Ordered carry out from here last night for our anniversary for a low key night at home. Definitely not the big to-do we normally do, but such is life in the times of Covid. The food from Coco Bella was the star of the evening! This was our first time getting food from here and it was delicious and plentiful! We split the chicken parm and though they were out of filets, they made us a 14oz strip steak fungetto style. We also ordered the arancini. The arancini come 2 to an order, but they are as big as my fist, and so crispy on the outside. The chicken parm was delicious, and huge! The strip steak was cooked perfectly, and the mashed potatoes were awesome. Everything came with a salad and what appeared to be a whole loaf's worth or garlic knots too. Someone mentioned in a previous review that the dressing was sweet. I personally didn't find it sweet, just nice and vinegary like Italian dressing should be. We will be getting 3 meals out of our single take out order, and the prices seemed in line with other Italian style places in the area. We will definitely order take out again, and will visit in restaurant once things settle down a bit. They also have family style meals listed on their website that looks delicious and nicely priced. My husband and I went to coco Bella's this past Saturday for the first time. I debated on writing a review, but a week later and our time there is still on my mind. We were greeted at the door by one of the waitresses but who I'm assuming was the manager stepped in front of her and cut her off to seat us. There were no tables left so we sat at the bar. The food was excellent and so was the service! The only complaint we had was the way the "manager" spoke to the other servers. One server asked for help in which she replied "no" and as the girl walked off she said "do your own job". I've been a manger for close to 20 years now and never would I speak to one of my employees that way. She said "I have enough jobs" which rubbed me the wrong way because a manager is supposed to manage, you're supposed to do it all. I don't know how those ladies put up with attitude like that. The manager is supposed to lead and help their staff, not put them down. Shortly after that the same server was on the phone with a customer and the manager told her to "hurry up". The way she belittled the other waitresses and talked to them did upset me because the other servers had such great team work and were kind to each other. Everything was great except that woman's attitude. I feel like without a review, that woman will continue to be a bully. On a more positive note, the sauce was extremely flavorful! Our dinner portions were very large my husband and I both had lunch for the next day! The pistachio ricotta cake is a must. We will definitely be coming back! read more

Not bad food, but not great either. Salad and Meatballs were both good. Honestly, I loved the salad dressing, i believe it's some kind of House Italian? (Not positive we didn't dine in, we ordered take out) whatever it was, it was great. The Italian wedding soup appears to be homemade which we loved, but it was a tad salty. Take out for the family, couldn't have been better. Salads were fresh, meals stayed hot while we ate the salads. What a WOW . . . definitely Breaksville's best kept secret. This wonderful little restaurant was recommended by friends and did not disappoint. Our party of eight was greeted by owner Jamie and cared for by a very attentive waitress named Amy. Took a party of six to dinner. Kelsey G was an excellent waitress but entrees were mediocre at best - every thing was under seasoned and for the most part tasteless. The bread looked good but also under seasoned top crust very tough, you couldn't cut it. Salads and desserts were good 4-star. Sorry to say we won't go back. My wife and I, who are visiting this area for a few days, had the good fortune of finding this home-style Italian restaurant in a Cleveland suburb. It is owned and operated by a husband and wife team who care about the food and care that it makes you happy. I was made VERY happy. The two entrees we had could have fed four. And the food quality surpassed by far the food of some much more established, and much more expensive Italian restaurants. Very disappointing. My lady friend and her two grandchildren went for dinner, hoping that the new occupant of the place formerly occupied by Giuseppe's would be a worthy successor. First, the wine I ordered was not available. Instead of the Chianti Classico, we were served a Chianti Superiore at the same price. And it was at least 80 degrees in temperature. I ordered chicken piccata. Chicken was tough and way too lemony. My partner order the salmon francaise. Taste was overly fishy, identical to old or improperly stored fish. The granddaughters split an order of lasagna which proved to be quite good. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I doubt we will return. read more

Me and my family went there on 3/5 and we had a blast. My husband got the ravioli and me and my son got the linguine it was so good that the leftovers didn't make it by Sunday. My son loves there food and he highly recommends the linguine. 5/5 100% will return soon read more

Wonderful restaurant! I came here with a friend yesterday and the ladies that were serving us were very attentive and patient with our questions about the menu. I ordered the arancini as an appetizer, which along with the garlic rolls had already filled me up. But the ravioli dish I ordered was AMAZING. It was one of the best ravioli dishes and in general Italian dishes I have had. The sauce is especially excellent. The portion size was huge so I was excited to take leftovers home. The wine was also great and cheap during happy hour! I'm not from the area but when I come back, I would go out of my way to dine here again. Stellar service and food! read more

This little hole- in- the- wall did not disappoint! I ordered the shrimp capellini...it was perfectly prepared with artichokes, mushrooms and just the right amount of sauce. The Rasberry Beret cocktail... named for the lone waitresses'/hostesses's most favorite entertainer (Prince) was a delicious surprise! I also had the homemade meatballs as an appetizer... yum! The buttery, crusty, homemade bread comes out first... don't eat too much of it... though you will definitely be tempted, as you won't have room for the entree. read more

I was looking forward to trying this, but I am disappointed. The first thing I noticed that put me off was the building. It definitely needs updated and the parking is a little sketchy, too. Walking in, it was just my boyfriend and myself and two large parties walked in with us. The "hostess" (if she can even be called that) barely acknowledged us. Several servers yelled across the restaurant that they would be right with us. We finally got seated, but it took forever for a server to walk over to us to get our drink orders in and it was not even that crowded. We each got a beer, I was thinking it would be on draft, but we got bottles which is fine, but at a nice restaurant with full bar, I would've expected at least a few microbrews on tap. Now this is the part that is completely unacceptable that leads to my 2 star review. We waited a good 20 minutes I would say to even place our food order. No bread in the meantime, no nothing. Yes there were only a few servers but the restaurant is not that big to where it should've taken this long. I'm pretty much finished with my beer at this point because it's taking so long. I fit in a trip to the restroom, which by the way, is filthy and also needs severe updates (BF said the same about the men's room). Finally we get our salads with house dressing, which were very good, and bread which was alright, but that batch did taste a little over cooked to me. Then we waited for the entrees quite a while after that, at this point we were there for almost two hours. I got some sort of veal/Italian sausage dish in sauce over garlic mashed potatoes, which was excellent and one of the only positive parts of this experience. My BF got chicken piccata and he is a true Italian, and he was disappointed. He had a couple grisly pieces of chicken in his dish and he said he's had better-flavored chicken piccata in his life. He did get a side of pasta too which he didn't know about so he took that home. I tasted a forkful of the red sauce dipped in bread and it was good. We got cannoli for dessert, good but definitely purchased from somewhere else and not made there and the filling tasted too much like sour cheese for me instead of sweet, which I think cannolis should be. Breakdown of ratings: Food - 4, Atmosphere - 3, Service - 1, Overall - 2 Although the food was good, it is completely unacceptable that we were there over 2 hours when it wasn't even that busy. At least we had a coupon, and I do not feel bad at all about using it because of how bad the service was. I can't imagine this place lasting very long, it was a Saturday night and they were nowhere near capacity. I definitely will not be returning to this place unless major improvements are made to service and the building. read more

Had an unforeseen tragedy that closed the restaurant that was originally supposed to host an anniversary party for 20. I called Coco Bella two days before the event in hopes that they could accommodate my group. They were super helpful and very willing to do anything they could to accommodate us. Ok, so we have now been here for dinner 4-5 times and the food is incredibly good. Brecksville is now the proud proveyers of a really good Italian Bistro. If you were a fan of Jimmy D's in Solon this will bring back some memories. The Garlic Knots are truly a reason to go. Everything is fresh and their sauces have just the right spice. The decor is simple, but works, there is a full bar, but we always get a table. Very family friendly, as we almost always see a table with several generations enjoying themselves. If your looking for a new go to restaurant in Brecksville I highly recommend you give these guys a try. We will be back soon read more

This is one of the best hidden secrets in Brecksville! The home made bread is the best I've ever had, and the Alfredo penne is 'to die for'. Everything is homemade and the best of ingredients.. Just such a shame that, what we assumed were the owners, were absolutely beyond rude. 3 of us came in at 4pm to send off my friend who was moving to Texas, were told that there was a reservation at 7 and we had to be out, which was fine. After spending over $150 and 2 bottles of wine and tipping over 20%, at 6:15 we were demanded to leave as we were "disturbing the surrounding tables." We were celebrating so I understand that maybe we were being too loud, but I couldn't help but notice that I was the only not white person in the entire restaurant. There is a big difference being told to quiet down and being told "you paid your tab now leave right now," which were the words from the owner. Great food, absolutely awful experience. This was the worst Italian restaurant we have been to in a long time. My husband loves mussels, so he ordered that as an appetize-they were large and plump. He ate 3, and could not eat more because they were salty and didn't taste right. He was sick for three days after. I ordered fried mozzarella which was dry and just okay. The waitress was unknowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. The two types of wine we were considering, a Chianti and a Merlot, neither was available. My husband ordered a gin and tonic-zero to little gin, mostly tonic. We called it quits at that point and left. We were to afraid to try our luck with the main course. read more
