Quick pit stop here on our way out of town, and back to Los Angeles. I ordered my usual oatmilk latte and my husband got drip coffee. You help yourself to their drip coffee and this morning, there were two options available: Costa Rican blend and French Roast. Unfortunately, my husband tried the CR blend and was not a fan so opted for the FR, which was great. My latte was just ok as far as lattes are concerned. They charge $1.75 for alternative milks which is a bit outrageous. However the bakery items were delicious. I got the funfetti Bundt cake and a mini apple streudel along with a snickerdoodle, all were very yummy and tasted fresh. The lady behind the counter was welcoming and friendly. The inside looks kind of like a diner setting, very casual.

We loved this place. I love brunch and their option of fried rice as a side sold me. You order at the counter and seat yourself. Staff will bring out your food and utensils. We got the eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, and bacon combo plate. Everything was very good. Good flavors and not too salty. No complaints. The restaurant is clean and lively. I will definitely be back when we are in the area

Yesterday we went back and shared the time melt on French roll! With a lemonade! The sandwich was very tasty! The service was friendly and the bathroom was available and clean! The restaurant had both inside and outside seats available! A nice touch! Several deserts available we have only tried special breads and cookies both have been good!

No nonsense diner / coffee shop with a large assortment of baked goods and hot food options. I stopped in for a large Americano which was about $4 and had a triple shot. My drink was made fresh and served up quick! The sitting area was very clean and service was helpful. The server walked me through a number of options and the ordering process as well which I appreciated. It's more unusual these days to see a restaurant sized establishment have counter service. Parking is ample and the location is convenient to HMB Main Street. I enjoyed taking my coffee to go and picking up another cup of Joe for the road

Have to stop in here every time I come to half Moon Bay. This place is the best portion size amazing. Usually I have to take half home. Everyone's always so friendly and welcoming here. You can also tell that they're familiar with their repeated customers seems like a nice local coffee shop with amazing food and service always feel welcomed here whether sitting inside or outside great place to set and enjoy the views of half Moon Bay

Looking for a spot with quality food, drinks, and space for a meeting and this place did not disappoint. Would come again! Service was friendly. Order at the counter. Menus are available at the front. Drink pickup is on the right side and they bring the food to you. Ample parking and lots of seating options. Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte - 5/5 - This is what I expect when ordering this, crisp matcha with a sweet strawberry jam. Ordered with a vanilla coldfoam as it was suggested and was feeling adventurous. Once mixed, it was delightful. The coldfoam didn't really add much as I tasted mostly the matcha strawberry. Breakfast Sandwich - 5/5 - this option was a make your own, which I appreciated. I got an Asiago bagel, scrambled eggs, avocado, bacon, pepper jack cheese and tomatoes. The sandwich came out piping hot and oozing cheese. The bagel was toasted but still really soft and fresh. Bacon was crispy. Expectations weren't high and this sandwich delivered! Minus one star as they forgot to bring out my friends "breakfast rice" and we had to remind them. Breakfast sandwich seemed like a good deal but other items appeared pricey (e.g., $20 for a benedict). Nonetheless, I would come back since I had an overall a positive experience!

Idk how this is not a five star joint honestly. It may be the locals trying to keep outsiders away lmao the food and coffee here is ALWAYS fresh and on point. You can never go wrong with a classic egg, meat bread combo and I will literally ride 40 minutes out of my way just to have breakfast here. LOVE THIS SPOT. The employees are always fantastic as well. Super friendly. Thank you guys

I used to go here a lot until I was diagnosed with celiac disease and couldn't have gluten anymore (bye breakfast fried rice :-( ) I didn't think I could eat here but I was with a group who went here so I asked for a patty melt without the bread and it worked out. - they just forgot the cheese but added it later.

We arrived on a Saturday noon. The place was packed. There was a line to give your order, and you can choose to sit inside or outside. The indoor sitting is a bit load but outside has view to the street and neighboring shops which was cool. I don't like places to ask you tip before even handing you the food, but this model seems to get more and more popular. We ordered cappuccino and pumpkin cake. The y both very good. We also ordered two sandwiches. The fries that came with Philly steak was spicy and also non-crunchy. The sandwich itself was very tasty. The southwestern wrap is basically omelette with chorizo and cheese which was tasty and delicious. Overall, it is a pretty good place, and we probably will go there again.

Brought the doggies who sit outside with us.

Breakfast Rice is the ticket. So to have an egg with it, i ordered the two egg breakfast w/toast. The breakfast rice has the bacon. I had a Pistachio Latte. Delish. Nice outside seating. It was drizzly Sunday morning but it was steadily busy.

I was very surprised to see bad reviews for this location. Don't believe everything you read. Cranky tourists aren't always accurate. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our coffees were made within minutes (much quicker than famous chains). The coffee was great! We tried hot, iced and blended and they were all delicious. Our food was fresh, hot and flavorful. The eggs Benedict was really good. Bacon and hash browns were crispy and cooked perfectly. There was plenty of indoor seating but we elected to eat outside in the fresh air and people watch. A great overall visit.

I love this local coffee place. They have sweet breads. And quiche. And little sandwiches. And house Made soup of the day. Of course, all kinds of coffees, and teas, and hot chocolate. And if you really need it some sodas and waters. Today's coffee for me was just a simple latte. A delicious one to be sure! I recommend when you order yours that you get it for consumption at Cafe Society, in a nice cup. Many times a month. They also have live music including jazz, and many other things. If you happen to play the piano, or have some sort of instrument you can bring with you, Cafe Society is also amenable to having you come in at the moment and entertain the crowd. There are two pianos on site., A pair of pianists who show up that wants to duel could probably do it. Separate rooms in the cafe. But that would make it all the more enjoyable for people sitting in the middle listening to a piano duel. And with the way the tables are arranged at the current time, access to electrical outlets at more than a couple of tables is available. So Cafe Society makes a great place for your day's adventure. Stop to enjoy a little recharge of both your body, and your devices. Their bathroom is always kept clean. Even to the point of letting your child go in alone. On any given day, there is parking within a reasonable walking distance, if not directly out in front. Cafe Society is located on Main Street in half Moon Bay. It's both easy to find, and easy to miss. So keep your eyes open. But if you do happen to miss it, they are located in the ground floor of the Odd Fellows Hall building. If you're looking up, look for the eyeball staring back at you at the roofline. Somewhat friendly during the daytime. Somewhat spooky at night But always an attention grabber. LOL I totally recommend Cafe Society and half Moon Bay. They've been around for a long time. There are many reasons for it. And those reasons are the motivation for my visits, again and again.

I got a cold brew and a hummus and olive salad here. Coffee was good, but I was not a fan of the salad. The hummus made the greens wilted, otherwise the rest of the dish would have been fine. Cool decor inside, the bathroom has stairs going into the ceiling and a door halfway up the wall which makes me wonder what the original purpose of the building was.
