Incredible food, I was very surprised. Meat is flavorful and salsas have a kick. Worth the good reviews.

I was lured here by the amazing yelp reviews but was very disappointed. So disappointed that I considered leaving and getting tacos elsewhere. The place was empty, that should have been my first sign. The taco meat seemed to be old and just quickly heated up. Limes were dry. Salsa wasn't anything to rave about. Not sure if the 5 star yelp reviews were fake. But I am happy to say I will never be back and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered the beef Birra Tacos They were very good! Crunchy and filling! I would definitely order from here again. Food was delivered fast and hot!

Look at that LINE of meat vs tortilla ratio

Do yourself a favor & avoid this place at all costs. It's overpriced & disgusting. Ordered two barbacoa tacos with flour tortillas (which they charge more for since they're usually bigger) & a fajita torta for $23. The tacos were small for the price & were dripping grease & had NO meat. If you're charging $3.50+ for a tiny taco, at least fill it up. It was lined with less meat than a flauta! I went back to ask for a refund or at least put more meat bc the torta was literally nothing but lettuce & the guy said "No, that's how it comes." & that it was greasy bc it was barbacoa & that's how it is. If you know good barbacoa then you know that's not true. ALL of it was inedible garbage. Including the service bc if the customer is not happy for what they PAID FOR & YOU KNOW YOU ARE WRONG, fix it!! This place is always empty & now I can see why. They won't last there. The only reason we went in is bc it was near the haircut place & they have a long list on the window of a variety of breakfast tacos & when we went in to order he said " ohh we don't do breakfast tacos." Then hello take off that false advertisement! Still gave them a chance, & ordered something different but in hindsight we should have just left. *ZERO STARS.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT! THEY RIPPED ME OFF! After searching high and low for a place to get hot food after the hurricane. I stumbled across this restaurant. I used the last of the cash I had to order food for me and my family , 5 fajita tacos and 1 burrito which I planned to split between two people. After viewing the photo of the burrito at the front counter I believed it would be sizable enough to be shared. Once I received my food I realized how very wrong I was. The size of the burrito was an absolute joke! For $11 I received a burrito no bigger than the palm of my very small hand with MAYBE a half cup of rice, beans, and beef inside. A frozen burrito from 7/11 would have been more filling for much less money. During a time like this when your community is struggling, it is disheartening to know that you would rip them of in such a way. Shame on you! I will never visit this location again and I advise against it for anyone else.

Killen's down the street had a line out the door. I'm not waiting in lines like a 19 year old trying to get into a club. So I found this place on Yelp. Glad I did! Ordered 5 tacos. Fajita and pastor. Pastor is good, uniquely spiced. Slightly too salty, but delicious. Fajita is excellent. Best part, is NO GRISTLE, like most taco shops. Everything comes with cilantro, lime, onion. Traditional and great Also ordered chips and salsa. The salsa is super watery with an excellent flavor. Very spicy. Charro beans were great as well. Will be coming back. Staff is super friendly.

Good tacos and delicious Quesabirria. Loved the flavors of each. For the tacos I ordered pastor and fajita and preferred the fajita. Quesabirria was super fresh and delicious. Loved the green sauce. Small restaurant with a good parking lot.

Food is good. Like a 9/10. Last time I went, the Quesabirria tacos weren't that good. They were better this time. Probably the best Birria tacos in Pearland/ South Houston. All types of people frequent this restaurant, sometimes those who look unhoused stop by as well. The restaurant had an slightly off smell to it this time, but nothing unexpected, I mean it is a taco restaurant. If I can recall correctly the restrooms are clean. The cashier both times was a Hispanic man. The cook in the back seemed to be another Hispanic man. Service is normal, not good not bad. They have special prices if you use cash. This time, it was $15.00 cash for 4 Quesabirria tacos, while if I bought 3 with card it would've been a little over $15 with tax. The tacos are small as are most tacos from taco places, a little smaller than the size of my hand. A little overpriced with their menu, but not the worst. Took about 10 minutes of waiting for my order. The restaurant's dining area (in front of the cashier) is clean.

This place was so good! The cashier was really nice and attentive. It is a hole in a wall kind of restaurant they just opened 3 months ago but have a lot of potential try this place out for some authentic mexican food.

Great ladies at the counter, the torta I got was okay. I ordered the barbacoa with flour tortillas. The tortilla was delicious but the meat was a bit dry and not juicy. I'm not sure if the reason I went late was the issue as to why it was not great. The price for it was not worth it. I'll give it another try next time.

If you would like to avoid the rush on Sundays, stop before 11 AM. We arrived at 11AM. They gave us a timer & we waited at the bar. 15 minute wait took only a few minutes. If you are unsure what to order, try out their brunch. My favorite is pozole Verde. It is chicken and it does give you a slight kick in taste. If you are searching for less spice try the carnitas (pork). Their eggs are also relatively calm and easy to handle. I really also enjoy their coffee, café de olla. It is served with an authentic pottery mug. Their soup bowls are also in this same style. Arroz con leche ( creamy rice pudding with cinnamon) is very good. I also love their cute small pasty that looks like a funnel and taste like bunuelos (sweet crunchy rice cake with cinnamon). Great ambience and it feels like you are in a festive place.

Bottom line, plenty of spaces. Side note, they're not all spaced the way you might expect. Walking in, the place was hopping. Much more crowded than the former business. Pretty good sized menu. They serve you the red salsa, but you can ask for the green. The kind that gives you heart burn for hours. Worth it. Both salsa were great, chips were fresh. We ordered house margaritas, and those were also very good. Pricing was average. For food we ordered the parrillada El Malecon. Mixed beef and chicken, with ribs and quail. Here's where things went a little rough. We ordered the "for two" but the entire was still in a " for one" portion. 3 pieces of steak, 3 chicken, one quail 2 rib portions. Definitely seemed off. The manager came by, and we discussed. On THEIR menu, the double portion is only 4 strips of steak, 4 of chicken, still only one quail, and two rib portions. The reasoning we were given is that people don't seem to like the quail. First, nothing about this is "for two." For 45.99 this isn't it. The chicken and beef were good, the quail was not seasoned well unfortunately, and the ribs were over sauced with a cheap syrupy sauce. Overall food was a no. But here's where I also have to give credit. They stuck with their defense, and while we discussed someone brought a plate of chicken and beef. While we weren't going to ask for anything, we do appreciate their thoughtfulness and speedy resolution. Maybe they knew it was coming , or maybe they just jumped ahead to make it work. Either way, we appreciated that effort. Overall, service was great, food was 50/50. Wouldn't do the parrilladas again, but would try other menu items.

The hunger pangs hit and I just happened to be near this place. I've only seen it in passing but haven't really seen much chatter on the local foodie pages on social media or on here. I arrived around the end of breakfast and there wasn't much of a crowd inside. Parking was easy right out front. I was a little confused at the ordering process. Was it counter service or table service? No one really pointed me in the right direction until my waitress Claudia told me to have a seat and she would be helping me. She did an amazing job from start to finish. I was expecting just a taco joint, but they have lots more to offer on their menu. They have gorditas, tostadas, tortas, burritos, quesadillas, burgers, breakfast items, soup and entrees. They also have your usual drinks options along with agua frescas, shakes, juices, margartitas and beers. I was torn between breakfast and lunch so I decided to try both. I went with the dish that has the same name as the restaurant. Tacos Toreados came with 3 tacos with a protein of your choice on a flour tortillas and what makes these different was that they came with grilled onions and mozzarella cheese. I also went with a bacon and egg taco just so I can really judge the place. What I didn't expect was how massive the tacos were going to be. I got mine with pastor and fajitas. It looked more like a tostada with the toppings covering the whole surface of the tortilla. The fajita and pastor was seasoned beautifully and was very tasty. The onions were sauteed just right but I do like raw onions and cilantro on my tacos a little better. The cheese was a nice addition as well. I barely got through two and on the third I just ate the meat. I saved just enough room to try the breakfast taco which was very good. Washed it all down with a Mexican Coke. This place is very close to my house and I will most definitely be back to make my way through their menu.

The tortillas? Greasy enough to leave fingerprints on your soul. Crispy on the outside, sure--but in that "I've been sitting under a heat lamp questioning my life choices" way. One bite and oil drips like it's trying to escape the crime scene. The meat is usually overcooked to the point where chewing feels like a personal challenge. Any natural flavor is gone, replaced with "salt + fry + regret." And don't get me started on the salsa: nuclear-level spicy, not because it's nuanced, but because pain is the only thing left to feel. We went shortly before 5pm on a weekend and only had to wait a few minutes to get a table. You can tell by how busy it stays that this is a popular place. I opted for the Plato Soldado (soldier plate) since they were running a Memorial Day/July 4th deal where a small donation was made for every order. It included a steak fajita taco, cheese enchilada, and pork tamale. All were excellent and there was plenty of steak inside. The sides were also great. My wife got the El Dorado (chicken smothered with sauce and other toppings) and really enjoyed hers.
