The two other flags shown should NEVER have been flown ABOVE the American Flag. Unfortunately, they were closed. I returned August 8th on a "Courtesy Call" to inform them that someone displayed their flags inappropriately. I was told that they were forced to fly the American Flag at half-staff for Lindsey Graham, and, due to mechanical problems with the flagpoles, they flew it as pictured. I mentioned then they should not have been flown ABOVE the American Flag. (By the way, the Lindsey Graham half-staff Presidential proclamation and State order was from July 12th until 6:00 P.M. July 18th and had already expired when I took their picture on July 21st.) My "Courtesy Call" was to provide the Nursery with a Pamphlet "How to Respect and Display OUR FLAG", published by the U.S. Marine Corps, and offered it to the Nursery Management representative, who refused to accept the pamphlet, turned his back on me, and went back into his Office without another word. Based on my experience with "My Yard Center", I have two words for future customers: CAVEAT EMPTOR, a Latin phrase that means "let the buyer beware". It implies a rule that puts the risk on the person who buys an item. The seller does not have to pay for problems or bad parts found after the sale. SEVERAL customers found this out the HARD WAY, as reflected in their LESS THAN POSITIVE Reviews! Hopefully, you have already decided to go elsewhere!

We went to Discount Landscape Supply on March 6, 2026, for their Spring Open House…read more Even though we got there at 10:00 when it started, it seemed that everyone had the same idea. We went to purchase 2 Crepe Myrtle Trees for our yard. One of the gentlemen who worked there was very pleasant and helpful in showing us the available trees. We chose the two we liked and made arrangements to have them delivered as he went back to tag them as SOLD. Late that afternoon, they arrived at our home with our two trees. Since it was later in the day, we waited until the next day to start planting them in the ground. My husband dug the first hole, and as we were settling the tree into its new home, I started to remove the tags. I was looking at the color wording of the Crepe Myrtle, and lo and behold, it was a RIVER BIRCH, and so was the second one. I immediately called the store to explain that we had gotten the wrong trees. They had me send pictures and said they would get back to me ASAP. Since that Saturday was the second day of their Spring Sale, they were even busier than the previous day and closed on Sunday. But 1st thing Monday morning, they called and were very apologetic for the error. The Birch and Crepe Myrtle were sitting right next to each other and just got tagged wrong. Later that Monday morning, the truck with our Myrtles showed up and picked up the Birch, apologizing again for the error. So now we have our two trees planted and just waiting for the beautiful purple blooms to appear. Discount Landscape, you are the best.

Went here on Sunday August 24th 2025 with my mom and dad to look for more furniture for our home…read more We walked in, and was greeted by a smiling face. We actually asked for Julia though because we have been here before, and she has helped us. We looked all over the store, and we were also looking at particular curio cabinets, a small one to fit a realm of paper in. We did find quite a few options, but they were either too small or too wide. We also asked Julia if items came in the options that we were looking for, but she couldn't find the item or its instructions in the database. We continued to look around the store, we looked at their carpets, and I looked at their artwork. Maybe I am looking for more like pop culture items, but it seems like there was not any non-beachy paintings. I'm looking for like items with a music note, maybe musical artists too, and like a classic seashell maybe. Anyways, we left the store without buying anything, and we also checked out the other location in North Myrtle. Will be back for our furniture needs!
