HORRIBLE PLEASE READ ALL. I have gone here for TWO years because of receiving a student discount when I pay but I have had enough. They are unorganized and didn't even notice I had made an appointment with a CERTAIN person, so they gave me a random lady. Many times they have shaved my nails down too short and this last time I had asked twice to shave it lightly....next thing I know my nails are even to my skin. The lady denied the fact that it was her fault, so I talked to the manager named SUE and started yelling at me, trying to take the ladies side. He is mean, impatient, and selfish!! How could you yell at a customer so rudely when I was trying to be nice as possible about the situation? DO NOT GO HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT THE MANAGER IS EXTREMELY RUDE. I am the type of person to gives things a "second chance". My first time going I went with 3 of my sister in laws and a friend. My pedicure wasn't good because I paid for callus remover and still left with callus (I don't have much callus at all), and didn't receive a massage. My gel manicure was with the same younger male and it was amazing. No complaints there what so ever. the duration was more than expected. My second time today, wasn't good and I left upset. I scheduled an appointment the day before. When I came in I wasn't attended until about an hour later. I was waiting for someone to attend me so I sat down. After a while I sat closer so they can see me then they attended me. I came in at 930am and left near 1230pm. When I sat down for my pedicure I also waited about 20-25 min, the water was cold and I was also BURNED by the stone massage! My pedicure was ruined due to the language barrier. I asked for them to redo and they did. The guy who did my gel manicure this time was nice and fixed any problem I had and was also the one who redid my color for my pedicure. This was great and all but a waste of time for me as I had a busy day planned, so when he asked after he finished if my gel manicure was fine I just said yes although this was not how I really felt. After my error with my pedicure I did not have another hour for him to fix my gel manicure. I will post pictures showing you my problem. After my gel manicure was done I was very disappointed to see that it looked like I've had them done like a week ago and not fresh. The color did not reach the cuticle area and looked like I mentioned like a weeks of nail grown out. When they asked the lady who had done my pedicure the first time for explanation, I knew she was talking about me in a bad manner. Almost as though she was a victim, and spoke in their language. This was offensive to me. At the end they charged me an extra $2 for gel removal which I didn't know why so I asked. It would of been great to know what extra charges they are charging me instead of just tagging on a service I don't know I'm supposed to pay for. I don't have a problem if that Is their fee, I am just stating it would of been great to have been told when they were removing the gel color. Also after payment I was asked if I want their "reward card" that if I come 10 times I get something free I think it was a pedicure, not 100% sure. Only because when she said this I said didn't receive this last time I came. The lady replied with oh they must have forgotten. So I was trying to see if they'd give me a stamp for the first time. Another guy said this was my first time and I said no I came a couple weeks ago with this guy. And he said ok but we didn't start reward program then, you start now. I just left after this. I am tired of paying for services and not being happy so I am writing this review which I never do. I refuse to be left unsatisfied so I will start giving reviews. Worst manicure / pedicure! Most of the technicians provide the least amount of effort. I had to constantly tell my tech that she missed a spot on my nails. She was wearing glasses & still couldn't see! My manicure was mediocre and left old polish underneath the clear polish. My friends toe polish came off the next day! I have been going here for a few years now. I've had decent experiences most of the time. Now I am writing a review because of how awful my service was today. I was completely disappointed in the outcome of my nails today. Every single one was crooked, or the acrylic was uneven. Some nails weren't even completely painted. I had to point out every nail to him and show him. This is a usual problem with him and it's minor but added to my frustration. I wanted to tip him still because that is the polite thing to do but when I got home (in STV) I realized the girl never asked me to add a tip. I won't be going back ever again. :/ read more

I love this place. I have been visiting this salon for about 2 years now. The quality of their work is superb. My nails always look nice, and I never have a problem with breakage or loosening. The staff is friendly and always very accommodating. You may have a short wait from time to time, but the wait is mostly due to the fact that they are not rushing everyone through. They take the time to do things right, so I don't mind a short wait as I would want them to take their time with me as well. I won't go anywhere else. This is my forever nail home :) read more

Cobblestone got me in and out quickly, even though I called only about 5 minutes ahead. My nail tech was very sweet and polite, and she got me out in 30 minutes, which is all the time I had. Okay selection of polish, and the decor was basic/generic, but I don't care much about that. I would go there again, as it is my 2nd favorite nail salon in the area. *Please note that they do run your card for the cost of the service, but all tipping must be done in cash. read more

I actually ended up here because the place I used to go had too long of a wait. I was happy to find that this place was just as good and very bright and inviting. I am SOOO disappointed. I used to LOVE this place. Hadn't been in a while because I was living in Scottsdale, but recently moved back to the area and was excited to go here again. Went for the first time last week, the girl sitting next to me was in because her nails had turned yellow and the nail tech was super nice about it and redid her nails. (I believe for no charge) The guy had me put my gel nails under 2x per polish and mine ended up turning yellow a couple days after! (Polish color was a pink/coral so my nails looked like sherbet!) I just went back in to have them redone and they tried to charge me full price! I questioned it and they ended up doing 1/2 off.. I paid and left, and will not return. Upon researching the cause of gel nails turning yellow, it says either too much time under the UV Ray, or cheap nail polish. I'm not sure which one caused this, but I wish they would have taken ownership to make it right. read more

Just had a wonderful pedicure today! I am new to the area but not new to pedicures. Today I decided to walk in and see if I could get a pedicure after months of quarantine. The salon is very careful and took my temperature and had me wash my hands be. Everyone was wearing a mask, both customers and employees. The nail technician, I believe her name is Lee, did an awesome job. My heals, which had suffered during the quarantine, have never been better. When I was leaving I thought I might as well get a lip and chin wax while I was here. The lady that does the waxing was so gentle and thorough. My entire experience here was a great one! Reading these reviews I'd love to receive the service and courtesy they received. I went here first time with a friend of mine who raves about this place. Upon walking in, you immediately notice how much prettier the salon is. Honestly how every salon should be set up. I had very high expectations of this place as it was very nice in appearance and the costs for the services were in my opinion pretty pricey. The gentleman Ken did my toes, super sweet guy, if I just stuck to getting a pedi I may have given this place a better review. My issue was with the gentleman who did my full set and the I feel like owner or maybe manager, who sat to the left of him doing another woman's nails. (He wore a vest and a button up white undershirt) so before deciding I wanted a full set with the gel powder I had the color in my hand it was glitter he said it would be 40$, cool whatever no big deal but when I sat down with THE SAME COLOR I HAD TO BEGIN WITH he tells me "oh that's $10 more for the glitter." Not what you said originally but whatever. He proceeds to start the process I tried talking to him a little bit asking questions like "do people get this on their natural nails?" He replied "would you like to?" Then the manager next to him says "do you want acrylic because once he starts there's no going back," completely rude tone. I said no I want the acrylics and the color. The gentleman continues to do my nails and acrylic part is done I complimented on how pretty they were natural. He said "you could just do the color on the tips" I said "yeah that would be pretty even natural it just looks really good." He proceeds to throw his hands up complete attitude and says "well what do you want to do?" I proceeded to say the color I chose please. He was finishing up and placed the gel top coat, rubs ACETONE on it then buffs it with a file. Then puts another gel top coat and again rubs it with acetone, I told him oh that's acetone, he said yeah I know. Weird could've sworn acetone ruins the manicure, long story short I will not be returning. No client deserves to be spoken to in that manner. read more

Eileen is the best. I refuse to go to anyone else and definitely not anywhere else for my dip manicures. My nails have never been healthy and I've never been able to grow them out. Since moving to the Tempe area about 5 months ago, I have been on the hunt for the perfect salon that I can count on for consistent, high-quality nail services. I am a bit of a perfectionist, and have extremely high expectations for my nails. I have written off about 5 other salons in the area for little things that others may not see as a big deal; but they are to me! I can confidently say that this is the best nail salon in the southern Tempe area. I have been there 3 times now, and have received high quality, friendly, and professional services that exceed my expectations. From their friendly and accommodating receptionist staff, to their nail technicians, they are all great. They do not bat an eye when I change my mind about the color to paint my nails 6 times in 10 minutes, and they are great at interpreting what I want (when sometimes even I don't know what I want!). I had the new girl so take that into consideration. New girl was very nice but should have gotten more guidance from the owners; the language barrier also did not help. I was asked if I wanted the callous remover and I declined, and just said the regular heel scrubbing would be fine. She kept asking 'sugar scrub?' and I kept saying no. I ended up with no scrubbing at all :/ I was reading a magazine and saw out of the corner of my eye that she placed a clipper tool back in her co worker's station... who just finished with someone else's pedicure so it was already used w/o disinfecting before she used it on me. I didn't realize it before it was too late. She also had me walk barefoot to the drying area, no offer of foam flip flops or anything, not even my own. The owner was right next to her and was very pleasant, but he did not stop her when she was having me walk barefoot, just told her to have me sit further towards the front. I know a $20 pedicure is a steal but this was not worth it. I came home and scrubbed my own heels and also noticed the polish was a little messy on the sides of my toes so I fixed that too. Had a lovely experience at Cobblestone Nails. I've driven by it plenty of times without having noticed it. When I went in, I chose my nail color and was immediately taken over to a pedicure station. I was offered a bottle of water - so nice on a hot day! I did have to wait for a nail tech to be free, but honestly, it's better to wait with my feet soaking than in a lobby. For $15 I guess you get what you pay for. Actually it was $20 because when I paid I wasn't offered any change. He just assumed it was his tip & pocketed it. So awkward! Also expect 20-30 minute wait time, appointment in advance didn't really seem to matter. And neither did my nail shape. When I came in they were squared, and before I could clarify that's what I wanted, he had filed off my edges so I guess grounded almond is what I get! The shop was clean, cheap, & convenient for me to get too - so there's my 3 stars. But given a choice I doubt I'll go back. read more

The nail tech was incredibly snippy and rude. He pulled my nail beds several times and burned two of them with the electric file when he was filing down the acrylics. I asked for a coffin shape an received a square shape and when I asked him to fix it, he said he would and did not. After that, I got gel polish, but he only let the gel sit under the light for about 25 seconds, when it should be 60 seconds, so I got lint in the polish as soon as I left the store, and the shine wore down. He rushed the work and I would have rather waited another half hour for someone else to do the work properly. I will not be returning. For $45 the work should be done well and correctly, which it was not. read more

The place is nice but the lady that did my nails gave me horrible services!!! I got a pedicure and manicure done. When she did my pedicure instead of politely asking me to put my feet down she kept pushing my feet. She was so rude!! When she finished she kept saying rushing me to go sit to get me nails done. Had no idea why she was in such a rush.. As she starts doing my nails she kept hurting me and not even saying sorry about it. She couldn't do the design I asked for so she ended up doing some kind of flowers??!! My nails ended up horrible!! Not satisfied with place AT ALL.. To top it off the reason why she was such in a hurry was because I was her last client!! And she charged me $80.00 for a service that for me was not WORTH it at ALL!!! I love this place. Soo, the owner is da bomb! I have been coming to this place since they opened in 2000. I had a bad experience with fungus...yeah, right inside my pinky toe nail when I went in search for another nail salon after I got rid of my fun guy. I get my mani/pedi here for $30. Honestly, I used to spend $52 just on pedicures. I can't sit still for more than an hour, so this place is perfect for me. So, you go in and pick your nail polish (China Glaze, OPI etc). They even have Shellac Gel now for $10 more. I usually bring my own SPAritual (formaldehyde and tolouene free) nail polish so I can touch it up at home. Soo is very ADD about sanitation. If you are still uneasy about the whole thing, buy your own implements at Sally's Beauty Supply for your nail tech to use. My friends get their acrylics here and absolutely love it. I don't have a problem growing my nails out, in fact, they grown out too fast! I call ahead for an appointment. If you don't mind waiting, you can walk in. read more

I came here with my friend to get her nails done and it was just a simple fill and clear coat. The lady was very harsh with my friend and when she was fixing her acrylics she harshly tore apart of the acrylic off from her actual nail. It was completely unexceptable how rude she was to her. While doing her nails the lady bent her arm to get a certain angle of her thumb, yanked my friends arm towards her, and would yell at her multiple times. read more

I am so disappointed in this nail salon. I made an appointment for 6pm, I got there 5 mins late and I didn't get my nails started until 6:45pm and they closed at 7pm. I wanted a fill with classic French and little flower designs. My nail tech said that he could not do it, probably because it was almost closing time. I then proceeded to give him another simple nail design and he said he can try it. He was so incredibly rough with my nails, turning the drill up SO high to the point where I was pulling my hand back because it was hurting. I said "ouch" a couple times, he ignored me and proceeded to keep drilling. I finally got so fed up I just told him to do normal French with no designs. I was there for 2 hours! Theses are the thinnest acrylics I have ever had and will probably snap in a couple of days. I'm so pissed off at this nail salon and do not recommend that anyone goes here. I've been here twice after my last nail place made me wait FOR-EVER and I got fed-up! The staff at Cobblestone are really friendly and personable. They actually treat you like a customer and not just another dollar. The facility is clean and organized and they do really good work. I've had a pedicure and acrylic fill done, and was very pleased with their work. They have tons of great polish colors and the prices are very fair. Honestly I am really disappointed with the service I received from Cobblestone. I went in for a pedicure and had a young man who was clearly new at this. It would have been fine if they had helped him or at least tried fixing all of his mistakes but they didn't. They charged me full price and my calluses are still on my feet and my nails look horrible. I am going to have to spend another $50 getting it fixed somewhere else. Very disappointed in the customer service. They could have at least apologized for his work but they didn't. read more

Su is phenomenal and has given me the best look my nails have ever had. Tina transforms my eyebrows from out of control messes to beautifully shaped accents for my eyes.
