As I approached the key stand to get some keys cut, there were two employees ready to help. Shout-out to super-friendly Sahil for proactively asking me about my keys as soon as I pulled them out of my pocket. She let me know what my options were and I chose to have three standard keys cut at $2.98 each. Three total rang up to $9.74 after tax. Sahil told me this is the "fun" Ace Hardware and I could see why. The staff trended younger and more "hip." I'm a fan of Ace Hardware in general because each store feels like a small, local, and unique business. This one especially so. It's popular among locals with a strong sense of neighborhood and community. And, like other city Ace Hardware stores, it was densely-packed with all sorts of useful hardware and garden items. If you've never visited this location before, be sure to check out the beautiful plant room. They have a good selection of plants and a big wall of seeds. They even sell King of Pops here. Limited free parking is available on-site. I visited during a peak time and was able to snag a spot. If no spots are available, just park on Drewry St NE (also free). The doors are beautiful. However, the installation process has been an absolute nightmare. CR has made 6 trips to the house and the doors still aren't installed correctly. One installer didn't predrill the holes before installing the support brackets and that resulted in all of the interior trim being pulled off the wall, which had to be repainted at my expenses. Another installer came back to install vinyl trim and he installed white instead of the brown we ordered to match the doors. See pic. When CR sent another installer to replace the white trim with the brown trim, the installer left large gaps between the trim and the house. See pic. The materials used to hide the nails and screws fell off within a few hours of installation. See pic. The installer says the garage doors come equipped with free cameras but he wasn't willing to set up the cameras so we could start using them. The brown vinyl trim used for the replacement had white paint marks on it. See pic. I should have paid the extra $1500 to go with the local mom and pop business who would've knocked out this project in one shot. Lesson learned.

They told me to contact a non-existent eBay "comprehensive online portal", then stopped responding to my phone calls and emails. Based on the other Yelp reviews, it appears that this company's business involves selling reduced price bargains that may well have some type of damage. Local customers shopping at this store in person may know about Building Liquidator's "buyer beware" approach to discounted goods, but I bought the mower from them from hundreds of miles away on eBay; it was listed as "new, in the box" and I had no idea that it might have some kind of problem. When the box arrived, it had clearly been opened and resealed. I suspect now that the mower may have been a return from another customer, perhaps because of the same malfunction, and that Building Liquidators then passed it on to me. Their handling of this situation doesn't speak well for their company's customer service. I'm disputing the charges with my credit card company. Customers should be aware that their state's consumer protection laws or credit card company's policies may offer them additional protection, regardless of what any particular company's policies may state.
