    4 Piece Chicken Tenders
    Ulyana K.

I am surprised I enjoyed this place as much as I did. On one hand, it's a pretty standard chicken shop. But on the other, it just nails what it does so well. Every item I had I just really enjoyed. It was simply well made food. I tried the 4 piece chicken tenders with ranch and Southern sauce, mac and cheese, and banana pudding. The chicken was delicious. Beautiful white meat. It was coated in a nice house seasoning. They have a spicier seasoning, but I enjoyed their house seasoning not being excessively hot. The pieces were large. The chicken was still moist and the tenders were reasonably crunchy. Both of the sauces were very tasty. The Southern sauce had a hint of sweetness and creaminess to it. Would recommend if you're not big on spice. They had a piece of bread and pickles served with the meal but that was a bit meh. The Mac and cheese just tasted nostalgic. Nothing too fancy or crazy about it, but it was well made. Cheesy and not too oily like most places make their Mac n cheese. A tad artificial, but I still enjoyed it. The banana pudding was also really good. It doesn't have an overwhelming flavorful and it's not too sweet. Great creamy texture. Very good; definitely hit the sweet spot. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this spot for a reasonably cheap dinner of delicious chicken and sides.

Examples of menu items are chicken and waffles, grits, sandwiches, salads, loaded fries, and wings. I was a customer here once for takeout. The restaurant has two floors--the first floor with a gorgeous library, which I think would be a great spot for kids to study and adults to work, and the second floor with a bar and party space for private events. One of the owners promptly greeted me, took my order and payment, and made pleasant conversation while I waited for my foods to be cooked. She showed me the cool lit-up selfie spot near the bathroom mirror and door. I ordered the Troomy Chicken Club (grilled chicken tenders, bacon, troomy sauce, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, and onion) with a side of Loaded Fries and also six Whole Wings with my chosen flavor of parmesan. All three foods were very fresh and tasty very good, but I would recommend adding a bit more parmesan to the wings.

Their fall cocktail list was incredible -- I tried the Pumpkin Spice Martini, Hilltop Harvest Sangria, both full of great flavor! They're known for their famous Troomy Sauce, so of course I had to try a few dishes featuring it! The pickle chips with Troomy sauce were perfectly crisp and flavorful, and the loaded fries were a perfect shareable appetizer. The Honey Nut Bacon Salad was another standout -- light, fresh, and full of flavor!

The poor bartender had to run all over the restaurant. He had to ring you up, make drinks, bring people their food, fix their games and handle any drama that came up on the games. He was so nice and gave great service. The French fries with cheese,, bbq and fried chicken was good. I love a lot of condiments normally but this was a bit much. I enjoyed it but would have preferred a fried chicken sandwich. My husband said the fried chicken and Seasoned Crinkle Fries were excellent. Would like to go back to play duck pin bowling and the awesome video games. I bet it would be fun.

Service was fine, everyone was helpful and quick. The ambiance is incredible. Old cartoon characters and stylish variety throughout the place. The issue is the games are outrageously priced. Compare this to Pins where the games are free and it's a no question in my mind where I would go for an arcade night. My fear is that despite decent food and an awesome atmosphere this place will be closed when their greed with their games comes back to bite them. I wish them well but have decided after a few trips, I've had my last

The level of customization might be a draw for some. For me, to have no "signatures" or recommendations, no preferred combinations, and just a sort of "pick it" approach for this feels strange. Asked for some direction, was basically told "no." They specialize in hot chicken and customization - but it feels like they are clearly missing a refreshing option beyond the Dill Pickle. Could see if I didn't want to "feel a burn" and wasn't big on pickles looking at very plain options. Frankly, they need someone new on the register. Other reviews mention poor service that way. I echo their feelings. Underwhelmed and turned off by them. Also, this is overpriced. Getting a diet coke for $3.5 is aggressive but at any restaurant I'd understand - get me free refills, fine. But to be handed a single can for that cost felt awful. Feel like they've taken that approach across cost and experience across the board. It's upsetting. If they really switch things up, I'd reconsider trying this spot again. Chicken was good and in the salad it was fine. I see potential. But I'm not coming back for the cost or the service here. You should skip it too.

I don't typically get the food because it's a little pricey, but I has the opportunity to sit down long enough to order food. I ended up getting the Cory Muro from Given to Fly! The sandwich rocked! It was a giant chicken breast tossed in buffalo sauce with Parmesan on top. It wasn't too spicy which allowed for the buffalo flavor to shine. After the tax and tip the sandwich was priced at around $18. I personally wouldn't order this every time because of the price but it was a nice treat. Definitely made for a great experience while watching the pirates on the tv!
