Passed half way through and bottles not clean l.

This place claims to cook their beef fajita tacos in charcoal "tacos al carbon" but unfortunately this is false, instead the meat is cooked in oil. Very low quality grade ingredients.... Ordered a queso and I was served canned melted nacho cheese and the bottles they bring the salsa are pretty much empty and not very clean.

Inside the restaurant I found this sign.

Great service, Good traditional Mexican food, Mom and Pop Ambiance relaxing. Looks like a hole in the wall. Best place to get Mexican food you grew up with.

Had the beef tacos al carbon, beef was not tender and to be honest I don't think beef was fajita. It was was pretty dry. This is the third time we tried this place and sad to say never coming back. The beans and rice was probably the best tasting on my plate.

Warm and welcoming. We were seated right away. Food was hot and flavorful. The food was so good we cleaned the plate. Every plate was affordable, decent prices compared to other places. They also have Taco Tuesday $1 tacos. Service was top notch, friendly staff and store was clean. Highly recommend. Would definitely come back again.

Yummmmmm !! I had the Mixto plate for lunch.... beef fajita gordita, beef fajita street taco, and a beef fajita quesadilla with rice and beans for only $11.99 on their lunch special menu. Can't wait to come back !!!

I enjoyed excellent authentic Mexican food, including freshly made tortillas de maíz prepared on the spot. For breakfast, I had three eggs served with a slice of fajita and grilled potatoes, refried beans. The tortillas were warm and handmade to perfection. There were three salsa options available, ranging from mild to hot. The prices are very reasonable, and I highly recommend this restaurant. I had to return for lunch Caldo De Res was cooked to perfection The prices are very reasonable, and I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great food, great service not much more you can ask for in a Mexican restaurant! Their fajita/carne meat is amazing, nice char and well seasoned. Can't be beat! Specials are a nice thing as it seems like they change daily. The service there is so friendly and they really try hard to make sure you are taken care of. One of the best if not the best Mexican restaurants is Pearland.

If they provide better coffee from real coffee beans, that would be sweet. However, the breakfast is very good.

The food was great. If you do dine-in be prepared to wait. Not sure because it was busy that day but that was our first time experience.

Awesome hole in the wall with bomb salsas. Food is fresh and tortillas are homemade. It was worth the drive.

If you would like to avoid the rush on Sundays, stop before 11 AM. We arrived at 11AM. They gave us a timer & we waited at the bar. 15 minute wait took only a few minutes. If you are unsure what to order, try out their brunch. My favorite is pozole Verde. It is chicken and it does give you a slight kick in taste. If you are searching for less spice try the carnitas (pork). Their eggs are also relatively calm and easy to handle. I really also enjoy their coffee, café de olla. It is served with an authentic pottery mug. Their soup bowls are also in this same style. Arroz con leche ( creamy rice pudding with cinnamon) is very good. I also love their cute small pasty that looks like a funnel and taste like bunuelos (sweet crunchy rice cake with cinnamon). Great ambience and it feels like you are in a festive place.

Bottom line, plenty of spaces. Side note, they're not all spaced the way you might expect. Walking in, the place was hopping. Much more crowded than the former business. Pretty good sized menu. They serve you the red salsa, but you can ask for the green. The kind that gives you heart burn for hours. Worth it. Both salsa were great, chips were fresh. We ordered house margaritas, and those were also very good. Pricing was average. For food we ordered the parrillada El Malecon. Mixed beef and chicken, with ribs and quail. Here's where things went a little rough. We ordered the "for two" but the entire was still in a " for one" portion. 3 pieces of steak, 3 chicken, one quail 2 rib portions. Definitely seemed off. The manager came by, and we discussed. On THEIR menu, the double portion is only 4 strips of steak, 4 of chicken, still only one quail, and two rib portions. The reasoning we were given is that people don't seem to like the quail. First, nothing about this is "for two." For 45.99 this isn't it. The chicken and beef were good, the quail was not seasoned well unfortunately, and the ribs were over sauced with a cheap syrupy sauce. Overall food was a no. But here's where I also have to give credit. They stuck with their defense, and while we discussed someone brought a plate of chicken and beef. While we weren't going to ask for anything, we do appreciate their thoughtfulness and speedy resolution. Maybe they knew it was coming , or maybe they just jumped ahead to make it work. Either way, we appreciated that effort. Overall, service was great, food was 50/50. Wouldn't do the parrilladas again, but would try other menu items.

This location in Pearland is near a shopping center and has plenty of parking all around. The inside is well decorated and has high ceilings and well-made furniture, plus there is quite a bit of seating so even when it is busy there is a good bit of room. We went shortly before 5pm on a weekend and only had to wait a few minutes to get a table. You can tell by how busy it stays that this is a popular place. I opted for the Plato Soldado (soldier plate) since they were running a Memorial Day/July 4th deal where a small donation was made for every order. It included a steak fajita taco, cheese enchilada, and pork tamale. All were excellent and there was plenty of steak inside. The sides were also great. My wife got the El Dorado (chicken smothered with sauce and other toppings) and really enjoyed hers. We also got some cheese dip and enjoyed plenty of chips, plus they give you some other sauces besides just salsa. All of their prices are quite reasonable and service was very quick, so I get why this place is so popular. Definitely check them out if you are in the Houston area, as they have many locations.
