This is where I've been coming for my oil change for the last 2 years. It also comes with a free wash. With a coupon (I get it online, emailed to me as a rewards member, in my mail, or from a previous visit) it usually costs me around $21-27 total. I never go without a coupon (I guess it's the asian in me, haha) so it comes out to a fair price. At regular price $35.99, not so much. Most of the guys at the lube station know me here and have never really tried to sell me anything/everything else. I usually pull up and say "JUST an oil change today" and they go about their way. This place is terrible, after you get threw the line of salesman telling you how bad your car is (my car has 1500 miles) no detail necessary. I purchased the second to highest wash and when I got it back the inside was still terrible. There was a layer of dirt all over the dash and the seats. There was still trash everywhere. There are much better options. As you can see the manager emailed the warm and fuzzy, I provided him with the information and again nothing. What you can expect from this place. UPDATE. I was a little nervous about coming here for an oil change, but was quickly reassured. The person working on my car showed me my filters and let me decide if I felt like I needed to change them. We talked about what would happen if I did or did not change them and did not pressure me one way or another. The waiting area is amazing. There are recliners, tv's, a play structure for kids, dunkin donuts, and an outside area with a water feature and comfortable chairs. While I was sitting outside waiting for my car and drinking my coffee the manager came up and introduced himself and said he heard I was a first time customer so he wanted to know how my experience was so far. They even call your name over a loud speaker to let you know when your car is ready. The customer experience for me has been an awesome one. I will definitely be back. read more

Here in AZ after 58 years in Oregon, I've had a great experience with an Oil Can Henry's in Portland for the last five years. They recently were bought out by Valvoline Express, but the service remains top notch. So, I was looking for a place I could trust just like in Portland. I looked at the Yelp reviews for several oil change places around the Chandler area and decided on this Cobblestone. Two reasons, I wanted a place that could change my oil today and do it for a reasonable price. I had a very pleasant experience and saw a group of hard working people doing what can be a thankless job many days of the year. The service team that changed my oil were fast friendly and for purposes of their management try to up-sell everything all the time. Business is business and you need to know that as a customer. That being said, you the customer, need to use information that's useful and reject what isn't. I received a good tip through the service crew checking my battery, the cold cranking amps were lower than it should be and the indicator on the top of the battery is showing "Red". A new battery starts at $150.00. I took the information and will use it to replace my battery, but not at the quick lube shop. The crew lead did appear somewhat upset I didn't take his advice and buy the battery. Nothing verbal or even noticeable by most people, but it was obvious to me. They finished the service after I was presented with the bill and excused to pay the invoice inside the store. This is where I was extremely uncomfortable, I'm accustomed to staying seated in my vehicle until the service is completed. That wasn't happening for a couple reasons; the team hadn't taken the steps to complete the service while I was there and the vehicle was going through the wash. This was uncomfortable, but I did go in and pay. The pricing was very reasonable 5,000 mile oil with a car wash $64.50 this is right inline with what I was paying in Portland without the wash. I verified the oil level and checked the battery again at home, I intend on going to the dealer to purchase an OEM battery. It will be at a higher cost, but that's not the issue I want to know the battery I get is one that will last and provide the power needed for my vehicle. Not only do you get Shell gasoline for a good price(even better price if you bring your Fry's VIP card), but they also have a really good car wash with many levels to pick from, window tinting, vehicle maintenance service, propane tank fill-up, AND there's even a Dunkin Donuts inside! I bring my truck and my boat here for detailing, and it's always a great job. They also have a comfortable waiting area inside next to the Dunkin Donuts with couches and chairs. I've been coming to this car wash for several years and in the past 2 or so the quality has gone way down. I pay for the $15.99 wash and I always have to ask the staff to come wipe bugs off the front or water spots or marks on the windshield. They do not wipe down the interior of the car anymore either. And the last time I took my car there they failed to put in the air freshener. They do however have the charming guys who are all over you for windshield repair. I'm disappointed as they're so close to home but it's just not worth the money anymore. I'd rather drive farther and have a nice clean interior and non-spotty/buggy exterior. read more

Worst. Car wash. Ever. If you need a reliable, thorough car wash, do not go here. It begins with a very hard selling greeter who tries to push wash packages no matter how many times you say no. It ends with black shoe prints on the carpet, soaking wet carpet from the scent they douse it with, dirty thresholds, and dirt/dust smeared inside windows. Hint: Dousing the carpet with scent does not fool me into thinking my car is clean.) The first time I took my car to this car wash I had just moved to the area. It was disappointing. Not very happy with Cobblestone spa at first. The verdict is still out. I bought a pre Paid detail card from them back on 8/29/09 and I tried to use it today. When I bought it the person that sold it to be stated they would take me back to work and then pick me up when they were done. This was a huge selling point for me so I agreed to purchase. I tried to use it today only to find out they do not shuttle people back and forth. So I went in there to get a refund but I was told I would have to co to the corporate office. I just got back from a road trip and needed to get all the dead butterflies off the front of my car. I was asked if I wanted my car detailed, umm it's brand new so I think not. Then there was the requisite upsell but I just went with the $19.99 car wash. No the car wasn't that dirty, I really just needed the front end cleaned. That wasn't done too well until I the end when I pointed it out to the guy and he proceeded to scrub the rest of the gunk off the front of my car. I know they saw that the car wasn't that dirty and half-assed cleaning it - but how do you miss the remnants of so many butterflies? At first glance Cobblestone Auto Spa might seem too good to be true; After all it is a full service car wash, full service oil change place, a world class convince store and a Dunkin Doughnuts all under one roof. Even more there is an indoor, air-conditioned playground with free balloons for the kids! Yes it's a glimpse of heaven right there on the corner at Alma School and Germann. I have been a regular customer for a few years now and have always been satisfied with the car washes and oil changes. My most recent visit merited a special mention on Yelp. My car refused to start after it's wash - dead battery. When Tom the manager saw me waiting for the auto club he offered to help in any way, and sent someone from oil change over to help out. Alan, the oil change manager came over and got it started and once we got it over to the garage gave it a thorough inspection, tightened the cables and tested the battery. Fixed it. While going through the wash my car told me that I had low tire pressure on my front left tire, I didn't think anything of it at the time, tires do lose air. I drove slowly to the exit and left the lot, however as soon as I got the car up to speed it started to shake and rattle. I pulled over and saw that the valve on the tire had been sheared off. I turned around and returned to the location immediately, the first person I talked to went to get the manager as we stood around and looked at the car several of the staff members commented how the valve stuck out a little and could have easily been caught on the rail. The manager showed up and started commenting how I have "after market parts" that make the valve longer. I don't, this is all stock factory equipment. Then started telling me that there was no way his wash could have caused this damage. So which is it do I have aftermarket parts that stick out to far that caused it, or is it impossible that the damage happened in your wash? He then showed me video that proved it didn't happen in the wash, even though they have no clear shots of the tire in or out of the wash. I asked, "So you're telling me that the valve stem on my tire randomly popped off in the three minutes I was off the lot with no other influence." His response, a shoulder shrug and, "Yeah." When I explained that I would be leaving a negative review here, that I would never be coming back, and that my girlfriend would be cancelling her contract his response to me. "Intimidation isn't going to work on me sir." Well, that's just fine. Between myself and my girlfriend Cobblestone has already lost more revenue than it would have cost them to offer me a tow to a tire repair shop, or even offer me a ride back home down the road. Those simple gestures would have turned me into a lifetime and dedicated customer. Instead they've decided to show their poor customer service again and lost 2, and probably more customers. Edit: I watched the video with the manager, there is no video that clearly shows the drivers side front tire, either working or not. I have never given a business a low star rating but this trip reminds me why I wash my car on my own. I got the ultimate plus car wash and the inside of my car was so dirty I had to ask the guy why the inside of my car wasn't wiped down. His response was ya we just dust the inside, if you want anything wiped down in ur car you will have to get it detailed, to much time to wipe your seat. You would think that this car wash that cost 30 bucks you would at least get your seats wiped. On top of that there was steal leaves and dirt on my back seat floors. Remind you I basically cleaned my entire car out so they had little work to do but just vacuum and wipe the seats. Doesn't your car wash machine do most of the work? After being a loyal Cobblestone client for years I finally bought my dream vehicle and decided that the monthly carnauba unlimited pass was the way to go. I started noticing (about 3 weeks in) that there were water spots being left even when I dried it after the washes. One evening I brought it to the attention of Sean, he was telling me that acid rain and not drying it right away was causing it. He told me that Del (the GM) would tell me the same thing the next day. Well... Del told me that rain doesn't cause it. Sean returned to let me know that it would cost $220 to get the water spots off. No way in hell was I going to pay the company that damaged it to fix it. So I went to cancel my membership at a different Cobblestone. The lady there was friendly and gave me a phone number when I told her why I was cancelling (vehicle damage). A few hours later I received a phone call from Chris over at my original Cobblestone. He asked me to go ahead and come in that he would take care of me and my vehicle. And damn right he did. Took complete care of my vehicle, owned the outcome, and was very polite about the whole situation. Thank you Chris! You really repaired my faith in Cobblestone. read more

I don't know why I even bother coming back here. I come maybe once every 6 months to give myself a break from washing my car and every time, I am left having to clean all the crap that was missed anyway. I point all the noticeable stuff out before pulling away like that they missed drying a whole side of my car, or that my driver window still hadn't been cleaned, etc. But its after you pull away and are driving that you notice all the other stuff that wasn't done like cleaning the dash, but guts still smeared all over the windshield and some interesting gum like stuff stuck to the passenger door. My car is brand new, still has temp plates on it, so it's not like it was a hard car to wash or was overwhelmingly dirty either. Waste of my time and money. read more

I am currently enrolled in their unlimited washes program and it's a good value if you care about the look of your car. Never any problems and always friendly, quick staff if you have any questions. My husband and I got our car washed and a spray wax done. The inside of our car didnt look like it was clean near the dashboard and the passenger side. The exterior looked great though. It would have been nice if the inside was clean as well as the outside of our car like it usual is when we are there. Car wash is decent if you are not in a hurry. With all that they have going on in this area its hard to be in and out. Wait times are usually around 15 minutes, sometimes longer for a car wash. They do a great job though. Coffee while you're getting your car washed is a plus!! read more

Just got the "diamond" wash - their top of the line. No attention to detail. They just loaded a rag with armor all and did a quick swipe of dash, doors and steering wheel. I am paying for an unlimited plan. Everytime i want a wash it wont read the rfid. I have to pay again even though they charge me $31 for unlimited. Manager says nothing they can do about it. Wash was good, but more expensive than what I normally would have paid. The only reason I got one and didn't do it on my own was because I was promised by one of their team that I would get a free wash if it rained and I brought it back within 48 hours of when I got it washed. Even after I told him that my car could only be hand washed because of the soft top. I bring it in two days after a monsoon and am told the offer is only good for a basic machine wash. And when the representative went to 'see what he could do for me' and came back with a regular 'Happy hour' discount, all I could do was laugh. The wash was excellent. I love how my car looked for a day. But I do NOT appreciate being lied to so some kid could meet his commission quota and I don't appreciate being treated like an idiot when being offered 'let me see what I can do for you.' I used Cobblestone in other locations and thought I would try them out in spite of the reviews here. I usually do a detail and wax twice a year, but wanted to see what their basic wash was before I invested the money. I got their supreme $19.99 wash. It looks much better than it did, but the whole back end is still dirty. If you're hand drying the car, it seems there would at least be swipe marks in the dirt, but there weren't. Just dirt. Too bad. I'll keep looking in the Chandler area for a better car wash. read more
