He is not paying subcontractors and now I have 3 liens on my property totaling more than is left on the contract with more than double that amount of work to be completed. His emails are extremely unprofessional, threatening and degrading. Subs that are owed money state that 1, they can't get a hold of him or 2 he says he's not paying. He claims the liens are illegal but provides no evidence on how he is making it right. There are many items we have already paid for and have not received such as AC's. This is a nightmare. Save yourself the agony.

I had water leaks and damage in my existing home because they failed to cover up their work. I have a lien placed on my home for materials not even used on my job. The framing did not pass inspection. they used the wrong straps, wrong screws did not follow instructions on how to repair a broken truss in which instructions were clearly written on how to do so by the TRUSS company that delivered the package. He lingers the job to the last day of the contract. The employees he had come out are not people you want around your house. They stole the materials I paid for, that he promised to leave once the job was done. RUN As fast as you can from the company. He is also doing business as build it better. He knows how to misrepresent his work and hides his manipulation through all his wording in the contract. I will be complaining to the attorney general, the FTC, the BBB, the consumer services and any company he represented his self to be. He is a homeowner's worst nightmare and people like this don't deserve a working man's or women's hard earned money. They are costing me more and more money as time goes by.

To that dejean said we need to go our separate ways, Please find someone else and I said OK. But he did say that they are installing granite countertops in the Villages. That is how little they value thier customers. Oh and never pay them anything up front, never, never! When the work is all done, and done correctly, then pay. They were trying to scam me. They kept trying billing me for the rest of the money BEFORE the work was done. I said, when the work is done. In fact I should not have even paid the $250. I can imagine if I had paid them the remaining $360 before they finished. I bet they would have bailed too and stolen the $360. Oh and they left a mess too. dejean wanted to dump some left over paint on the ground! I said no, it needs to be disposed of properly. He said that everyone does this. Well anyone who takes shortcuts and does not care will do this. Yeah, they take short cuts and break environmental laws too. Oh they gave me the business so I am letting everyone know. STAY AWAY.

I had observed none recently. On further investigation, I did have a serious wastewater backup. I suspected that it was due to Comcast installing fiber optics in the neighborhood, drilling in the area of water/sewer pipes. So, the rest of the afternoon, Hunter worked with a camera and an auger to locate the blockage. He located it, but it was the lateral under my neighbor's driveway, which needed to be resolved by the utility company. Hunter asked me to let him know the outcome. It turned out to be a big deal. Indeed, the clay pipe was broken by Comcast's subcontractor drilling to install fiber duct. So, I knew there would be finger-pointing the like. I got it resolved, after a call to the PSC and a lot of back-and-forth. Sunshine Water sucked out the sewer and repaired the cracked pipe. I texted Hunter when the repair was complete, sending him photos of the cracked Clay pipe. I had shared his report with Sunshine Water, which gave them confidence in locating the break. This was very helpful because they couldn't get a camera in there due to the pipe being full of *(**&*&*. After I texted Hunter, he called me to ask how it went. I gave him the lowdown. In my long experience with home repair contractors and service companies, I have rarely encountered employees like Hunter. He left a job with loose ends beyond his control, but he cared enough about the job to want to know how it was resolved. Please thank him for me. And if I need plumbing services in the future, Modern Plumbing Industries is who I'll be dealing with. They're straight shooters, they communicate, they show up, and they have employees who give a damn. Thanks for staying family-owned!

I had my inspector and a mold inspector tell me there was a leak in the master closet. I am under contract in this townhome so you can see why that would worry me. The townhome's owner had ACI come and assess the leak. Roy the owner is the one who did the inspection, he wrote in the report there are no active leaks and that the roof is in good condition. I called him to clarify because the other two professions had mentioned a leak, I wanted to be sure this was not anything that a prospective buyer should worry about. He sternly explained that he comes to this building every other week that there are multiple leaks and he's been telling them to replace it but no one wants to. You can see how that raised a major red flag on my side. I talk to my realtor who calls Roy herself and apparently he was talking about a different unit. Weird. Well I call him today to ask if he can please write me something saying that either my roof is in good or poor condition so that I can negotiate price while I am still under contract. He answered the phone by saying "do not call me I want nothing to do with you you are a liar" I stated that I was told it was a misunderstanding about the wrong unit. He didn't want to hear anything I had to say and wouldn't let me speak. Very unfortunate the way his business is handled. He doesn't care about his customers and certainly has no respect for them the way he was talking to me. Left me in tears and frustrated as I do not know what to do about my roofing situation for the townhome I am buying.

When the roof was installed the person putting in the screws put 2 screws right next to each other for reasons unknown. One of the screws ripped out looking like it was shot with a 22. That's how big the hole was. We asked her to check out the whole roof she found a few things that weren't done and should have been. They were very well priced and took care of it ASAP.
