My friend went to grab her a chair, but she left and went to the bar. 15 minutes later she came back with another woman. The woman asked why I wouldn't let the lady sit with us and asked me to go outside so she could beat my a$$. We explained the situation and the lady apologized and said the woman is a regular there and a drunk so she's not surprised she lied. This lady continued to tell people in the bar the lie to the point where we feared for our safety. They promote karaoke every night, but the DJ will not play your song unless you tip him $20. Those were his exact words to me. For safety purposes, I don't recommend going here.

He acknowledged that he should have come to the table & claimed there had been nothing wrong with the turkey beyond it had been sitting too long in brine.... Alligator country! So im here visiting with friends who live near this place. We walk in and literally the record player scratches to a halt and everyone in the bar (all of 4 of them) stop, turn and stare at us. This is where it gets fun! People obviously know we're not from around these parts and quickly walk up to us and start introducing themselves. And here are the names they used... Giggalo Jim, Gator Mike and a few more i cant remember. Im not making this up. It was hard to keep a straight face. So we have some cocktails and play some pool and eat some of the best boiled peanuts that i've ever eaten. A bit later Gator Mike walks up to us and says "Ever been on an air boat?" We all reply "no" and he proceed to say, i know a guy who has one down the road who would love to take you guys out on it. Now i know I've been told not to go with strangers ever since i was a kid, but dammit if i didn't want to go on an air boat! I'm 6'6" and about 260lbs, so if they can lift me and kidnap me, they can have me! I just hope they have a strong back! So we all look at each other and tell Gator Mike that we're game to go do this air boat ride in the middle of a swamp, infested with alligators and with a guy we've never met. Here we go.... Gator Mike drives in a car ahead of us and we follow him to the edge of a swamp where we see his friend. We get out, get introduced and off goes Mike. The air boat "captain" tells us to get on and buckle up, we do. he goes to the front of the air boat, open a compartment, pulls out a red cup, a bottle of Kessler Wiskey, some ice, fills the cup, fired up the boat and off we go. Im thinking to myself at this point that we're all dead and about about to be fed to the gators. We went for the $17.76 special that was a 4th of July special. It was $17.76 for a lobster, crab legs, shrimp and corn and potatoes. It was delicious, and a steal for that price. We went at lunch time, so had no issues with them being out of it. They recently offered a $22, 2 lobster special (no sides). I tried to get reservations for that one, but they were ran out of reservations quickly and I didn't want to have to wait in a long line to eat. They offer these great specials with some frequency. If you go around lunch time, they have a Lakeside Lites menu (I'm pretty sure it's only lunchtime and only mon-fri), but they have nicely portioned lunches at a great price. My husband loves the 4oz. burger and fries ($8.99) and I usually get either the fish or shrimp tacos with fries. Most of the items on that menu are under $10 and perfectly portioned for lunch. If you sit outside, the view is amazing of the lake. They have several overhead fans running, so even if it's hot, it's still worth sitting outside. My daughter had the lunch fish and chips and really enjoyed that also. If you're looking for a reasonably priced lunch with a fantastic view and great staff, then this is your spot. Normally we would send it back or say something, but we were there with friends celebrating a birthday so we felt stuck. Sorry....but it was awful. Ugh.
