Those sold homes had the same target price range & most/some of the desired home specs he identified we resonated with the most. We would look at the recently sold homes from this list and swipe "left" or "right" on whether or not we would buy the home if it were available on the market today... or if we would pass on it. It allowed us to really zero in on what was most important to us in our new first home together. Justin was never afraid to share his honest, professional, and expert opinion on things. Yet, he was also very thoughtful with how and when to best weigh in during more emotionally-charged discussions between my husband and I trying to navigate on a decision to pursue an offer on a home we'd just seen. He was skillfully able find that delicate balance of leading us to the right path to account for factors we sohuld consider, yet not being overbearing and careful not to impress any strong opinion or negative bias on us. This made us feel like every decision we made along the way was really and truly ours, with Justin still there to guide us whenever we needed. Looking back, by asking thoughtful questions, Justin actually saved us from making an offer on a home that would NOT have been a great fit for us. For that, we are eternally grateful. I really appreciated Justin's methodical and process-driven approach, as he really helped us stay organized in the midst of all the chaos. He was super flexible in being able to work with our hectic travel schedules and never made us felt bad about wanting to see more open houses weekend after weekend. He was never pushy to make a sale, and it was clear to us that Justin's top priority was to find us the perfect home at the right price & best terms that worked for us. Finally I contacted Sonya and was pleasantly surprised at how responsive she was in comparison...on a Sunday! Both my husband and I work demanding full time jobs so weekends are our only free time and so much of what we do is online and via email. In a handful of emails Sonya made me comfortable with her knowledge and she wasn't overly "salesy" in asking to work with us. Nicole was referred to me by a few friends from church. Nicole was great to work with. She was punctual, easy to talk to, and I really felt like she had my best interest in mind. When looking at homes together she gave good insight and advice that I never would have thought of when looking at a home (for example, the value of things; how she really recommended a garage; whether it is a good value or not, etc.) Nicole was also easy to get a hold of and would answer our phone calls or return them right away. I was very new to this real estate business, and she was very patient with explaining the terminology and processes (especially with short sales!). I think overall, I trusted Nicole and her advice and I found her to be an honest real estate agent who cared more about helping us find the right home (rather than pressuring us into buying more expensive homes). In the end, she helped us to get our house just 2.5 months after we started looking. :) She knew what our budget was and what kind of areas we were interested in and helped us with that. We currently live in a condo in NORTH PARK and we love the place!!!!!!!!!! Since then, I have referred Nicole to another friend and that friend is currently in escrow, and that friend says great things about Nicole too! I would definitely continue to refer Nicole to my other friends. Besides myself, I know 3 other friends Nicole has helped with house hunting and all have had POSITIVE experiences with her. I met him through a trusted…read morefriend, and I was impressed with his level of knowledge and the amount of data that he had about the market. I was interested in selling a family member's condo who was moved into assisted living, and had not maintained the property; the family wanted to sell the condo as is, since we were not in the position to put in the time or money required to sell at the market rate. Obviously, making informed decisions is the most important part of selling a home. The condo needed to be sold in a short period of time, and Rick suggested listing it as an investment property to best meet our needs. Rick had previously helped sell a home in a very similar situation, and I trusted his guidance. Rick went above and beyond, to ensure the property was listed with the best possible description and photos. Before listing the condo, Rick suggested cleaning out the clutter and garbage that was left in the condo to get the best offer possible. When there were concerns about how the property looked inside, Rick offered to remove trash to improve the showing- who does that?  But this just speaks to his commitment to making sure we were well taken care of. He listed the condo, and had two offers immediately; he discussed the pros and cons of each offer with me, and I took Rick's suggestion, leading to a straightforward cash sale, and quick close of escrow. His cool, calm mindset kept my anxiety low and gave me the confidence he would get the job done - and he did! First meeting to close of escrow in 3 weeks! I have bought and sold properties before, and I can honestly say that Rick was ALWAYS available for me to answer questions, and ensure agents were able to tour the condo. Rick made me feel at ease with the whole process, and demonstrated empathy and compassion for the challenging situation I was dealing with. Rick's responsiveness was incredible. If he didn't pick up, he always called back no longer than 5 minutes later, or if I texted him a question, he would often respond in 2 minutes or less. Seriously. I was selling the condo as is, and time was of the essence; Rick understood the current market, and understood the price needed. The delivery of the information was straightforward: present the info and talk about pros/cons/strategy for moving forward. He really cared about our family, and needs in a difficult situation - I felt like he looked out for me and had my best interests in mind. I truly appreciated his input and relied on it heavily. This is an invaluable quality to have as a service provider and not everyone has it. It's easy to push paper and get the signatures, but Rick is really focused on making sure people are satisfied through the process and with the outcome. But as you can see, based on the above, Rick went above and beyond (as I'm positive he does with all of his clients) and truly made me feel like I had a partner throughout. Not a big deal, but it was $1100. He charged for $1,300 for PAINTING, yes you read that correctly.. To PAINT. What kind of paint are you using? Diamonds & gold in your crap complex in the hood? Anyways, his counterpart did the walk through with me and even told me 'oh yeah you get something back. by law we have to get it out to you within 21 days' so day 19 rolls around, I am thinking, don't you guys need me address to send me my check? I write to them, 'oh let me get your itemized bill ready'... They said, don't worry we charged you over your 1100 deposit, you don't need to pay us the overages, we will just keep the full deposit... Scam Artists. They are the worst. I was such a good tentant, never complained once about the noise & riff raff they allowed in. I even asked once if they could update my stove that on its last leg of life, or the counter tops - ohhh no. They just replaced 2 people's water heaters, so no more for that. Joke. I would highly recommend not working with him in his real estate business as he is SUCH a con man. Never answers his texts or emails once he ropes you into his garbage leases. Do NOT trust him.
