Great view with very good food. Didn't like that use of plastics with a recycling bin. Bathrooms for small and I noticed a wheelchair bound person struggling unsuccessfully. Great lemonades and teas. The shrimp tacos were some of the better I've had.

Such a cute beach side deli. From the moment we walked in we were relaxed and knew it was going to be a good experience. The woman who took our order was so lovely and helpful. I had the Elotes Loco shrimp tacos. So fresh with a nice little spicy. My wife had the chipotle lime chicken tacos. She asked for the sauce on the side which was a good thing. If you don't like spicy I would ask for the sauce on the side. If you are ok with some spice then keep the sauce on. Both dishes were fantastic! We will be making this a regular spot for sure.

Wish I could give 10 stars. Whoever thought of the Choriba Dog needs an Academy Award. Food was fresh, hot and presented well. Service was phenomenal and even though the place only had three staff and they were kinda packed, we got our food lightning fast with substitutes correct. The ambiance was chill family friendly and coastal fare.

The Coastal Thirst Beach Deli is the place to stop for a casual breakfast or lunch if you're at the Yorktown Beach or in the general area. They've opened in Larry's Lemonade old spot and have big plans for an outdoor expansion in the future. I stopped by for lunch one afternoon to check it out and was surprised at the variety of options: burgers, hotdogs, burritos, salads, flatbreads and homemade bakery items among other things. I opted for a chicken burrito bowl... it was delicious! This is an order at the counter and make your own drink style set up that seems to be increasingly popular in the area. The owner was working the counter and was super friendly and helpful answering all my questions.... always a plus on the first visit. Parking was a little tricky but there's a couple lots within walking distance if you can't find a spot right in front. I plan on heading back to try breakfast one morning; check out the menu, sounds fantastic and if all else fails there's nothing better than a piece of cheesecake and a coffee to start the day!

Great vibe, decor and most of all food and drink. I have been a long time fan of Costal Thirst through farmers market visits. Huge lines in recent year have sometimes interfered with my desire for amazing Raw Fresh Squeezed Juice and Avocado Toast. Alas!! In now able to be the sole person in line, and enjoy them both on a sunless Sunday morning. Thanks Costal Th

The Brekkie bowl was delicious. Coffee was good. Nice chill atmosphere, beautiful view.

Best service, food, and breakfast tacos I've ever had. Cozy, cute, and fresh juices. We try to go here often.

Great quesadilla. Lunch with a great view of the York river on Water Street in Yorktown village. Try it, you'll like it.

My wife had the Stack wedge with fried chicken and loved it. I had the triple threat tacos..LOL. 1 fried chicken taco, 1 fried oyster taco, 1 pork taco. The service was friendly and very informative, which was nice as we made decisions. The ambience was also excellent; we sat outside, but would've been happy to sit inside in the lively dining room. The standout dish of the meal was the baked Chincoteague clams. These were flavored with Thai green curry and were excellent bites. The smoked pork taco was also very much a stand out, the smoked flavors contrasted well with the freshness and it relief belt as if this taco provided bang for buck. The other dishes were well executed. A crab gazpacho with grape and other aromatic flavors as the base was well done but there was not much crab and so did not feel as if it was a particularly worthwhile dish to get. The grape flavor was also somewhat too prominent for my liking, but the dish was refreshing and light as promised. The brussels sprouts were solid but not particularly memorable. The oyster taco was slightly overburdened by slaw and proved somewhat more tangy than what was called. I would definitely come back for the clams and the smoked pork taco and would be interested to taste the raw preparations as well as the fried chicken taco next time.

She appeared more interested in getting back to her phone than engaging with customers. When I asked for a different bottle because the one I received had an unusual mark on it, she seemed annoyed by my request. I had recently experienced food poisoning from Taco Bell, so I was simply being cautious about my health. I don't think that concern was treated with understanding. Jennifer also appeared to be annoyed when I mentioned to another customer that I was waiting for her to hand me some lids. I wasn't trying to be rude or disrespectful I was simply explaining why I was waiting. Her reaction and facial expressions made me feel like she assumed I was being negative, which was frustrating. Throughout the interaction, her facial expressions came across as annoyed and unwelcoming. Overall, the interaction didn't feel welcoming. I can't speak about the male employee as much because when I did have an interaction with him previously he was helpful for the most part, but based on my experiences, I believe the cashiers could improve their friendliness, patience, and customer service. Customers should feel comfortable asking questions or expressing concerns without feeling like they are inconveniencing the staff.

The birria taco was crispy and held up nicely even after several dunks in the consomé. **We spent about $31.18 for two orders of birria tacos (three per order), $3.09 for a Coke, and $4 for an agua fresca (guava). The guava one was okay but nothing can top their strawberry kiwi agua fresca. No. 1 Taco remains a must-have when in VB. I have yet to find something close to it on the peninsula.

I had 3 people in front of me in line and it didn't take long at all for me to reach the register and place my order. I wasn't that hungry but wanted to try the food out, so I got a Truth flounder taco for $4.95. The food was made quickly and tasted good! Bro's Fish Tacos has about six signature sauces which looked good, but unfortunately, they all have dairy in them, so I asked for the mayo based tartar sauce instead. While all the signature sauces have dairy in them, I appreciated that they stated that fact on their menu beside where their sauces were listed. I wish I had come about an hour later in the day because, after ordering, I learned that they have a happy hour from 3 to 5:30 each day where The Truth Taco is $3.50 and other dishes are cheaper as well. Some street fries were ordered for the table, and I had fished out about 5 fries without the sauce (because I figured there was a dairy sauce and cheese on top) and the fries were really tasty as well! The atmosphere inside is very fun and bright with huge glass garage door windows letting light in and colorful paintings of animals on the walls. If you have sensitivity to noise, know that they keep the music volume pretty low, but since the restaurant is right on the boulevard and has large glass windows, you're likely going to hear some noisy cars drive by. Overall, I had a good experience and would come here again, especially on a Tuesday, Sunday or after 3pm since that's when they have the best deals (which I appreciate)!

The staff is always welcoming here, and one of the things we appreciate most is the consistency. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, the food is reliably fresh, flavorful, and served with a smile. After a rather indulgent lunch, we decided to keep dinner light and split the Chicken Taco Salad along with a small quesadilla. The taco salad arrived in a crisp tortilla bowl piled high with seasoned chicken, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and plenty of melted cheese. The quesadilla was nicely toasted with tender chicken and gooey cheese, while the creamy refried beans rounded out the meal perfectly. Everything was simple, satisfying, and prepared with care. If you're looking for authentic Mexican street food, friendly service, and generous portions at a fair price, La Hacienda continues to deliver. It's the kind of dependable neighborhood restaurant that earns repeat visits, and we'll certainly be back.
