As for the teas, its decent in a pinch but I wouldn't consider this spot a destination. On the brightside, they have a good variety of flavors that include popular ones in demand such as taro, brown sugar, and oolong. In addition they usually have a slew of seasonal items, so pay attention to the signage. On the plus side, they're open later than almost all the other boba joints in the hood and typically close around 11pm. As a result, I end up here far more often than I want to, but when desperate for a boba, they always come through. This is a no frills Coco location. Honestly, most bubble tea spots don't specialize in "frills", but that's okay when the tea is flowing sweetly. One medium milk tea with boba later and I was hooked. So the bubble credit goes to this little corner Coco spot. Flash forward to the other day, walking from Spring Shabu Shabu over to Coco. It's amazing how many bubble tea places are located in just one block. So what makes Coco so special? Truthfully, no idea. It's become preference for me (in that area) more than anything else. Though, perhaps the fact that none of those other storefronts had many customers was a sign of flavor? Maybe the line of bubble tea lovers that quickly filled up the tiny window at Coco gives away a hint? We'll go with that. Plus, Coco does dole out tasty bubble teas. I haven't danced into the exotic realm of any types or styles, but my vanilla milk tea last Sunday and the taro milk tea of Friday night were both superbly delicious. Price-wise it was pretty decent too. Overall, this lo-Coco-cation (sorry, had to) delivers quality bubble tea at a small corner in the middle of the hustle and bustle that is Flushing, Queens. Despite the occasional lines, you'll get your bubbles relatively quick and find out for yourself that Coco is the way to go-go (unless you've got some Kung Fu Tea, cause that place is "da bomb"). It's a sweet, salty, almost buttery compliment to the sweetened black tea. Then with the hot lid, I can suck out the pudding towards the end- like an extra treat. I tried the seasonal rum raisin hot drink. Mmm delicious. Hard to get all of the raisins but it was not an issue since I was still left with 1/3 of a cup of raisins. No lie. You order on Main St. and you pick up your order on Roosevelt Ave. It's pretty busy most of the time and there is usually a short wait, but the line moves fast. I've tried Coco in the past and nothing really stood out to me about their bubble tea. It wasn't until I tried some of their fruit drinks, that I became a fan. The mango green tea and the passion fruit green tea are really refreshing and tasty. Both of these drinks are super sweet at 100%. I usually adjust the sugar level to 30% to get the optimal amount. It reminds me of Asia, although I haven't been to East Asia so I'm somewhat projecting my imagination. In the sense that it's on a street corner, and it always has a line, and is open until late at night. It's an outdoor window, the Main St side to order and the Roosevelt Ave side to pick up the tea. It's tiny, it's busy, it's authentic, it's fast, and it's delicious. The milk tea at Coco is arguably the best at any chain. Sharetea's Okinawa Milk might be better, and Gong Cha gives it a run for its money, but in NYC I think Coco might be the winner. Give the hot and cold milk teas a try, they're both so different. If it's winter the hot tea will rock your world. Bear in mind they're a little sweet so you may want to adjust sugar levels. I don't, but I'm a freak with a big oh is that the time. This place is great! Perfect for grabbing a drink on the go either when getting on the train, or before. I got the bubble milk drink and it was delicious. The bubbles were cooked all the way and super soft to chew on. Also tried the mango slush with bubbles and that was just heavenly. The mango taste screams summertime. I'll definitely be returning to try out their other flavors. Only complaint is the store is a quick grab and go station, which is fine. But at times i almost wish they had an actual larger store to sit in and enjoy the drink. They have some great drink options, but the "shop" is really just a little stand in the corner of the block, so it can get pretty hot when you're waiting on line. Especially on hot and humid days when the line is especially long. The drinks taste really light and refreshing. I usually get the fruit teas, like mango, lemon or passionfruit, with half sugar and then add bubbles. Half sugar is pretty much all you need. It's sweet but not overly sweet. One thing that annoys me, however, is the fact that they don't stir their bubbles, so you often end up with clumps of bubbles that don't come up the straw. One time it was particularly bad and I couldn't drink a single sip without getting rid of the bubbles at the bottom. read more

It was not the employees fault that the place was understaffed and there were 7 customers waiting for their drinks in the cold for 15+ minutes. There were multiple online orders coming in for delivery and they could not handle those delivery orders and orders from the window. The owners need to hire more servers.
