I have taken shoes,boots etc to Dan for at least 25-30 years and he is awesome!! So very nice, humorous, and very honest!! His prices are very reasonable, he never tries to make a "killing" at the expense of his customers..If a shoe is beyond repair like such was a pair of mine the other day, he tells the truth... instead of pretending to fix them only for the shoe to fall apart again, and re-charge. When he leaves on the 30th I will truly miss him! I think it is absolutely awful for these "money hungry" people to just throw away businesses and the owners just like they are nothing..just for the money!! Oh my gosh. 7 stars plus for this shop. My husband's new expensive sandals were chewed up by my daughters dog and kind of destroyed. He wanted to throw them away. But I took them to Cobbler Tri Valley & Boot Shop and he did a miracle on them. He added perfect leather, sew them up, made them new again and you hardly can see the damage. This man is so perfect in his craftsmanship, that we can be blessed to have him in this town. I bring all my shoes and more to him, and he somehow can fix it and make it look like new again. My previous review was from February 2022. Since then, I've come here a few times to get random things fixed... bags, shoes, birkenstocks. Danny is the best. Nice guy, great prices, very honest, and he does amazing work. I can't believe I didn't know about this place all my life. If he doesn't think he can do something well, he will tell you up front. One time I asked him for help on a bag that fell apart and he told me to find some screws. After I did, he helped me determine the right screws to put in and didn't charge me. Another time, I needed some glue on one of my clogs. He applied some on the spot and didn't charge me. I would rate this place 6 stars if I could. read more

This lightweight backpack I bought always had a shoddy zipper on it. It finally broke after messing with it for many months. I contacted the company but they said they couldn't replace it because it was after a certain amount of days. After doing some research, I found this cobbler that was open. The place near me was closed so I opted to try this place. It's a bit tucked away, right past the parking garage on Railroad right behind a bar. I called to get a ballpark estimate and it was actually much cheaper than when I brought it in. It took less than a day and now I have a backpack with an even better zipper on it. It's good as new now. Good thing because I didn't really want my backpack to get recycled or end up in a landfill. They're cash only so make sure you have some cash on you.
