excited to try the pizza but also scared that i had to wait hours for it LOL anyway... long story short, got the pizza in 20 mins and ate it out of my trunk even though i live only 5 mins away. LORD BABY JESUS WHAT IS THIS???????????? dave portnoy, come try this 10.98/10 pizza!!! i am a true lover of thin crust. perfect ratio of sauce/cheese/toppings. soft whole garlics???? flavor profile is top notch. i've tried a good amount of pizza places but my goodness, coast pizza has a permanent place in my heart. my favorite was the bee sting pizza from roberta's in NY (sopressata, hot honey, chili oil, basil, red sauce). i now have a new favorite and i didn't think that was possible. i am a pineapple lover and advocate for pineapple on pizza. at one point, i thought i could not thoroughly enjoy pizza without it! the bee sting pizza was the first to change my mind, which was why it was my favorite but now..... now..... we have 4 contenders at coast pizza and it's in the same state as me. there are no tables/seatings. it is a grab and go establishment. order online, come pick up! easy peasy. i ordered for the 4th of july and it was the #1 item at the potluck!! parking lot is a bit small. coast shares the plaza with a bar and smoke shop. however, there is parking surrounding the plaza that you can park at. ranch. spicy ranch. i love them both but i like the regular ranch more. it's in-house made, super herb-ally and a must have if you're into that. anyway - as you can see.. i have a lot to say about their pizza: crispy on the bottom and soft/delish on the top. oh!!!! i came late to pick up my pizza on the 4th. paul noticed and reheated the pizza without me asking. amazing?????????? ok, i really need to come back asap.

Crust you want to eat. Ingredients you can taste. Coast pizza is pumping out quality pizza made with quality all organic ingredients. With years of pizza making comes a real experienced chef and you have to try these pies! Right off beach Blvd not too far from 405 frwy this used to be another pizza joint but now the pizzas are next level. Nice crunchy but not burnt crust with organic tomato sauce and delicious topping g creations like the popular potato pizza. Chef was inviting and friendly and the kitchen looked clean and open and my two large pizzas were ready to go! Try coast pizza!
This new spot is such a vibe! I was looking for new spot for lunch but it didn't open until 3:30pm which was fine--had something new to look forward to. Plus I've been looking for some well crafted pizza for a while now and I LOVE barrata. Def order ahead online guys! Met the owner Paul, he was jammin' to some good music and spinning pies. It looked so meditative. Will be back to try some other pizzas!
Just blown away by this one-man shop. He is undoubtedly making one of the best pizzas in the States. My friend from the East Coast said the same thing. Unreal.
Coast Pizza is delicious! Met Paul today to pick up our first much anticipated pie. We talked about fermentation, confit garlic, jammy caramelization of onions and good bread. Anticipation was worth it. The pie was very good. The crust was crackin and crunch and chew were spot on. My 7 year old who is a cheese afficianodo was thoroughly enjoying his pep and buratta slice. He stared at it realizing his resistance to new flavors and textures was for naught. Big win for Coast Pizza. Thank You Paul for the hospitality. Glad we have this spot close to home. You guys gotta try the focaccia and both ranches for dipping West Coast Style.
10/10 pizza. My husband and I did half pepperoni, burrata, and honey plus half garlic white. Both delicious. Very thin yet soft and with a crunch pizza. The toppings tasted very fresh. You can tell he cares about his work. The garlic white had garlic confit which made it very soft and subtle taste. Owner was very friendly. It was just him making pizzas. Very simple concept but very delicious. There is no seating. Right when you enter there is a screen to put your order in. I'm glad to have a great pizza place near by.

After being on the road eating some amazing pizza, it felt great to finally get home and crave our favorite. As soon as I took that first bite of our house favorite, no onions with an add of pepperoni, I was reminded just how lucky we are to live near this place. We've had plenty of great pizza during our travels, but there's something special about coming home to a favorite that never disappoints. It's always a pleasure to spend money on quality, but when that quality is put together with genuine care and love, it makes the experience that much better. Update: the owner apologized and refunded without me asking him to. Will def be back to try the other pizzas. After he added the burrata and basil it made the pizza great! They are a thin crust style pizza so you won't feel super bloated after eating it. I want to try the potato one next. Also this place is to go only. No where to sit and eat ------------------ Ordered a house special pizza for pick up. Got home and the pizza is missing burrata topping and basil. Their phone number leads to a vm that tells you to text them. We texted them that our pizza was incorrect and no reply. Had to drive allllll the way back and the owner was like oh yeah I guess I forgot to add it and then takes the pizza to the back to add it. No real apologies or to remake. So make sure to double check your order before you leave because they don't pick up the phone read more

I stumbled on Coast Pizza while doing my usual insomnia late night pizza deep dive. I could tell by the photos something amazing was about to happen. It's a brand new little spot with one guy running the whole show. Started chatting (super nice guy) and found out he used to run B+C Pizza, that incredible place tucked inside the bakery in Laguna Niguel. I'd had B+C exactly once and it blew me away, but I live in HB so I never made it back. When he told me that, my brain pretty much short circuited. He said this place is a bit different.... different oven, etc. I think he's right because this was even better than I remember. All of the toppings were next level... but the crust is the whole story. Organic flour, top tier everything, and it eats like a high end bakery baguette. That kind of crunch where you hear it before you taste it. Genuinely one of the best crusts I've ever put in my face. This dude knows what he is doing. It's rare and special to find a pizza place run by one guy who actually lives and breathes pizza. That kind of passion, you can taste it in every bite. This is hands down the best pizza in orange county, and one of the best pizzas I've had in my life. This place can count on me consuming a few thousand calories every week or 2. read more

I love this spot. Paul the owner and pizza maker is awesome. I walked in and he brought out fresh Focaccia Bread loafs that smelled amazing and tasted really good too. The pizza is really good and the ingredients are top notch. Best pizza in Huntington Beach for sure. Highly recommend hidden gym. read more

A cute to go pizza spot! We got the house pizza and added pepperoni and it was so good! We also got some focaccia bread that I ended up using to make sandwiches at home for the weekend and it was incredible. I wish they had bacon bits and I'd be all over the potato one. Service was quick and friendly. They had a self service kiosk but the employees there are also very kind and helpful. Didn't get a chance to take a picture of the focaccia before she was turned into a sandwich but trust it was gorgeous. Will definitely be back! read more

This pizza was amazing! I live down the street and my husband and I love a good thin pizza with a crunch and this was exactly that! I enjoyed both the regular ranch and the spicy ranch. We tried the house pizza and it was great! We'll definitely be coming back for more. read more
