Place was nice and clean, I ordered the quesabirria and it was very delicious. The tortilla had a nice crunchy texture and it went very cell with the limón, cebolla, and cilantro. I love asado and haven't found too many restaurants in the Houston area that serve it. I was happy to see they have an asado plate and at a reasonable price. I ordered ahead and my food was ready like 15 minutes or so sooner than anticipated. It was empty inside and fairly close to closing time. I thought about eating there but am glad I didn't. It would've been a bit awkward, there were employees, all males, each sitting at a different table and it was super quiet. The food was good enough for me to return. Meat was tender and seasoned pretty well. Rice was over cooked. Beans tasted a little overcooked as well. The food was good but basically tasted a little like end of the day/not fresh batch food. I've also had their birria tacos door dashed and have tried a Gordita. Very good and just the right size and prize. Not too big or expensive. Food's taste is solid. Had the birria tacos. Service is fine. But GOD is it overpriced. Got 3 tacos(used to get 4), They're 30% smaller than they used to be. Had them and a drink. $24!! Go anywhere else. I can think of a dozen places around here without getting gypped on the price that hard. read more

Do yourself a favor & avoid this place at all costs. It's overpriced & disgusting. Ordered two barbacoa tacos with flour tortillas (which they charge more for since they're usually bigger) & a fajita torta for $23. The tacos were small for the price & were dripping grease & had NO meat. If you're charging $3.50+ for a tiny taco, at least fill it up. It was lined with less meat than a flauta! I went back to ask for a refund or at least put more meat bc the torta was literally nothing but lettuce & the guy said "No, that's how it comes." & that it was greasy bc it was barbacoa & that's how it is. If you know good barbacoa then you know that's not true. ALL of it was inedible garbage. Including the service bc if the customer is not happy for what they PAID FOR & YOU KNOW YOU ARE WRONG, fix it!! This place is always empty & now I can see why. They won't last there. The only reason we went in is bc it was near the haircut place & they have a long list on the window of a variety of breakfast tacos & when we went in to order he said " ohh we don't do breakfast tacos." DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT! THEY RIPPED ME OFF! After searching high and low for a place to get hot food after the hurricane. I stumbled across this restaurant. I used the last of the cash I had to order food for me and my family , 5 fajita tacos and 1 burrito which I planned to split between two people. After viewing the photo of the burrito at the front counter I believed it would be sizable enough to be shared. Once I received my food I realized how very wrong I was. The size of the burrito was an absolute joke! For $11 I received a burrito no bigger than the palm of my very small hand with MAYBE a half cup of rice, beans, and beef inside. A frozen burrito from 7/11 would have been more filling for much less money. During a time like this when your community is struggling, it is disheartening to know that you would rip them of in such a way. Shame on you! I will never visit this location again and I advise against it for anyone else. read more

Pastor is good, uniquely spiced. Slightly too salty, but delicious. Fajita is excellent. Best part, is NO GRISTLE, like most taco shops. Everything comes with cilantro, lime, onion. Traditional and great Also ordered chips and salsa. The salsa is super watery with an excellent flavor. Very spicy. Charro beans were great as well. Will be coming back. Small unassuming place but cute inside. There was a bad smell, not sure what it was but I almost turned around and walked out. Got fajita tacos. I always taste the meat by itself before adding condiments and what not, it tasted ok to good. The red and green sauces are excellent. It came with basically a shot glass of what they call charro beans, but it had a lot of what looked like chopped up hot dogs in it....disgusting. I felt like it was MAYBE $1-2 over priced. Prices are high for what you get. Originally came in to try the birria tacos, but after seeing they start at $16, I opted for a burrito instead which came out to about $12. As others have pointed out their burritos are pitifully small and as such should cost no more than $6. Their menu photos are deceptive. Whoever makes the burritos doesn't know how to properly make them either; one end was heavy with rice and the other heavy with veggies. It's like instead of scooping everything on top of each other before rolling, they scooped everything side by side and then rolled it. So you get a mouthful of essentially one thing rather than a mix of everything when you eat it. I don't like to review a place based off one experience, but the prices aren't worth going back to try anything else, so I'm being generous with the establishment by giving 3 stars for that one star burrito they gave me. read more

All types of people frequent this restaurant, sometimes those who look unhoused stop by as well. The restaurant had an slightly off smell to it this time, but nothing unexpected, I mean it is a taco restaurant. If I can recall correctly the restrooms are clean. The cashier both times was a Hispanic man. The cook in the back seemed to be another Hispanic man. Service is normal, not good not bad. They have special prices if you use cash. This time, it was $15.00 cash for 4 Quesabirria tacos, while if I bought 3 with card it would've been a little over $15 with tax. The tacos are small as are most tacos from taco places, a little smaller than the size of my hand. A little overpriced with their menu, but not the worst. Great ladies at the counter, the torta I got was okay. I ordered the barbacoa with flour tortillas. The tortilla was delicious but the meat was a bit dry and not juicy. I ate lunch here Wednesday (11/16) solo, it was easy to find and there was ample parking. I ordered 5 street tacos with birria and barbacoa with a Topo for a whopping $16.23 before tip. I requested no cilantro as a garnish because I am one of those soap people, but the basket came out with a heap of cilantro mixed in with the onions. That's ok I am accustom to picking it out as needed. The meat was so greasy it was hard to pick up the tacos, the barbacoa was ok maybe not the freshest but ok nonetheless. The birria was a whole different story; there were globs of fat which took up half or more of the tiny tacos, and my last taco was simply fat chunks and a poker chip sized bone. I was disappointed to say the least, perhaps it was an off day, but there are better options with better prices. read more

Tacos Los Parientes has the best Birria Tacos I've had so far. The beef they use is really great quality and sometimes has a little bit of fat that gives it that extra flavor. The cheese they use is amazing too idk what exactly about it is different but it's just better than most of the cheeses I've had on other Tacos. Definitely add the onions, lime, cilantro, and green salsa to your Birria Taco before you dig in. Glad I came all the way out here to try this place out. Highly recommended it.
