We sat in a private nook in the corner which accommodated our 8 people (which the staff was fine with us adding 2 more to our 6 person reservation initially). The entire place is so well decorated and if you look around there's tons of fun details and decor. The menu is made up of a map and they provide everyone with their own personal flashlight to see it. When you order certain drinks, it triggers various special effects. At times, it felt like an adult rainforest cafe with changing sounds and lights. Our server went above and beyond to make our experience great, going all out with his special effects and overall sassiness. You get a two hour allotment and our server did a great job of updating us of how much time we had left. We will definitely be back!

They really did a nice job with this place land the theme on every square inch of the place! We had a group and got a nice private booth in the corner. Our server was the best he made it so much fun. The drinks are very on theme and they have them divided by how much alcohol is in each. Some are even made to share! Also we learned as we went that some of the drinks come with a special show! I'll keep the surprise going and not tell you which ones! They are quite expensive (over $20) and the ones I got tasted awful...but it was more about the experience! I think it is more of a novelty type place but really fun with a small group.

Started with the dozen chargrilled oysters which were flavorful and the best part of my meal. I also appreciated the French bread provided with the oysters. I had a pound of the peel and eat shrimp in the spicy garlic sauce served hot. It was a Saturday pricing special and definitely a good deal. The shrimp were not deveined so peeling them took a bit more effort, which is not a dealbreaker for me but something to know if you prefer deveined shrimp. The quality of the shrimp varied - some were large, some small, some were fresh, a few were mushy/overcooked. Served with drawn butter and cocktail sauce, which were great complements. I'd probably do no old bay or sauce at all next time, as I liked the sauce less as I continued eating. All in all, I'd return again for the oysters and try out other menu items!

We live close and visited here a bunch the first 2 years we moved to Ocala and have visited less and less since then. There have been several occasions we have stood at the bar waiting not only to be greeted but also waited very long times to receive our drinks. In their defense, many times the bartenders were busy attending to patrons or making drinks. However, there were several times some bartenders were just talking to friends or messing around. The drinks here are super detailed so they take some time and TLC. I will say, most times our drinks taste delicious and the presentations are magnificent! The decor is so cozy and the ambiance is consistent. Hubs and I absolutely love Tiki themed bars and fell in love with Hawaii after our visit years ago so this place is perfect for us. We also like this place because they are open later than most places in town. We recently visited for a nightcap and it was definitely different. I recently had referred someone here because she was looking for Hawaii themed food (they used to serve food) and she informed me they did not serve food. That sucks because we always meant to try it but never did. Looked good. When we recently visited, they did not have physical menus and were referred to QR code cards on the bar. Our bartender was attentive and helpful with choosing a drink during our recent visit. He actually went out of his way to make the orange peel twist in a perfect manner. I appreciated that! I was going to suggest to hubs we have another drink and then a roach crawled across the bar. I discreetly informed the bartender of the dead roach I killed when we closed out and he took it away. Usually this place is clean and tidy so I was surprised to witness the roach. They do have seating outside as well but we usually sit inside to listen to the themed music.

Many of the special effects depend on the cast members interacting with guests, so visiting earlier in the day is a good idea while everyone is still at peak energy. The drinks are expensive, but they're tasty, strong by Disney standards, and absolutely Instagram-worthy. You can also purchase some excellent tiki mugs. The food menu is limited, but what we tried was good. Be aware that you'll probably share a table with another party, but that can make the experience even more fun. I always have a great time here, and my friends do too. The last time I visited, I ended up sharing a table with a witch doctor. We started talking about magic, exchanged spells and trinkets, and I gave him my lucky goat's eye.
