This tub is 47 degrees. The warmest one today. I'm getting there

Wow! I love coming here. Everyone is very welcoming. Chris took a lot of time to explain things to me. I'm new to cold plunges. But man, do they make the body feel good. I've been paying plunge but considering getting a membership because I want this to be a part of my life

    After a 30 min session!

I only take the time to write reviews when I have unforgettable experiences. Here is a quick one. Background: My 13 year son plays football and is constantly experiencing muscle aches in his legs. We have tried everything from massage, to sports therapy, compression boots, stretch lab, etc. Our experience: Wow! One session that was facilitated by a gentleman named D who is also a partner there was game changing. The effects: My son felt better and crushed it on the field during his game the next day. We now book a session before each game!

I've been hearing a lot of good things about hot and cold therapy and how it can have a huge impact on your mental and physical health. Decided to challenge myself and check out Meta Labs cold plunge to see what it's all about. Upon entering, I was really impressed with the decor and layout, it was very clean and inviting. At the time they had 2 cold tubs, a hot tub and a sauna. I expressed to the owner that it was my first time, he was so gracious and informative - he prepped me on what to expect and showed me some breathing techniques to get over the initial shock of getting in the freezing water. Holy moly I never thought I'd be able to last a single second but I managed to plunge 3 times that day ranging from 30 something seconds to almost 2 mins. It was invigorating and I felt so renewed afterwards! I definitely recommend checking this place out, you won't regret it. The sauna and hot tub were an added bonus. Thanks so much for the experience Meta Labs! I'll be back!!

A MUST the plunge is the best way to start the day to go after it. The benefits are immense from increased energy, testosterone boost, mental clarity and my favorite part Recovery. I've tried countless of methods for my injuries and nothing work better than the contrast therapy. Highly suggest to try it out.

I took my mom here to try out cold plunging. She just came back from a trip that was in Quebec. After hours on the plane back to California, I thought this would be a nice Christmas experience for us. I have c6 and c7 cervical neck probs/used to climb and my mom works hard with her hands at work soldering micro chips. We both needed a little break from our aches and this was quite the experience. Overall, I learned from the great team here that breathing is a great focus getting in and staying in the plunge, pushing through to stay in longer feels accomplishing, and coming out refreshed is amazing. They also have a stone sauna and hot soak we couldn't get out of! Definitely an experience you need to check off.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff that made me feel at home. I walked in with muscle aches and pain, walked out feeling amazing! Helped tremendously with muscle recovery. Strongly recommended.

Chris and Danny were very helpful. The place is nice and clean. I've been looking for a cold plunge spot for a while so I was happy to see this place opened right up around the corner. The cold plunge therapy is great for soreness in my joints and muscles, but it is also a great mental exercise. Plus it really wakes you up. Straight vibin afterwards.

I also like that they put a welcome card with my name on it right next to the towel on the bench inside the sauna booth, I didn't get that in CM. The parking here is super easy, they have plenty of parking spaces, unlike the one CM, their parking is pretty limited. There was only one attendant and she was late opening up. My appointment was at 8:15 and I didn't get to speak to her until 8:17 and didnt get into the sauna until 8:25. Not a big deal but I actually booked a sauna session to go make weight and every minute counted. The attendant was nice but I could tell she felt overwhelmed. The sauna room itself was nice - an individual tv with bluetooth attached - and decently clean space. However, since I was the first of the day - the sauna was only at 130 and by the time I left, only got up to 140 with capabilities to get up to 170. Would not go back.

It's been a long time since I've been to the K-spa or Korean spa/bathhouse…read more This was my first time at this location, which is near the Diamond Jamboree plaza. I got the body scrub and massage for $135 since it includes admission, which is normally $40. Prior to the service, they recommend you soak in the hot pool for approximately 20-30 minutes. The facility is separated with a women's and men's area, and once you enter, you pay for your admission or service, put your things into the locker, strip naked, and head to the shower area where you are required to shower before you do anything. For just the admission alone, you get access to a variety of saunas, hot and cold pools, a steam room, and a common area with heated floors for relaxation. You get a time limit of 6 hours, which is way more than enough. At my appointment time, the workers, who are dressed in black bras and panties, call out your number (which is also your locker key number) and you head to the service area. The woman scrubbed off my dead skin for 30 minutes while applying a quick 5 minute facial mask, then had me shower off and come back. Next, she applied oil all over my body and gave me a mini massage which basically just loosened a few of my knots in my shoulder and back area. It was not really relaxing, but I only care about the results. :) Then she poured some type of warm milk all over my body, and poured some into my hand to wash my face with. She also shampooed my hair at the end... and I was asked to shower off my body again. I then headed to the common area where the co-ed saunas were and tried out the Salt room, the Forest room, Ondol room, Fire Room, and Ice Room for a short period. I spent a total of about 3 hours there with the service time included. Since I was short on time, I will get another service in the future, but come earlier to use the sauna rooms first, maybe try out their on-site restaurant, then get my service at the end and go home from there. I really enjoyed this day of pampering at the Korean spa. I just wished the guests weren't all on their phones and being loud. People were having full on conversations in the common area and whispering loudly in the sauna rooms. Technology has somewhat changed the Korean spa experience for me, which used to be more relaxing... but this was still great for the price. Happy spa day! Yelp Review #43- 2026

From a 4 to a 2.5 stars…read more I came here recently to relax for a few hours, get some reading done, get a massage, and dine in their kitchen. They have raised their admission prices several times in the last 2 years. Upon arrival, I was contemplating on getting a massage or not and decided not to and instead just used my pre-purchased admission ticket. I would say the best thing here is their dining area. They have a good selection of Korean food and drinks including smoothies, juices, and even boba. I usually get their almond milk tea. My favorite food choices would be the tofu soup with seafood only (yes, you can ask for no beef) or the burnt bibimbap bowl with all the veggies and yes, you can also ask for a fully cooked egg instead of a Sunnyside up if you don't like runny eggs. My meal with a drink usually comes out to $26. The reason why I am lowering my rating is because their standing shower area stinks. For the last couple of times I've been here, that area smells either like mold or a sewer issue. Secondly, I witnessed one of their shower massage employees (they wear black tops and bottoms) use the restroom and left without washing her hands. Yes, she is a masseuse who doesn't wash her hands after using the toilet. I would never book any type of massage here based on that fact alone. One more thing, i also saw 2 women get into an argument. I was in a dry sauna room with 2 other females already there. One female came in and confronted someone else who was trying to relax for not picking up her towels in the other room. The lady who got confronted acted like she didn't speak English so the argument was brief. However, the lady who did the confronting called her a stupidass before walking away. LOL I'm laughing about it now but honestly it is suppose to be relaxing environment and chasing someone down over towels when you don't even work here is a bit much. Not very relaxing. I have 2 admission tickets left to use but after that I most likely won't be purchasing a packet again. This place doesn't have a luxury feel to it like it used to.

Having booked the service, we were allowed to utilize the amenities located in the spa. In order to get to the spa (if you're not staying in the hotel), you had to drive into the front entrance of the hotel. This is located on the side opposite of PCH. The only real option to park is through valet service which the spa takes care of as part of the cost of the service. Our massages were booked for 2pm but we arrived around 11:30am to have lunch and enjoy the amenities. The food was pretty good and the servings were plentiful. We got a chicken Cesar wrap and the charcuterie board. You're able to eat and have the food brought over just like you were ordering room service, it was definitely room service cost and they charged for delivery to the garden. After we finished eating, we lounged in the garden to catch some sun. This is the part where I say that it almost fit the bill... the weather loved tents providing shade had mold on the canvas. Maybe it was just weather warn because it does stay outside all year round? Not sure but I'm thinking that it definitely looked like mold to me. After the sun, we enjoyed the indoor amenities of steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. For me, there a few other patrons enjoying the amenities but my boyfriend said that he pretty much had the men's locker room all to himself. My favorite part about the amenities was the shower. The shower had a rainfall shower, a handheld shower and then several steam shower heads on three of the walls. The products in the shower smelled great and I would definitely use them again. For our massages, we have the couples suite. The room was absolutely gorgeous complete with 2 massage tables, 2 sinks, a gorgeous tub, 2 separate showers this beautiful stone piece on the far wall. Massages were great and relaxing. After the massages, our massage therapists led us out to the garden again to pretty much recover from the service and it was definitely needed. Upon checking it out from our service, we perused the gift shop. There were cute clothing pieces there as well as the products that were utilized as part of some of the services. When paying, they let us know that the gratuity was already covered in the cost so that was nice. Given the cost for each service, I thought it was a generous but also fair tip. Because we finished late afternoon, we decided to walk down to the pier and venture around there. We were able to keep the car there and the hotel bellman allowed us to store our gym bags in the hotel as well, all at no extra cost. If I was looking to splurge again, I would probably come back. What would sweeten the deal is if we were able to use the hotel pool too but they said that it is only allowed during the weekdays when the pool isn't too busy.
