The chalupas were burnt and hardly had any meat in both of them The chicken was good but when I mentioned that it was overly fried the man behind the counter did not care at all and just looked at me. The other taco was a chicken mole and it wasn't bad but for most street tacos they give you two tortillas to hold it all together. Only one and it all fell apart. Will not be returning!

The dish relies really heavily on jalapeño for flavor and freshness, and I like jalapeño, but these woud be more appropriately described as "jalapeño and cheese on chips" than nachos, IMO. If you love raw jalapeño you'll be in heaven but for those who are accustomed to jalapeños being an accent, this is A LOT. It was like the primary ingredient after chips, even above cheese. All in all, it's fine if you're in the area and want tacos or need food with your beer but is it somewhere I would go out of my way to visit? Probably not.

The hostess was friendly and seated us by a window with a great view. Our server, Jessica S., was fantastic--friendly, upbeat, attentive, and genuinely made our visit enjoyable. An unexpected bonus was that we happened to be seated next to her parents, who were having lunch there as well. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. I wish I had come about an hour later in the day because, after ordering, I learned that they have a happy hour from 3 to 5:30 each day where The Truth Taco is $3.50 and other dishes are cheaper as well. Some street fries were ordered for the table, and I had fished out about 5 fries without the sauce (because I figured there was a dairy sauce and cheese on top) and the fries were really tasty as well! The atmosphere inside is very fun and bright with huge glass garage door windows letting light in and colorful paintings of animals on the walls. If you have sensitivity to noise, know that they keep the music volume pretty low, but since the restaurant is right on the boulevard and has large glass windows, you're likely going to hear some noisy cars drive by. However, ordering for pick-up today, it seemed chaotic upon arrival. Staff were calling orders/names, but much of the food sitting was not for anyone there. I placed my order in advance (1:41 p.m.) so it would already be done when I arrived (about a 15-minute drive), but did not receive my food until well after 2:20 p.m. This restaurant on food alone would receive 5-stars from me, but due to today's wait, I'd have to leave it at 4-stars. If I were dining-in, I would not mind waiting for the food, but for a pickup order and my family waiting in the car for an order that was supposed to be ready, it was a bit disappointing. I've seen some restaurants shut down delivery services during peak restaurant service times so they can focus on customers, or vice versa. It takes a great deal of balance to manage both sides effectively. Otherwise, I highly recommend the food!!
