You help yourself to their drip coffee and this morning, there were two options available: Costa Rican blend and French Roast. Unfortunately, my husband tried the CR blend and was not a fan so opted for the FR, which was great. My latte was just ok as far as lattes are concerned. They charge $1.75 for alternative milks which is a bit outrageous. However the bakery items were delicious. We also ordered two sandwiches. The fries that came with Philly steak was spicy and also non-crunchy. The sandwich itself was very tasty. I was very surprised to see bad reviews for this location. Don't believe everything you read. Cranky tourists aren't always accurate. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our coffees were made within minutes (much quicker than famous chains). The coffee was great! We tried hot, iced and blended and they were all delicious. Our food was fresh, hot and flavorful. The eggs Benedict was really good. Bacon and hash browns were crispy and cooked perfectly. There was plenty of indoor seating but we elected to eat outside in the fresh air and people watch. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte it was okay no hints of pumpkin or spices, but it kept me warm. The pumpkin pancakes were fluffy, moist, and the pecan syrup was delicious. Once again, no hints of pumpkin or spices. My friends ordered the California eggs Benedict and split the dish. It was a huge portion enough for two and they said it was delicious. Had a medium cappucino which was one third foam in the larger top half of a to go disposable cup (not requested). We sat at outside tables on a pleasant day so maybe that counts as to go. Our adult son went to use the bathrooms and was scolded away by the cleaner who said she had cleaned already and had closed it. I went in to check as I have a mobility issue and need to use a ground floor toilet and was screamed at by the cleaner when I moved past a barrier she had made with kids seats. It was still 30 minutes to closing. In addition a table was placed near the entrance to the toilets and would have made navigating a wheelchair in to the corridor impossible.
