    Nobody likes a party pooper
    Kyle C.

Service and the bar was upbeat, friendly and overall excellent from "Good Morning" bartender "P". Drinks were good. Wife had the Always Sunny which she enjoyed. Steak was well seasoned and cooked properly. I had the Asian BBQ, Nobody Likes a Party Pooper. Everything tasted pretty good but was all cool. NOTHING came out hot. Not sure how they try to keep the ribs and pork belly warm but it wasn't working. And not sure why the egg roll and potstickers were cool. Nice relaxed, comfortable atmosphere at the bar.

Great atmosphere with fun decorations everywhere you look. Great service. Great selection Good prices. We enjoyed a few cocktails which were good. Hard to decide what to order. We started with the short rib fries which were delish shared between four people. Enjoyed the salmon special, but did not enjoy the pickled bamboo shoots, weird taste to me. Everything else was delish! Good times. Great outdoor area once the weather gets nicer.

    The OG

I keep telling people to check out Talbot's! Had my annual dinner at the bar here last night. I always get the OG, filet is always cooked properly (medium rare) to my liking. They have killer mashed Yukon gold potatoes. I got the bourbon maple carrots as a side. I did the scallops appetizer, the sauce was the bomb. I went with a Modelo bottle, since the $8-$9 price tag for crafts is a bit steep IMO (that's my only complaint here). Bartenders & servers are always friendly. If you were coming at prime time expect to wait! I arrived on a Friday around 4:30 and by 5 o'clock, there were people waiting up to an hour to get a table. They have a great outdoor patio & backyard space too. This restaurant is off the beaten path for sure, but well worth your time. The artwork is awesome too.

Has been awhile since I've been here. Was in the area and figured let's try it. Was not disappointed. We both had the Fish Sandwich and wow see pic. Was very good next time going to try the Mac & Cheese as the side. The waitress was very good and pleasant. The noise level was good too. Will definitely go back when in the area.

If you're looking for a casual restaurant with awesome service and delicious food this is the place for you! Their specials are out of this world. We got the 36oz bone in ribeye and the OG. (Filet and shrimp) Everything was cooked perfectly. Also, don't forget to order dessert to go.

I traveled about an hour and half to try this restaurant! Their social media sucks you in, and they really market their food well! Their food did not disappoint, and I look forward to going again! I love that they have a set menu but change their specials every 2 to 3 weeks. This keeps you coming back for me! The mark of a great restaurant I'd having food that will keep you coming back but also different specials makes you look forward to something new!

Highly recommend! The chef elevates your typical, everyday entrees and adds so much flavor. The specials change every couple weeks, so there's always something new to try. The service is fast and helpful with recommendations. Good idea to call for a reservation over the weekend, this place is popular.

This place was incredibly busy, the steaks smelled and looked awesome. Portions were large and they have many unique decorations including a Bigfoot obstacle course. Fish sandwich was large enough for 2 meals!

6/2/24 Lunch today with dad. We each ordered the fish sandwich & French fries. Derek was our server- he did an excellent job. The fish came out and OMG... LOOK AT IT...! And it tasted even better... and the fries... PERFECT...!

What a great birthday dinner! Thank you server Andy. You really helped to make a great birthday meal. We made reservations about two weeks in advance knowing this is a smaller space inside, (there is a terrific outside eating area too). Once we were seated a happy server appeared ready to make our dining experience memorable. We perused the menus with some help from Andy made our meal choices. Our meals arrived in a good time to not rush our appetizer and dinner. Thanks to Talbots and Andy for a fun evening. Good times, good food.

They also serve a variety of craft beers inside their lodge-inspired restaurant. I was able to get there just before the dinner rush on a Sunday and was seated quickly. I was seated at a table that gave me a good view of the restaurant. On this visit, I chose to skip the mains and try some shareables. I started with a bowl of their soup, which had ground beef and cheese and was almost like a chilli. Next up, I tried one of their specialties, the Burning Mussels, made with bacon, peppers, and tomatoes in a garlic-butter and white-wine broth, topped with Asiago and parmesan cheeses and served with garlic toast. The mussels were fresher than I thought they would be, and there is enough broth and ingredients, making the dish very hearty and filling. I finished with the Lamb Lollipops, a trio of three grilled chops, served on a bed of risotto. The lamb was cooked medium-rare like I ordered it and was seasoned just right. The food and ambiance were great, and the servers were friendly, and I had a great meal. The dishes combined made quite a meal and were more than enough for one person. On my next visit, I'll definitely try an entree.

It didn't take us long to make this a regular place to go. The beers are great, although my favorites are juicy IPAs and I tend toward this style. The staff there is mostly friendly, we all have off days. ;) The food, from Freedom Farms, is very good and offers generous portions. I deducted a half point from my review because they do not keep an updated menu on their website. The beer selection is updated regularly, though. We went last week, expecting to have dinner and beer to get us out of the house because we were going winter stir-crazy, and were surprised to find food truck-style offerings from a bbq place instead of our favorite Freedom Farms fare.. It was pretty good, but as a warning to those who are unfamiliar, when you order "pulled brisket" what you get is a scoop of meat in a paper bowl. There was a brocolli salad that sounded good for $5, but at that point the line was long and I just didn't want to bother. Husband thought that the pulled pork mac&cheese was really good. I will return again on a Thursday to check out the taco food truck, it may be more what I want from a meal. Can't wait for warmer weather, we love sitting outside in the greenhouse area. There is also a big patio area which is wonderful for a warm spring day, or a cozy summer night. The menu contains unique items amongst its standard fare. We went with the "Polish bowl", the " Italian bowl" and the cheesesteak. The Polish bowl contained pirogies that would rival any church lent takeaway. Accompanying them was kielbasa, sauerkraut, bacon, with side of sour cream and butter. Large portions, delicious taste. The Italian bowl consisted of four enormous meatballs. The flavor reminded me of my mom's who was taught by her neighbor who was from Italy. So very delectable. I took two of the four home and made two meatball subs from them- again, so enormous. The Grumpy Beaver does not skimp on quantity, but maintains a very high level of quality. The cheesesteak equaled two you would receive from anywhere else. The inclusion of sirloin, Swiss cheese accompaniment, and the local Mancini bakery bread ( long roll) will stand against anything you get from Philly. This was scrumptious. For dessert we chose a Dubai torte, and a banana peanut butter pie. Both did not let us down, with the heavenly flavor exploding in each bite. Our waitress Gabby was sweet and very accommodating.
