I went to Coco Nails and paid $70 for basically nothing. All they did was change my nail polish. This is my second time experience they don't listen to you.No real service, no care, no attention. The entire experience felt disorganized and rushed. It honestly seems like they only try to push customers into the most expensive services, but in my experience, they don't know how to properly deliver those services or treat customers professionally. What worries me the most is hygiene. I personally started having an infection shortly after my appointment, which makes me very concerned about how tools and stations are cleaned. I truly believe this place should be looked into by the health department. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Customer service was terrible. This is my go to spot for me when I have time for a pedi! It's close by and I recommend calling first instead of walking in. I've noticed walk ins for the most part have to wait a while. Also there's like a monitor that if you put in your phone number everytime you go you end up with something free. We made an appt for 3 of us on a Wednesday at 4pm. We showed up and they are kinda busy. They immediately put me in a chair fill the pedicure water with lukewarm water and I'm waiting. My friend they put in a chair and she's waiting with lukewarm water as well. 20 minutes go by with our feet in lukewarm water and Tammy says, "Can you please talk quieter..." Now maybe because we're the only people of color in this establishment she felt we were being too loud or maybe we're not the ideal client. Either way But we've been sitting now for 25 minutes & we're trying to entertain ourselves since they have yet to start on our pedicures. 30 minutes have gone by now and the water for my feet is freezing and I ask for more water and she says it's too full we cant add more. Ive come here a lot, it's very close to my house, it's been quite clean whenever I've been in, & my nails are generally done well. The issue is with the mocking & making fun of customers. I've had it in small doses before, & witnessed it happen to others, but today I went in with my husband & the amount of embarrassment I felt at how the technician was laughing at me & being very dramatic at how "bad" my feet were, I will never come back. For clarification, it had been 4 weeks since my last pedicure as I had fallen & hurt my leg in that time. So I guess unless you're getting your nails done every week, be prepared to be shamed. This was my 6th time coming to Coco Nail & Spa. I came here because it was close by and figured they couldn't do any wrong. (And every time they ask me if it's my first time there hah) I went in for Biogel with tips (which I have done 2 times before here) and I think they probably were crunched for time, so they LIED and said they only do acrylic with tip. I responded and said "but you have done it before? " and then they proceeded to do my nails with biogel and tips. But man was she rushing because they was hurting my fingers and just splattering gel on and not checking the shape or lumps. This told me she probably had another customer coming. Sure enough someone came in and was waiting for the nail tech I was with. Basically got my nails done in 40 min and they look awful. I paid, left a nice tip and now calling another salon for tomorrow to fix these nails. Seems like they won't miss me and don't cater to possible new clientele anyway. read more
