This is the spot! Super affordable which is hard to come by these days. Both my cousin and I came in for a haircut. Both James and Michelle did great work, and every single one cutting hair was nice and hospitable. Don't let the language barrier fool you, they are sweet people. They offered us cold water and soda on a 102 degree day. My cousin was able to show Michelle a picture of the kind of fade he wanted and she did it, even better than the photo. I guess james is the only guy to go. My brother and I came her to get a cut and man it was a mistake. We both asked for the same hair cut. A simple number one and fade it into the part. My hair turned out ok but the lady that worked on his must of been in a bad mood or something. She gave him a zero all around and a 1 inch hard part. (which he didn't ask for). I swear that hard part is so big you can land a damn plane on it. I'm very disappointed.. I told the lady that wasn't what he asked for and she started speaking in her language to her co-worker. They quickly ran my card and there nothing else I can do. What made it worst was I asked them to fix it and the lady kept say "oh no it's ok.. not bad" I'm sad/glad to say that we will NOT be returning to this shop. For everyone who reads this.. I was in the area and saw $12 men's haircut so decided to give this place a try. I just wanted a fade and to trim a little off the top. Michelle did a good job, then proceeded to trim my beard and shave my neck. She asked how I liked it and I thought she was done so I asked for some gel. She told me first we will wash the hair. After the beard and now this I'm thinking "oh great, it's going to be at least $25 now" when I did not ask for either. To my surprise it was still only $13. What a great service at a great price. For $13 dollars I easily received 100 star treatment. Best haircut I've received since I moved to SoCal. Cut, blow dry, shampoo, style, crazy back massager thing at the end. They even offer cold beverages to all their customers. Even when I move to LA I will unquestionably be driving an hour south to go to this place cause its amazing, and a thousand times better than anywhere I had gone in Hollywood that were all charging somewhere in the $30-$40 range just to not even cut my hair how I had asked. SCAM I had to get my three sons a hair cut she only took cash so I payed with 100 dollar bill she gave the money back in tens and a five I gave the five back for tip right after I got dinner and decided to pay with the change from the barber shop the machine would not scan it and the gamut said it was fake I pulled out a real ten and compared them it was FAKE I went back to get my money but they closed up the shop And left it even said open online. read more

In an unassuming strip mall, Mimi is a rockstar! Getting your haircut with someone new is always a bit scary. You don't know if they're going to get it how you want it. Outstanding work here. Due to the nature of my work, I sometimes have really long 2 hour lunch breaks and on this particular day I happened to be in the area. I am familiar with the area but had never really paid attention to or seen this spot but I am glad I decided to walk in. My new go to person from here on out will be Mimi. I asked her to do a certain cut and as she was finishing up...I could tell she wasn't feeling it ( and neither was I) as she kept going around trying to make it work. She end up giving me a recommendation for something just a little bit different and once I gave her the go ahead she lit up and got to work; a clip here and a snip there...and voila! I had my first haircut from James 2 weeks ago and appreciated his fun personality and fresh cut. He was fast but I could tell that there was a lot of experience in his hands. I came in yesterday again and there were 4 customers ahead of me. James told me that it'd be a 30 minute wait and he didn't exaggerate. He and Michelle flew through those customers while still providing great cuts; they were amazingly efficient.
