This use to be one of our favorite stops. I ordered the pumpkin loaf and as usual was outstanding. We got an Italian lemon cake and it was so dry and tasteless my wife threw it away. We got 2 melt away (round with powder sugar on it) and they lack a buttery flavor. We got a raspberry cookie and the same thing was it lacked a buttery flavor it should have had. We ordered 1 tuxedo cake slice, 1 eclair, and 1 chocolate cake slice. The chocolate was decent and moist. It seems like anything non chocolate didn't taste very well. Not sure if they are cutting back on some ingredients or going with a cheaper version, but it's starting to taste like it. Next trip to Half Moon bay we are going to try a different bakery. Not sure if they changed ownership but the taste is just not there anymore.
