We stopped down here one evening to enjoy some craft brews and live music. There's not a ton of space inside when it's busy, so make friends and try to share! We had some great brews down here: they have a number of sours and wild ales, which did not disappoint. Food was great, something for everyone and so pleased to have it on site. Had the beef special and "Tasting " plate. Had cask beer that day and it was so,ooo good and not readily available at all breweries. So great job on this and all others I sampled, did a flight. The bartender was so informative and patient. I loved the venue, especially on a day when we could sit outside. There's something about drinking in a church. Call me weird. The interior offers plenty of seating. Parking looked a bit limited, so be warned. Location is convenient to downtown and YSU campus. I did a flight and a pint before having dinner at MVR. You could walk down there easily. Service was good, nothing special. The small crowd that was there on a Thursday at about 5 was fun and friendly. Dogs are welcome which is a plus to me. The beer selection when I was there was interesting. They had three German beers, two saisons, and three lighter beers (lagers). They had a porter, a sour and an interesting spiced lager. I thought it was odd that there were no IPAs. The 6 beers on my flight were mostly good. The dunkel and the spiced lager were the best. The dry hopped saison was light enough on the spice that it was very good to me. A true saison drinker might disagree though. This will probably come off odd, but if you're what I'd call a traditional beer drinker (used to breweries that feature a few IPAs), you might want to pass here before you've had Modern Methods and Birdfish. If you like German beers, this should be your first stop in the area. read more

What a neat place to visit and sample their brews. This old church converted into a brewery offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Limited parking should be noted. We sat outside on this beautiful day and sampled a flight of their brews. I should mention that on this particular day, the board contained mostly German brews with a few saisons, lagers and I think a sour as well. The reason for mentioning it is that I am not a fan of sours or saisons and this still holds true. I sampled them but my palette just doesn't allow me to like them. The spiced lager wasn't too bad with my favorite being the dunkel. While we didn't eat here, they do have a food menu however it is very limited. Stopped by during a visit to Youngstown - convenient location (use your eyes, Google kept trying to send us around the block) in a converted church. Cool vibe but literally cool temperatures too - granted, it was December and not long after opening for the day, so maybe it warms up as it fills in? Food wasn't particularly ambitious but solid pub fare. Shared a couple of flights with a friend and enjoyed seven of eight, with the red being a little bland. Ordered the Beet Blast on a lark and liked it enough to buy a four pack of cans for later - it's a cheery sour and a true delight. Staff was helpful in guiding our selection and checking back with us for feedback and to make sure we were enjoying our choices. Will return if I'm ever in Y'town again! read more

Fun place! Micro-brewery in an old church building. Beers are good and there's a large variety to choose from. I recommend getting a flight of four beers to try them out. My wife and I visited Noble Creature last night with another couple and we enjoyed our beer and sandwiches. I had a turkey, bacon, avocado with lettuce and tomato. It was very good. My wife had a Cuban sandwich, which she enjoyed. There was entertainment as well... at 7pm, a singer/guitarist played and sang to the crowd. read more

Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh is cool, but Noble Creature Cask House (also housed in a former church) is f****** awesome! Tucked into a small old church this cask house is able to include outdoor seating, a nice bar and long table seating. Specializing in some funkier beers, I was very happy I got a flight. That said, their more 'normal' offerings (like an IPA or red ale) will impress. The italian sandwich I got was incredible. The bread is housemade with spent grains from their brewing process. Just enough spice to let your mouth know it's there, but not enough to make it work to get through. They know their beer trade bar none, but their food is nothing to sniff at either! My brother is in the marine corps and lives near Youngstown so we stopped here to meet him on our way through Ohio. We were looking for somewhere dog friendly and this looked like the only place. Noble creature exceeded our expectations! Many of the staff came to pet and say hi to our dogs and so did many of the patrons. The beer was excellent. We has the Double IPA, the session, and the Porter. They were all great! No complaints at all and a pleasant surprise for the area. We were hungry so we also had a Cuban sandwich and it was also really good. Great vibe, dog friendly, great prices. Happy we stopped here! read more

I love this place! It is an undiscovered gem! If you are a person who likes beer and excellent food, you are cheating yourself if you do not make an effort to go to Noble Creature Cask House. The brisket is excellent, the ribs are inspirational, the chicken thighs are tender and juicy with crispy skin. The sides are all fantastic. You can't go wrong with anything you order. I am a big fan of the Penelope Porter. Every beer is unique. Let's face it, there is not much to recommend in Youngstown OH. This Brewpub is so fantastic that I am considering forcing one of my children to attend Youngstown State University so I have an excuse to eat here on a regular basis. read more

This was my first visit to the brewery, although I'd enjoyed their canned beer many times. What a treat. Unique space, solid brews and terrific BBQ. The staff was friendly and did a nice job. The app-based ordering process for bbq worked very well- I hope many more places follow suit. One star off for very limited parking and for a disappointment I have with many breweries- few to no options for those who indulge me in visiting breweries but don't care for beer themselves. Even a small range of wine, mead, ciders- local if possible- would be welcome. Really looking forward to what they can do when things can really open up again. read more

This place is so f*cking cool! Doing a quick little hop of some Youngstown breweries, Noble Creatures just happened to be a bit closer than some of the others. Quite surprising to pull up and realize the brewery is in an old church! With that being said, the decor is about what you would expect - all the old stained glass, pews serving as the indoor seating...I absolutely love the vibe here. I never did ask what animal skull serves for their awesome logo. There were a lot of great sounding beers on tap - the bartender insisted I try a sample of the one I ordered first since it was a bit "different" (IIRC it was a smoked sour) - I loved it so got a pint, but I appreciate the warning. We took our beers out to the nice patio and enjoyed the beautiful day. All the beers were spot on. I went back in to order the second round (got a tequila barrel aged sour that time and wow was it good) and also got myself a hat, and a onesie for my future niece. I wish the hat actually said Noble Creature Cask House on it somewhere, but I love the logo so I don't mind. Highly recommend every beer lover in Yo-town checks this place out! read more

My first impression: What a cute building! Walking in: a small church turned brewery (gentrification at it's best!) TALK ABOUT CHARACTER! I was thrown that they close at 10pm on a Friday night and the place wasn't very packed at 8:30PM (Locals: what are you doing?! You need to frequent this place because it's awesome!) The beers: I did a flight and the cran/ plum sour was excellent. The tequila barrel aged orange sour was ok (my lady friend really enjoyed it.) The saison was nice- very clean, crisp and pretty text book and the stout was just ok... (I like my stouts viscous and thick- and this bordered on watered down imho- but still a nice example of a RIS.) The food: House made Cheez Its with spent beer grain - KILLER... I applaud what you're doing with food- reminds me of Cinderlands Brewing in Pittsburgh, but I digress... Cuban Sandwich, bun made from spent beer grain...strong offering...not the best I've ever had, but not mad at it. Strawberry/Rhubarb cake w/ buttercream icing utilizing their cranberry sour...woof! One of the BEST desserts I've ever had and totally worth a trip on it's own! So why 4 stars instead of 5? - I don't hand out 5 stars easily and consider 3 an average rating... I decided to check this place out specifically for the Bao listed on their website...when we arrived, nothing matched what their site listed...if they update their site regularly, I would change this to a 5 in a heartbeat...meaning if you live close and want a solid beer and outstanding food in a great spot, you should go without any hesitation! We had a couple hours to kill between a wedding and reception so we stopped in here. We LOVED it. It is so quaint and beautiful. I love the location. One of the hidden gems in Youngstown for sure. We also met the owners of Penguin City Beer when we were hanging out on the patio! Their food and beer were both really really good. I love the design and the concept. Out of all things, the bathrooms were really nice, which shows how much they care about making their customers feel welcome in every way possible haha. We had a wonderful experience! read more

I highly enjoyed going here! There's a good amount of parking in the lot. The atmosphere is fun and pretty since it's in an old church. There's plenty of seating. The bartenders were really nice and helpful. I ordered a flight, and my friends ordered 3 other beers. The wick perk was my absolute favorite, great coffee flavor, very smooth, not too strong, I could drink this beer all night. My second favorite was the thin lips, crisp, tart, and refreshing, great flavor. The maintain, and the saison were ok, I would call them regular beers, plain, not much flavor, but smooth and easy to drink. The Nergalette with Apricot was a good sour with great apricot taste, not too over powering at first but the pour was much too large for a sour beer. The ohvercast was ok, I'm not an IPA fan but my friend who is also wasn't impressed. Lastly, the Petrushka was a strong bitter stout, also not impressed. It was very cold inside and I kept my coat on the whole time we were there. Overall, the prices were great, the beer was good, with some real winners. Went here with some friends during covid restrictions and the food was great, service was nice, and the ordsring with qr codes to each seat was very well thought out. Great bbq style food so I went with a pulled pork sandwhich that made me want to come back. The building was is a renovated church with a ton of creative designs. Beer was good. Easy to get in and out of. I need to go back soon. read more
