I reported to the BBB!!!! We were there with my niece for nail service, when my niece stood up from the nail tech to ask my sister , her mom, if the length of the nails she was getting was ok, the owner of the nail place , a male , who did not want to disclose his name , started to yell at my 13 year old niece to not stand up and walk away from the nail tech and if she has questions for others my sister to come to her instead , continued to yell after we asked him what the problem was he continued to yell at us and stated that they are performing a service and to not stand up. I told him to not yell at my niece she is 13! He said I am the owner and I am saying to not get up! Continued to yell without hesitation to my niece and my sister and myself in front of other customers and employees!! I told him if he is the other and that he should know how to speak to customers especially a 13 year old, there is a way to speak to human beings! He just kept insisting that he is the owner and he is saying what should be done in his shop. This is ethnically wrong in all aspects of how to treat another person, especially a young person. It was 6:15pm and maybe he was at the end of his shift but in no means is this right for anyone or an owner to act with his customers at all!! If I can give it zero stars I would!! read more

I've been to a fair share of nail salons because not only are there so many places, but there are so many talented nail technicians so I like to show everyone love. I never had a go-to nail place (not because I didn't like any enough, but because I always wanted to try new places). That ended when I came to cobblestone! I've been three times and will definitely be going whenever I want to get my nails done. The customer service is exceptional. They usually have a sweet girl at the front greeting and checking customers in. I've never made an appointment, have always done walk-ins and never had to wait more than 10 minutes (I pick my polish color during my wait time). The salon itself is very clean and polished (pun intended) and their pricing is very reasonable. I've been growing my nails out for quite some time and ended up splitting three nails but I superglued them (because I refused to let go). The owners wife repaired my split nails with a touch of acrylic powder and they've been going strong ever since. I don't see myself having a bad experience at this place, ever. This place came recommended to me by my neighbor. Before today, I had been here once and the overall experience was fine- clean, friendly staff and the salon in general was very bright and open. My best friend and I decided to pamper ourselves so I made the suggestion to come back here. When nail salons go wrong, oh boy do they go wrong. I had a girl do my pedicure; she was awful. She filed some of my toenails down below the tips of the nail bed and somehow cut one of my toes with the cuticle clippers. It was a deep wound that burned beyond belief and didn't stop bleeding for several minutes. They found me another manicurist- I wasn't comfortable with her continuing working with me- but he looked like he was pissed that he had to correct her errors. I knew they were talking about me in Vietnamese shortly after, which I did not appreciate. It is incredibly rude to not try to make the experience better since most go to a nail salon when they're stressed, upset, or just needing a little pick me up. Any time you walk out of a salon bleeding, you know it's been a bad time. When we went to pay afterwards, nothing in the form of a discount was offered, but simply an apology. I paid and did not leave a tip. I was upset that nothing more was being done, so told who I thought was the owner that I wanted a refund due to the poor service- she attempted to give me a gift card to their salon, but that was not going to work for me- I wanted my money back. I plead my case and she practically threw the cash at me to just get me out of the salon. I will not be returning. read more

Absolutely phenomenal! I just moved to Arizona and have been looking for a nail spa to call home. And after the first time at cobblestone I was in love. If you're as nitpicking as I am then a nail salon that pays attention to detail is key. Not only are they up for anything you want to do they take their time and recommend whatever is best for your nails not necessarily what's going to be most expensive. On top of the amazing service the actual nail salon is spotless! Clean and welcoming. I've had Aileen most times and she's a sweetheart who has an act for designs and is pretty OCD about how perfect your nails look(never a bad thing). I've also had Rose who's a doll herself definitely knows what's she's doing. But the real reason I'm writing this review is to rave about my last visit... This last time I was deciding about getting something Halloween themed or not but I wasn't sure because my real nails are so tiny. While deciding Tsu( the owner) helped me through the process giving me suggestions as he always does. He should me some designs Aileen had done and told me even though my nails are really tiny he would do them for me. They turned out amazing!!!!! As if my nails looking adorable and perfect wasn't enough the sheer joy Tsu showed when he was doing them was enough to make me content. I have been here many times over the years. Staff is EXTREMELY friendly! Spacious, clean salon. Like other local places, I wouldn't bother with appointments since they are not usually on time for them (I notice that with most places, however) I have consistent results here, and they always do a good, neat job with the cuticles which to me is what separates good from mediocre pedicures. We started going to Cobblestone when the quarantine was lifted and I was blown away by their service & safety precautions. However, like I have found w/ many nail salons, as they get busier, their level of service starts to decline. A few weeks ago, while getting my nails done, I was forced to listen to a very loud political discussion between a nail tech & his client - for the entire hour. We go to the spa to relax, and sadly, politics are very divisive these days. The owner should know better as you never know what side your clients are on and who you are offending... bad for business. Because I am loyal, I gave them another chance a few days ago. This time, they kept me waiting almost 30 minutes for my 2:30 pedi. appt. so I had to change my service to a shorter pedicure (I explained to to the nail tech that I was on my lunch break.) - She was clearly not happy with that and proceeded to rush right through the pedicure w/o saying a word... even when she was finished she just got up and left. I was left with uneven nails and 2 days later- my polish has already chipped. I gave 3 stars because they were great for 6 months. Here's hoping they read this review and realize that competition is fierce out there. If you want repeat business, you need to keep the level of service consistent and the politics out of the spa. read more

New to the area was worried about finding a nice place locally this is my second time back getting a manicure and pedicure they were very helpful got a dip manicure and day spa pedicure. For years i've had acrylic nails they suggested the tip because I wanted more of a natural look plus my nails have been ruined from acrylics amazing job they've done I'm very happy I must say I like their manicure a little better than their pedicures. This was my first visit here. The pedicure was ok, they did not clean up under the nails very well (I had to do it myself later) and the hot stone massage, was not really a massage at all and when I asked them to paint them a certain way (solid color base with a white tip, like French manicure style), they were completely confused and the girl became rude and tried to convince me to do something she wanted to do instead. Eventually the manager came and attempted to do it and made the white tip too fat, which looked awful, then became frustrated when I asked him to fix it, and then he tried to convince to just paint them solid, which is not what I had wanted, or asked for. They ended up looking ok, but sloppy. I also had a gel manicure and paid extra for the hand massage. The manicure was ok, although the person had a very unwelcoming vibe (prior to the pedicure fiasco), the massage was completely nonexistent and the gel ended up starting to peel about a week later, which is much shorter than other places I have been. One plus, they do have a nice, clean facility, but the service is definitely not worth the $80 + they charged me!!!!! I will not be back, ever. read more

I'm a Cosmetologist who had the brilliant idea of doing her own acrylic nails. Why I thought I'd be able to do them beautifully when I hadn't done nails since cosmo school, is beyond me, but I was up for the challenge, I guess? Well, it turned out (you guessed it) to be a complete disaster. I did them Wednesday night and Thursday morning wanted them off. I was pressed for time because of work and b/c of leaving for San Diego today (Friday). The owner and his wife were more than accommodating. He pushed back his gym session Thursday evening b/c he knew this was a 'nail emergency' and his wife took over to do the nail art design. I had a picture from Pinterest that I showed them and they matched it as closely as possible, and it turned out very nice. I posted a picture (mine is the blue, gold glitter, and peacock feather). They were all very friendly and welcoming and you can tell they really enjoy doing nails-it shows in their work and what perfectionists they are. I asked how long they'd been there and he said since 2000 which was really surprising to me because the place is so clean it looks like they just opened. So, as a nail salon it really doesn't get much better than this. They've won me over which really doesn't happen often since they're pretty much on every corner. Had to spread the word. I know, I know, I should've left but I was there with a friend that didn't want to leave. I received a less than stellar pedicure but I guess you get what you pay for. The staff were not engaged and chattered about our requests (eyes rolled). Wont EVER go back. Please, please, please spend the extra money and go to a licensed nail tech in a reputable salon- not a salon where the whole family works off of one license. My nails looked great after my mani but the girl did snip my cuticle with the clippers while prepping my nails and made me bleed a little.. Not unforgivable but I haven't had someone break the skin of my cuticles during a mani in ages. Those itty bitty little cuts sting! She did put some alcohol/antiseptic on it and the rest of the mani was smooth sailing. I love this place! Went for a mani-pedi today and was not disappointed. They always do such a great job. Had the orange sugar scrub pedi and it is thoroughly pampering. They have new chairs throughout the spa and they are ultra comfortable. I decided to also get a manicure. It's been a while since I took care of my nails and cuticles. Worst manicure / pedicure! Most of the technicians provide the least amount of effort. I had to constantly tell my tech that she missed a spot on my nails. She was wearing glasses & still couldn't see! My manicure was mediocre and left old polish underneath the clear polish. My friends toe polish came off the next day! I went there about 3 weeks ago for the first time. My nails were rugged. As soon as I went in I was greeted and immediately dat in a chair. I told them I just wanted a fill and French tips. The woman talked me into getting the gel polish. She did an amazing job!! I told her I had acrylic nails (gel sort of freaks me out) and she was totally cool with it, she didn't try to talk me into doing something I didn't want. My nails were so much smoother and Awesome after she got done. I did pay a little more than I was expecting ($34, rather than the $17 for a fill), but my nails were crap and she had to do some serious work. I definitely didn't mind paying that amount.
