This is my favorite bar in town. Unfortunately this Marty guy bought it and is slowly running it into the ground. He remodeled and it's not as cozy as it used to be. The vibe is different, liquor selection has suffered and staff keeps changing. Something is wrong with the cable and they can't get good sports. If it wasn't for Hailey, I'd be gone. They have run off staff, lots of regular customers and severely damaged their reputation. It's hard to get people to meet you there these days. Just had an amazing sausage roll. Had a garlic butter over the top of the roll. It was perfectly cocked inside and out. You can get it with their garlic butter sauce or a barbecue sauce. I had the barbecue sauce and it was awesome. I wish I would have taken a picture of it before I ate it. Maybe next time. read more

I called on a Friday with a request to make a reservation for a Saturday night 7pm dinner with some friends. The staff was great at taking my info, and super friendly. The restaurant was quiet upon arrival; my party of 5 people were seated right away and was given menus for food and drinks. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and a good sport. I believe he was the only person working the floor. The drinks were great and our food was also good everyone seemed happy with our selections. About 9pm the place is packed and loud, kinda hard to have a conversation. Will definitely be back, the sausage roll was amazing. read more

Cocktails is a bit hard to find. It's located next to the Dairy Queen on the corner of Maplecrest and Stellhorn (next to Big Lots). The first thing I noticed was the relaxed layout. One corner is dedicated to a lounge like environment, compete with a couch, chairs, and a coffee table. They also have the usual set of bar stools, tables and booths. A fireplace sits in the middle. The entire place is nicely lit with dim overhangs. Overall, the atmosphere is retro and comfortable. The menu is somewhat limited, sausage rolls and such. But the food is perfect for a snack. Like the name suggests, this is a place to come to drink with friends. The prices are fair. A few more draft choices would be nice, but overall it's a great place to get away for a few drinks. read more

This is the best bar in Fort Wayne, hands down. It's a total dive, but once you're there you wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The sausage rolls are tied for the best in town (IMO). The lounge is like your own living room but better, bc they serve you in there. It's so comfortable! If I lived on that end of town, I'd be there every night. read more

Went in once because they had a particularly hard to find beer on tap that I was after. However the owner refused to accept my passport as a form of ID. He was honestly just mean & disrespectful about it, talking to me like I was stupid for even considering showing him a passport as a form of ID. As a lounge/bar it's pretty chill. Good environment. Food is ok. The sausage roll isn't ground sausage but small chunks. I like that. Their grinder is pretty decent. But their sides are lacking a bit. Get a shiner block and a sausage roll, and you're good! read more

We really like this place. No blaring music, nice relaxed bar, huge martini menu. We have had several pizzas and burger platter and they are pretty good. Not high cuisine but good food reasonably priced. Great place to take friends and have good conversations without having to shout. read more

Worst place I have been in in a long time, stay away!!! We went in with high hopes, and were thinking if this worked out we could have our next family birthday party here. Instead, it was awful. The place reeked of bleach cleaner (my boyfriend commented he hoped someone did not just get sick and they were cleaning it up). The older lady that waiting on us had to be prompted for everything, as she was no where as interested in waiting on us as she was in talking to the two guys at the bar that were shouting at a baseball game on one of the tvs. Horrible atmosphere. We did not get menus until a good 10 minutes after seating. We had to ask for drink menus, food menus, what specials were, etc. The drinks were good, but the food was bland and yuck. The foccacia pizza had next to no taste - and the barbeque sauce for the Mr. Big pulled pork sandwich was gross, more like slimy salad dressing. We had to ask for water and even though we asked never got refills. We would have ordered more drinks if she could have bothered to ever check back on us. It took an hour and a half. This was when it was pretty empty - and I can see why now. How it got a good newspaper review I will never know - you have been warned, this place will take your time and money and give you horrible food - run away now.
