First time getting a haircut here, and honestly had the best haircut experience of my life with Taylor. Surprised this place only has 20 reviews up to now, but really happy I ended up trying it out for a last minute haircut before leaving for vacation. I've been to other shops nearby that had over 100 reviews; most of the time I'd end up with a barber with an attitude and feel like they're rushing me out to get to their next customer. So I stopped going out for haircuts and was more satisfied cutting my own hair at home and saving the money. Taylor was the total opposite vibe. He asked questions throughout the haircut and explained what he was doing. I learned a ton from just one haircut about my own hair and head shape. And the things he recommended were spot on to fix things I've been struggling to get right at home and even with other barbers. I also thought my hair was just too thin on top to have anymore volume vs how it was in my 20's. But with a more balanced cut and a little styling, Taylor got my hair looking way more full than it's been in years. This review might sound like too much, but I'm just really happy with my haircut and my wife really likes it too, so I want to make sure to give Taylor full credit. My friend was looking for a quick cut on a nearby barbershop yesterday. Their website says to make an appointment but we walked-in and thankfully they were nice enough to accomodate us. Taylor was our barber and he really went above and beyond with the haircut. He constantly asked about the things you wanted for your cut and really got into the specifics. We opted for a low-taper cut with a messy mid-part and he got it on point. I truly appreciate that Taylor was always looking out in the middle of the session if my friend was ok with the cut. We brought a picture reference too. Their area is also clean and they used some Dyson products and he finished off the haircut with sea salt spray. There is ample parking in the front and some parking across the bowling area. The shop itself has a cool and cozy vibe to it. It wasn't very busy and the staff are really good people. Was referred from a buddy of mine to try this place out. He gave me the number of one of the workers named Taylor who took care of him. I messaged Taylor about questions I had about the beard and hair services. He replied in a professional manner and asked for pictures, and gave me recommendations. During my visit, Taylor is very outgoing, knows what he talking about and recommends a style that is shaped for your head. You obviously don't need to go with that, but it's great hear other people's suggestions. I chose to go with his recommendation and turns out the fiancé approved. My bf needed a long overdue trim and went in for a cut in the reference photo attached. His hair was originally down to his shoulders. We went in and they cut so much hair off. I noticed the guy kept cutting and cutting and by the time I realized, I couldn't even recognize my bf they left him looking like a little boy. Although it's a decent cut I think they don't do well with longer hair and mostly do fades/tapers ect...so beware of that when booking. read more

I've been looking for a barber that can do a fade, beard fade/trim and scissor cut and I got to say I found one. It's often very hard for someone that can do all 3. Omar did an exceptional job. Haircut I usually get the top trimmed with some shear scissor work to lighten the cut and Omar did a great job getting it right Fade This is one of the best fades I've ever gotten hands down. There are no lines that can be seen, this is a perfect blend. Looks printed. 5/5. Beard As a healthy bearded man my beard is important to me. I got my beard trimmed and faded. I like to keep the original beard line so it looks good even when it grows back and Omar was able to do that 5/5. Booking and scheduling Finally a barber shop that has a modernized scheduling system. I was able to choose my haircut and book my appointment with a few single clicks on their website. This appointment synced into my iPhone calendar and is now recurring. After spending alot of time researching different barber shops for my son, a few people recommended Coastline. I went ahead and called the shop to schedule an appt and the process was extremely easy. They were able to take us in same day. Which was amazing! We were helped by Taylor. I cannot recommend him enough! He was so amazing with my son, who had extremely long, thick curly hair. After growing it out for 2 years he wanted someone to give him a good buzz. Haven't had a haircut in almost 3 years wasn't sure how it would turn out. Nate was awesome! He was very friendly, I wasn't sure how I wanted my hair however he was honest with me on what will look great. Durning the haircut he was very friendly and kept the conversation going, felt like we been friends for years. Nate knew what he was doing and turned out great! I absolutely love how my hair looks and would definitely recommend Nate and Omar's one month fresh barber shop for the freshest cuts you can get in the area. I had errands to run by their neighborhood and desperately needed a haircut. They are open on a Monday, so I called in for an appointment for the same day a few hours in advance. Booking process was super quick and easy; but I believe they have online booking available as well. Nate was my barber today and did an amazing job with his styling questions to find out what my vision was for the haircut. Very easy and nice guy to work with, you can tell he loves what he is doing. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that Nate was the former apprentice to my main guy Vik who formerly had a shop at Broadway, Burlingame (now located in Millbrae I think, super talented and cool dude he is).
