Update 12/11/24. Spoke to Jeannine, asked where my refund is. She said they had to wait for insurance claims to be paid. I reminded her that they already have been paid. She put me on hold a few times and then said I'd get it in 4-6 weeks. I asked for the billing phone number. It's a 3rd party billing company. Spoke to them and was told there has not been any request from CoasTherapy for my refund. If I had just trusted this woman and waited yet another 4-6 weeks, I'd never have received it. This place is shady shady shady. I had to do their job by contacting this 3rd party billing company and put in the request myself since they would not do it. Now I wait another 4-6 weeks to get MY money back. Money they should have never taken in the first place. Jeannine claims she "just doesn't know how things work". Wow. Maybe they should hire some competent people to work on things like this? Update 11/26/2024: Still no contact from this place. All insurance claims have been paid to them. I called yesterday and the person was conveniently not there. Left message. Still no call back. They are still keeping my 225.00. Regardless of how great their PT's are. Do you want them stealing your money?? Let me start off by saying the physical therapists here are fantastic! I loved them all. I loved coming here. Everyone talks to each other (patients/staff) in this group setting. They really care for their patients and I was seeing definite results. Why am I giving it only two stars? I had 30 approved visits from my insurance. No copay. The front desk woman, Kim, argued on my first day that I DID have a $25 coppay. I wanted to get treated so I paid. I was going three days a week and after 9 visits in, my explanation of benefits started rolling in from my insurance. It clearly showed no copay was due. I paid at this point a total of $225 in copays. My insurance company called them and and said I should get my incorrectly charged copays refunded. They said no. Can you believe it? They said I had to finish treatment. Why? They took the copays in error yet refuse to refund them. Then they said my insurance hasn't paid the claims. I then provided the payment numbers and dates paid for the first 7 claims they have submitted, so that statement was a LIE The other are in process. I quit. It's now been over a week and no contact. No one has called. No one has followed up. No money refunded. They owe me $225.00. What a shady way to run a business and it sucks because the PT's are the best. And if anyone there wants to contact me about the money you owe me, I'm waiting!! read more

They billed for service from the professional staff and the line staff, then, after several appointments, I was only serviced by the line staff. I asked for copies of their notes. A man I had never met was writing them. I requested a meeting with the manager. She refused to meet, saying she would look into it. After waiting a week, I asked her again. She said she could find no evidence of such reports ( I have copies). Within minutes, she had assigned a professional staff. No more trust, no return. read more

I love this place. I have an unstable shoulder that's been bugging me for years. I'm only a few weeks into therapy with Scott and Jamie and I'm already noticing a big difference. I had a medial meniscus tear that happened from doing a deep body weight squat. On my first visit the physical therapist spent about 10 minutes with me. After that, I never spoke with her again until I had re-injured my meniscus. Their tech put me in a machine that required me to do a weighted full flexion exercise. Meaning I had to get into a deep squat (which was weighted) to do the exercise. My knee is now worse than when I came there. This is obviously not the tech's fault, or even the head PT's fault; this is the owner's fault. Your head PT, whose name I do not know (it was a female), should have came to me the moment I told the tech I hurt myself and there was obvious swelling. I believe the owner is someone named Kathy, who I still have not received a call from. If they do decide to call, I will update this review because to me that says that they care about their business. By the way, this was my second time in the office. The first tech I worked with did a good job and I could tell he knew what he was doing. The most troubling thing out of the whole experience was when I actually re-injured my meniscus and it started swelling the head PT (which I believe was the only PT there) did not come see me. I highly recommend you do not patronize this business. UPDATE: Kathy called me the following morning, a apologized and set me up with a new PT in different location. Sometimes things go wrong in business and the fact that she called and made it right is awesome. Looking forward to my session tomorrow. No matter the PT office you visit, you should always be seen by a licensed PT on every visit, not just a tech/PTA. I let her know this was not happening at this location. read more

The Cryotherapy chamber at CoastTherapy was different than what I expected, in a good way. The staff was extremely thorough in explaining the benefits, and what to do before, during and after the process so I was more comfortable. Plus it being electric and not gas operated eased my mind too. My daily neck and back pain was unidentifiable for several days following 1 treatment and the 2nd session was even more relieving. This place is great! When we went down for PGF nationals they went above and beyond treating our girls with the most attentive staff. When I asked questions, they were more than willing to explain and were courteous. Therapy were detailed and thorough with a human approach. Having been to a chiropractor up north, this place most definitely achieve more with healing my girls than the multiple visits with the chiropractor. I recently "graduated" from CoasTherapy after almost 3.5 years of physical therapy for a Frozen Shoulder. When I started at CoasTherapy, bending my arm mere inches above my waist was extremely painful! Jaime's patience and gentleness started me on my long road toward recovery (even at this point, she estimated it might take 3 years to recover!). Because of my work schedule, I had to switch to Victor. His patience, gentleness, empathy, knowledge, and quirkiness got me through some periods of dark despair (when will this ever be over!?!) and made my weekly "pain & torture" sessions something to look forward to rather than dread. Well.. After a unexpected turn this morning with severe shoulder pain i have been diagnosed as having Bilateral bicipital tendinitis and rotator cuff tendinitis. What an amazing surprise this was. I wasn't sure this was really going to be an effective therapy, and was amazed! As a person with autoimmune issues I have had noticeable relief from discomfort as well as increased vitality. I was basically sedentary for two years due to my condition, and was able to do a stationary bike after only two treatments! So thrilled to start feeling better.
