    The board as of today

I loved the venue, especially on a day when we could sit outside. There's something about drinking in a church. Call me weird. The interior offers plenty of seating. Parking looked a bit limited, so be warned. Location is convenient to downtown and YSU campus. I did a flight and a pint before having dinner at MVR. You could walk down there easily. Service was good, nothing special. The small crowd that was there on a Thursday at about 5 was fun and friendly. Dogs are welcome which is a plus to me. The beer selection when I was there was interesting. They had three German beers, two saisons, and three lighter beers (lagers). They had a porter, a sour and an interesting spiced lager. I thought it was odd that there were no IPAs. The 6 beers on my flight were mostly good. The dunkel and the spiced lager were the best. The dry hopped saison was light enough on the spice that it was very good to me. A true saison drinker might disagree though. This will probably come off odd, but if you're what I'd call a traditional beer drinker (used to breweries that feature a few IPAs), you might want to pass here before you've had Modern Methods and Birdfish. If you like German beers, this should be your first stop in the area.

Such a gem of a spot. Cool vibe, great drinks and food, nice people! Loved it! A rennovated church made into a bar!!!

What a neat place to visit and sample their brews. This old church converted into a brewery offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Limited parking should be noted. We sat outside on this beautiful day and sampled a flight of their brews. I should mention that on this particular day, the board contained mostly German brews with a few saisons, lagers and I think a sour as well. The reason for mentioning it is that I am not a fan of sours or saisons and this still holds true. I sampled them but my palette just doesn't allow me to like them. The spiced lager wasn't too bad with my favorite being the dunkel. While we didn't eat here, they do have a food menu however it is very limited. Like I said initially, neat little place to visit and sample some brews. I'm sure Ill return.

Awesome atmosphere, beer experts and food right in the heart of Youngstown. Flavorful beers run the gambit from hazy IPAs to sours and beyond. Fantastic menu item, all from scratch. Cool place for sure!

Fun place! Micro-brewery in an old church building. Beers are good and there's a large variety to choose from. I recommend getting a flight of four beers to try them out. My wife and I visited Noble Creature last night with another couple and we enjoyed our beer and sandwiches. I had a turkey, bacon, avocado with lettuce and tomato. It was very good. My wife had a Cuban sandwich, which she enjoyed. There was entertainment as well... at 7pm, a singer/guitarist played and sang to the crowd.

I tasted them at Iron Mann in Girard. Shout out to those guys for having this extensive selection, along with great, friendly service I'd say check out 1547 wherever you find them and see how your tastes compare to mine... My impression of the beers (always a subjective matter, of course) went down something like this: 1400 Miles From Home - a Key Lime Sour. Very light sour, to my liking, with all of the flavors in the description working together quite nicely Kolsch - another light version of this style. It is a good summer beer for someone who wants a little more flavor than a Bud/Coors/Miller Ohio Heat Wave - subtle habanero on the back end slowly builds, but that's about the only thing I'm picking up. This is a very light beer Hang 11 - a sweet IPA? The bitterness is as advertised. Would love to know the hops involved. Very drinkable, but don't expect a mouthful of IPA. More like a sweet, session IPA in my opinion Shooktown NE IPA - first taste hit very nice. Like most of them, it tastes very close to the description. No bitterness, but like others on the flight, it's a light version of this style. I'm used to a more potent hit of juice from a NE IPA, it's drinkable for sure

They have an incredible selection of beers on tap with pale ales, IPA's, fruit flavors, stouts and more. There were so many that sounded amazing that I couldn't choose just one. Luckily they have a tasting tray of four beers for people like me who can't decide! They were all delicious and flavorful making it impossible to choose a favorite. Plus the amazing worker behind the bar suggested mixing the orange creamsicle and Red Dragon (raspberry) together which was a like a little bit of summer making a welcome appearance in winter! If you like something sweet this is for you. I wasn't sure what to expect from the food but it exceeded both mine and my friend's expectations! The onion rings had a thin coating on them and weren't rough at all which is how I like them. The tavern dipping sauce was so good and mixed very well with the ranch. We had a hard time deciding which flatbread to choose because they all sounded amazing but decided to go with the Chivalry which was a white pizza with chicken, mozzarella, ranch, and banana peppers. It was definitely the right choice! Fantastic food and drinks mixed with great service made for a fun night from start to finish. Already planning my next trip here!
