First time coming here and super happy with not only how nice they were, but professional as well! The vibe was fun and the customers who came in before us who had their set barbers were just as excited to see them as their barbers were to see them (excited as well) which obviously says a lot! I showed the barber, I believe his name was Richie (hope I spelt it right) a picture of the specific cut I'd like my boyfriend to have and he named off everything in the whole cut and I was super impressed lol and he was very nice! I'm new to the city of Orange and have been searching for a legitimate, old school, true to the art barbershop. I saw Orange Barber Co. online and what stood out to me were pictures of the shop; classic green checkered floor and a classic hotrod parked out front. Came in as a walk-in on a Wednesday (appointments are preferred due to large clientele) and was able to take a seat right away. Barbers name was ROBERT CARR**CO that provided exceptional service and a true to craft, professional and enjoyable experience. Needless to say the search is over and a new home has been found. Will be coming back regularly to see ROBERT for the sickest most solid fade in all of Orange County. I'm laying it on thick but what can I say, that's what reviews are for. You're going to get a quality cut. I've gone to two separate barbers. Jesse and Wes will take care of you. Make sure you consider the time you will spend here and have an hour to two to spare. The 2 would be if you're getting your beard shaved/trimmed. Both barbers had good conversations and were skilled with their clippers. read more

It wasn't until about a week later that I connected the dots--changing my routine, visiting a new barbershop, and getting a neck clean-up (not a full haircut) from a woman at your shop. The fact that my hair appears "grown out" in the photo is irrelevant, as I never received a full haircut, just a trim. You also chose to focus on my review history rather than the issue at hand, which is a classic way to deflect responsibility. If you had taken the time to look properly, you'd see that I do, in fact, have plenty of five-star reviews for businesses that provide great service. The difference? They actually earned them. Went in for a simple haircut from my barber, Wes. Him and the rest of the people were very friendly. My haircut was great, it didn't take a long time as some places tend to do. Wes hit me with that razor shave with the alcohol and then a hot towel razzle-dazzle at the end. Pretty quiet barbershop which I like a lot as I don't like super loud barbershops. Kind of has an old timey feel to it while also being very clean. Plenty of parking available and few businesses right next to them so if you want to take a walk or get something to eat, it's close by. 10/10 will continue to go get my haircut here from Wes read more

Everyone is always seen doing their part to keep the shop clean and it shows. The atmosphere is professional and welcoming. By that I mean the owner Neil ensures that the shop is a proper professional environment for everyone to come in and get a cut. You won't find barbers cussing and being vulgar and chalking it up to shop talk. That's not the environment here. It's friendly, clean, and professional. What it should be. My barber: I've been getting my haircut from Matt for nearly 4 years. He's always been attentive, nice, and always up for a great conversation. Sports, music, life, it doesn't matter, as a person first he's one of a kind. Listens to my requests if needing to change it up and takes note so it's just a sit in the chair and he'll do the rest. Booking with Matt is always simple and easy. Just let him know you're interested and he let you know the best way to book. My cuts: Matt has always taken great care of me and keeps me looking sharp. This is an update from my initial rating. I've been coming to Orange County Barber Company for about 3 years now. And the environment is always welcoming, and you get great quality haircuts from any of these professional barbers. I have personally been cutting my hair with Neil, and always leave pleased with my haircut and the service I receive. For any new clients, I recommend booking an appointment, but they also take walk-ins if they have availability. The barbershop itself is always clean, they have a restroom you can use also, which is clean as well. They usually have sports, or movies on the TV's and are always playing great music. This establishment is family friendly, and I would not hesitate to bring my kids here. So, do yourself a favor and check them out! I came in for a simple fade and fringe, and I don't believe the barber knew how to really cut hair. He took forever getting the fade right but he didn't seem to know how to properly cut the top and front part of my hair. The left side was completely uneven from the right. At the time I did not want to complain and make waves. Silver lining, though, my hair grows fast, thank goodness. I'll start by saying I've had haircuts by 3 different barbers here - Ellen, Ari, and Sam. All the haircuts have been pretty good, so I'd give them 5 stars for that. But the reason for 3 stars is because the last 2 times I've come here - I've had my ear cut. First, by Ari and then again by Sam. I get it, shit happens. So the first time; I didn't even complain. But now that it's happened again, unfortunately I'll be looking for a new barber.
