They have a great selection of men's and women's swimsuits and apparel, as well as accessories for the surfer (or wannabe surfer) in all of us. I was very impressed with the sale section, as well. My boyfriend got a really cool multicolored pair of swim trunks for only like 20 bucks marked down from 45 bucks. Not a bad deal! The selection is much smaller than Island Surf & Skate, but you can't beat the easy walking access as it is part of a section of town with lots of shops and attractions. Ellis, the employee that was working, provided excellent customer service, and was knowledgeable, pleasant, and all around made the experience of shopping at Breakwater Surf very much worthy of a 5 star review!

The way peeps are tied is nonfunctional and easily moved, Cable driven arrow rest cords are just tied right to the cable instead of being spliced in and served. I would imagine string changes are being done without a drawboard because none of these bows are in time and they aren't checking the work being done. The bow I saw yesterday had 10+ degrees of cam lean and a cable making contact with the cam after getting it back from F&F. Giving a customer their bow back when the cable is rubbing against the cam is straight up dangerous; If you can't identify an issue like that and communicate it to the customer you shouldn't be pressing bows. Most of the store is actually filled with clothes. Again the usual boating shoes and coats but lots of neat t-shirts, sweat shirts and hats. Surprising the prices are actually reasonable. The store also has a nice selection of books about the history of Jamestown and the surrounding area. The people working there were extremely friendly and took the time to answer some dumb questions I had. A nice place for not only boating items but also gifts for anyone interesting in the history of Rhode Island.
