They told me to contact a non-existent eBay "comprehensive online portal", then stopped responding to my phone calls and emails. Based on the other Yelp reviews, it appears that this company's business involves selling reduced price bargains that may well have some type of damage. Local customers shopping at this store in person may know about Building Liquidator's "buyer beware" approach to discounted goods, but I bought the mower from them from hundreds of miles away on eBay; it was listed as "new, in the box" and I had no idea that it might have some kind of problem. When the box arrived, it had clearly been opened and resealed. I suspect now that the mower may have been a return from another customer, perhaps because of the same malfunction, and that Building Liquidators then passed it on to me. Their handling of this situation doesn't speak well for their company's customer service. I'm disputing the charges with my credit card company. Customers should be aware that their state's consumer protection laws or credit card company's policies may offer them additional protection, regardless of what any particular company's policies may state.

I was sold the wrong parts to service my own equipment -- that alone tells you everything about their attention to detail. I brought my machine back in to have them correct it, and at the same time asked them to address a hydraulic leak. Picked it up... still leaking. So what exactly did I pay for? It gets worse. They serviced my hedge trimmer and told me I had until Saturday to pick it up. I show up on Saturday -- and it's gone. Missing. No explanation, no accountability, no effort to resolve it. Just nothing. That's completely unacceptable. The bigger issue is the complete lack of professionalism and respect. After multiple bad experiences, I returned to drop my mower off again and voiced my concerns. Instead of trying to fix anything, I was told -- verbatim -- to "get your mower and get out," along with profanity. That's not customer service. That's a business that has completely lost control. Between wrong parts, incomplete repairs, missing equipment, and outright disrespect, this is NOT the same place it used to be. I wouldn't trust them with anything at this point. See you tomorrow lol you have no idea what I have in store for you guys - you cursed at the wrong person. In customer service and have to deal with complaints in the automotive business I don't tell them to get the car and get the f out and don't want their business I hear them and correct the issues especially if we messed up. The young lady who greeted me was very nice, and helped me get my lawn mower out of my car, which I didn't expect her to do. She had very nice nails, and if my nails looked that good, I wouldn't be touching someone's dirty mower, but she had no problem with it. I took a very short time to replace my blade so I didn't spend much time in the showroom. But what I was able to see I appreciated - spare parts and new equipment all neatly displayed. Once my mower was ready a young man helped me reload my mower into my trunk. Again, I didn't expect any help. That they did this means a lot because not a lot of places help out anymore. This place gets busy because when I was there, 2 people came in and as I was leaving, 2 more were coming. This was about 10:30am on a Saturday morning. Plan accordingly. I had a good experience and would definitely go back to Turf Machine for another service.

We went back to Larry now that our yard was completed and found the most challenging part of our experiencing was picking just one table. Larry has fantastic quality tables and is a great guy to work with. He's straight forward and knows literally everything about Teak tables. He let us spend nearly an hour in his store considering what we wanted to choose and answered all of our questions. Given this was in the time of COVID, he was also very respectful of keeping socially distant (easy to do in his store) and wearing a mask, and he only sees clients by appointment one at a time now. He was kind enough to literally bring it to our backyard himself since it was clearly going to be a struggle getting the box to fit in our car. GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SALE!…read more My husband and I visited the store a couple of weeks ago to check out their going out of business sale. Unfortunately, they weren't really having a sale but simply raised some of the prices so that it would appear to have been drastically reduced. We had visited the store just two weeks prior to the sale so we had photos of the "pre-sale" prices still in our camera. I absolutely abhor dishonesty and when you have a quality, well established business why not go out on top? Why not just have an honest sale where you are just reducing prices and not pretending to "slash" prices"? I understand their desire to get as much as possible for their items but it should be done so honestly and ethically. I thought it was interesting that when I inquired about a very specific chair, the assistant offered to order it for me. Who orders furnishings from a business that is going out of business? That actually defies logic because if there is a problem, it becomes YOUR problem. If you are looking for a true "going out of business" sale where prices are significantly reduced, try another store or just wait it out!
