My husband and I tried this place for the first time. It was nice and cozy, but not crowded. We are hooked! The food was wonderful. The previous reviews did this place justice. There is no denying the staff and chefs know their stuff. We had the Huevos Divociados. We were not disappointed. The ladies at the front of house were nice and courteous. We have decided this is our new place to come for breakfast. Oh! Forgot to mention. The Cafe de Olla!!!!! The best I have ever had. Thank you Cocina Morales!!!

Asado de puerco and refried beans. You can order this as appetizer or get it as part of the Comida Corrida.

Amazing and authentic. I had the Comida Corrida which is a small portion of one of their soups (Caldo de Res - Beef Soup or Caldo de Pollo - Chicken soup) and then one of their meat dishes - asado de puerco (pork shoulder pieces in a delicious sauce made with different chiles usually) or guisado de res (sliced beef in savory sauce). They served it with refried beans, yummy rice and delicious homemade tortillas. The flour tortilla is huge!! If you go, ask for the spicy salsas - green and red. My husband enjoyed his cafe de olla and the gordita de azucar (think of a heartier and drier pancake). They are must try! Service was amazing as well. New favorite place for sure! Sorry I enjoyed the food so much forgot to get any pictures except one.

The hunger pangs hit and I just happened to be near this place. I've only seen it in passing but haven't really seen much chatter on the local foodie pages on social media or on here. I arrived around the end of breakfast and there wasn't much of a crowd inside. Parking was easy right out front. I was a little confused at the ordering process. Was it counter service or table service? No one really pointed me in the right direction until my waitress Claudia told me to have a seat and she would be helping me. She did an amazing job from start to finish. I was expecting just a taco joint, but they have lots more to offer on their menu. They have gorditas, tostadas, tortas, burritos, quesadillas, burgers, breakfast items, soup and entrees. They also have your usual drinks options along with agua frescas, shakes, juices, margartitas and beers. I was torn between breakfast and lunch so I decided to try both. I went with the dish that has the same name as the restaurant. Tacos Toreados came with 3 tacos with a protein of your choice on a flour tortillas and what makes these different was that they came with grilled onions and mozzarella cheese. I also went with a bacon and egg taco just so I can really judge the place. What I didn't expect was how massive the tacos were going to be. I got mine with pastor and fajitas. It looked more like a tostada with the toppings covering the whole surface of the tortilla. The fajita and pastor was seasoned beautifully and was very tasty. The onions were sauteed just right but I do like raw onions and cilantro on my tacos a little better. The cheese was a nice addition as well. I barely got through two and on the third I just ate the meat. I saved just enough room to try the breakfast taco which was very good. Washed it all down with a Mexican Coke. This place is very close to my house and I will most definitely be back to make my way through their menu.

The tortillas? Greasy enough to leave fingerprints on your soul. Crispy on the outside, sure--but in that "I've been sitting under a heat lamp questioning my life choices" way. One bite and oil drips like it's trying to escape the crime scene. The meat is usually overcooked to the point where chewing feels like a personal challenge. Any natural flavor is gone, replaced with "salt + fry + regret." And don't get me started on the salsa: nuclear-level spicy, not because it's nuanced, but because pain is the only thing left to feel. Tacos toreados aren't about balance, craft, or love. They're about chaos. They're the taco equivalent of yelling "¡ÁMONOS!" and making bad decisions at 2 a.m. Delicious? Sometimes. Refined? Never. They exist purely to punish sobriety and reward drunk confidence. Still gonna eat them? Yeah. Proud of it? Absolutely not.

MY friend ordered the Brunch Sandwich which looked awesome. deep dive deets: The birria Hash, was way more potatoes than hash, it was better describe as lightly smushed baby potatoes, which was way more than the birria. -1 This Birria had a tad fat on it, not the kind of birria I'm use to. I did asked and was told that their's no fat. However, it wasn't much to complain about. (-1 uncooked onions could've been on the side) -1 I requested NO ice in my matcha, and ice on the side. I received a glass full, and when I received my replacement without ice, it was half a glass. Something about measurements. It was fantastic nonetheless. +1 I love that Christin gave me a future suggestion about the waffle; which the kid waffle is the same thing, but comes with a side for less. -1 I couldn't believe that a plain waffle w/sugar was $11, and to add fruit was nearly a $3 add on. +1 I like that my table guest was able to sub the sausage patty for extra beacon. Fun place to enjoy brunchy with friends or fam…read more Came here for the first time with some fellow Elite Yelpers for brunch. Love that they have a DJ right at the front door setting the mood for the place. Service- was good. Our server Savannah managed our large party to best of her ability. The place was pretty full. Which I knew it would be. It's definitely a fun party atmosphere. Seating is mostly inside but they do have a smallish patio outside. Which they really should work on. Half the tables outside did not have any chairs. On a nice day, it's a place to double customers. Food- I got the Basic AF breakfast which was pretty tasty and you get to sample a good amount. Comes with 4 small pancakes, eggs your way, 1 meat choice, and potatoes. The potatoes surprised me, as they look so unassuming but are very tasty. If in the area would not mind returning.
