I've had several gel manicures the past several years and have never been happy with any. The polish is always uneven and messy on my cuticles. That being said today was the day I finally love my nails. Loni did a fantastic job. The paint looks perfect. No frills inside, not a huge color selection, but good prices, and great final result. Had been a client for a short while. Hours vary, never posted hours of operation until June of 2023! Not open on Sundays. Random opening times. Calls for appointments unanswered and doesn't take walk ins, or does...depends on the day. Cheap service for the price, poor work a five year old could do better! Service providers unfriendly and cold. I bring my own polish in for touch ups on my own after service, (Saves them money...!) and they have distracted me and kept the bottles on several occasions wasting my time to go back to retrieve MY property! Not worth the time and effort with so many others who appreciate customers in the area. Makes sense that the place is always empty! read more

First time here this afternoon. The ambiance is dated and older. They have two comfy couches and tons of magazines for the people waiting. I brought in my daughter and niece for a basic kid's manicure. Made reservations two days ago for today at 3:30. Arrived at 3:35 and the place was empty with three technicians waiting. The girls got their manicures with small painted details (dots and flowers) for $13 each. The place charges the same price for adults or kids. I asked the tech about sterilizing practices as she had utensils out in tray ready to go. She said they sterilize in the back. I'm not sure of the sterilizing procedure or if the tools were truly sterile so I asked her to only trim nails but leave cuticles. Overall the girls said they were happy with their manis but they would prefer to go to a more updated and modern (fancier) place next time. read more

This is a fabulous nail salon. It's clean and peaceful. The technicians are kind and adept at what they do. I couldn't believe how long the nail polish stayed on my very short nails. They are also pretty fast without a sense of rush. Sometimes I pay for extra hand massage. Well worth it. Lots of polish from which to choose. No negatives! read more

As the original owner of The Nail Oasis, I must say I am disappointed in its current state. When it first opened, it felt luxurious and special, with deep gold paint, spotlights on the walls, deep forest green carpet, and gorgeous pearlized crown moldings (I put the 7 coats of pearl white paint on them myself). The rock fountain was front and center in the middle of the salon, with a spotlight on it, and the center of the rear wall was taken up with a huge 8' tall Nail Oasis logo sign, dramatically lit by a spotlight. There were dozens of 6' tall plants and trees lining the walls, along with earth-toned couches, and framed paintings from local artists hanging on the walls. We had a glass-door refrigerator up front filled with Snapple, Martinelli's, and bottled Frappucinos. It looked and felt like an "oasis". I stick my head in every few years to see how it is doing, and sadly, it seems to have finally devolved into just another boring nail place, indistinguishable from any of the others in the area, devoid of character and utterly unremarkable and forgettable. When I opened it, it was the nicest nail salon in town by a mile--the ambiance was gorgeous. Now, the walls are white and boring, the carpet has been replaced with ugly tile, the paintings and trees are gone, and the fountain has been banished to the back wall and was not even plugged in when I was there. The huge logo sign I made for the rear wall was nowhere to be found, as is all the character I put into this place. it was special when I built it. I believe it has been sold several times since then. Thankfully, the service is still good, although it is no longer a "premium nail salon". At least my original logo is still on the front door. Literally everything else is different. A shame. read more

My mom and I have come to this place for many years and their services were satisfactory at best. Yesterday my mother comes in very stressed from having a surgery this weekend and tried to relax a little. She came in and had to make a QUICK phone call to make sure nail polish was approved for her surgery, after the owner finished her toes. The owner starts SCREAMING at her for being on the phone and told her to get out of her salon and "I no wait for you on phone" "you leave!!". She screamed at her and forced her to go to the back and wash her hands - while still yelling at her to leave. My mom was in tears and asked for a paper towel just to wipe off her hands the owner screamed "you go over there! You get yourself!" My mom STILL PAID AND TIPPED HER and came home sobbing! She is a cancer survivor and had to go through all of these procedures to get this surgery and she didn't want to cause any issues. After all of the business we have given this business we are shocked at the disgusting attitude of the owner. We will never be back again! Unless you want to deal with rude staff, high prices, and stress out during a time that is supposed to be relaxing go somewhere else!!! read more

Terrible place to do my acrylic nails at. I decided to give this place a try due to the good reviews, but when I first entered the place I wasn't welcomed. The lady at the front told me to come back in two hours so she can do my nails; which I did because I live very close. I told her how I wanted my nails with the white powder a little higher so the nails look like they are longer, but she said no because they will look ugly. I always get the done this way I told her. She was very moody the whole time. I like my nails thin, and I asked her if she can do them thin, but she ignored my request. She attached the acrylic to my skin, and the job was just terrible. The price for this $40.00 + tip (yes, I tipped her anyways.) WILL NOT GO HERE EVER AGAIN! read more

Ok this place is freaking awesome. I have been going there for 11 years but in the past few years it has gotten a new owner and they are wonderful too! I have two people in particular I want to talk about: 1. Stephanie- If you are looking for someone who can do eyebrows, this woman can DO eyebrows. I am super picky and I am in the spa industry as well. So i know when someone knows there stuff and she knows her stuff! If you have ever had a bad experience or you are scared to make the switch Stephanie is the person you will want to switch to. She only charges $15 for eyebrows. 2. Kym- She is the owner and she seriously does the best gel manicures. I drive 30 minutes just to get my nails done by her. Her gel manicures last 3 weeks EVERYTIME. She takes so much care and time to do them too. None of that sloppy BS of where the gel is on your cuticle and you have to peel it off and then you end up ruining the manicure. She uses really good products too, Bond Aid, CND, and Gelish. She charges only $25 for a gel manicure. So worth the drive I love her. This place is clean and I feel very comfortable going there. Its in a strip mall thats a little runned down, and it isnt the fanciest place ever, but its very nice and does great work. Highly recommended! read more

Great pedicure chairs!!! Nail Oasis is your typical nail salon. I've only had pedicures done here, no other services. It's close to my house and convenient for me. Walk-ins are welcomed. It's a standard pedicure, nothing to rave about and nothing to complain about. However... the pedicure chairs are REALLY great! All kinds of massage options and they allow you to sit and enjoy while your pedicure dries. Whenever I walk out, I always feel like I had a massage with a pedicure bonus! She truly cares about each client. Despite the fact that she remodeled the place, ordered BRAND new spa chairs and other equipment, she somehow STILL managed to lower their prices. I have been going here for 10 years with my mom and sisters, and practically everyone else in our area. Stephanie has been doing our eyebrows FOREVER. It has been over 2 years since my sister and I have both moved out and moved on. We have yet to find a place in our new areas that provide us the service and care that Nail Oasis does. I often drive from Santa Monica just to see Stephanie and have my nails done by the other girls, and I get the added bonus of visiting my parents after (although they think it's the other way around). I have been to just about every nail salon (high end and low end) in the valley and this place is the best BY FAR. Prices are low, but the quality is amazing. The girls who work there are so nice and remember your name when you come back. And to top it all off, the salon is impeccably clean! What can I say about the Nail Oasis...? It's your typical West Valley strip mall nail joint. * Massage chairs with foot wash basins (mine never seems to work) * Usually three ladies on staff when you walk in (don't walk in or you'll wait 20 minutes...it's formulaic.. 20 minutes every time. Make a resie. * They do a pretty good job with gels...and regular polish. My toe polish has been on for three weeks. Yeah...gross but why screw with a good thing...and two of my toenails fell off due to tight cycling shoes because...sprinting. * Lots of People mags to read...because you would never buy one in public. * Terrible lighting Seriously though, they get the job done and they're nice ladies. I went out of my way to try this place based on a really good review. I got a mani/pedi. They were taking their sweet time so I thought I found a good place at first. The good: they are very nice people. The chairs are very comfortable. It wasn't jam packed. The bad: when they were done my nails still had cuticle that needed to be removed & were trimmed really unevenly. The polish didn't cover my entire nail! (Come on!)I had to trim my nails when I got home. I would have touched up the polish, but didn't have a color that was close enough to match. They didn't paint the "front" of the nail either - I hate that. It was just sloppy. Honestly, I do better myself. :( I'm a good tipper, but probably shouldn't have been this time. I wish I could give a good review, but it was just a job NOT well done :( read more

Just came home from the Nail Oasis and I'm so relaxed I'm having trouble writing this review... What a great experience. This is the 3rd place I've tried in 3 months. For various reasons, I've not been happy with the other shops I tried. I want to relax when I have my nails done. I love a spa pedicure and always remember my book. Employees yelling across the shop at each other in another language* is not relaxing - Nail Oasis doesn't do that. Sandy, the owner was wonderful on the phone and reassured me that I would have a relaxing experience and I wouldn't be given the "new girl". See my other reviews for the shops in my neighborhood if you're interested... I had a great pink and white fill from Kathy - the last 2 shops would take off all the pink and white and start again - this place just filled the pink because that's really all I needed - tho it's been several weeks since I went to the last place. My nails look great and they're nice and thin! After several years, I'm finally happy with my nails and, best of all, they don't hurt! Then I had a spa pedicure from Mary - I decided to throw in the 10 minute foot massage for an extra $12 bucks because I was so happy with the place. The massage was great! So since I was now really relaxed and liking the place, I decided to try them for a brow wax and saw Stephanie - she was really nice and did a fantastic job on my brows. A true professional!!! I'm now looking forward to going back for a facial and maybe a massage, too. I'm not sure if she does the massages, but I know she does the facials. Her room was clean and decorated and smelled good. All good in my book. Yes, this place does it all. They have real spa chairs for pedicures, they offer massages, facials, waxing, and more than I can't remember. It's clean and... it's clean! I was very happy not to look at plain white walls either - it's a soft, warm yellow gold, although they could hang some more art on the walls... (I paint - LOL) So, to wrap this up, no pun intended - I'm in heaven right now and can't wait for my next appointment. This is not something I usually do - I've come to dread having my nails done in the last several years and I'm giddy that I've found a place that's quiet and relaxing, and most of all, professional. So, my whole bill was $72, and the only price I really know was the added on $12 foot massage so... sorry to say I didn't pay too much attention to the prices but this sounds very reasonable for a pink and white fill, spa pedicure, lip and brow wax and a foot massage. I KNOW I'm happy. Hope you enjoy this place too. *Please don't misunderstand me. I don't mind another language at all - if they were yelling in English, it'd be just as annoying. But since it's a language I don't speak, It's merely noise. BTW - Please don't talk on your cell phone in a nail salon. I really don't want to hear what you have to say and you're talking WAY TOO LOUD. If I wanted to go to your "reading" of your end of your conversation, I'd buy a ticket and get dressed up. I had a wonderful first experience at this nail salon. I had a pedicure and it has lasted for four weeks. I am going back today to get it updated. The foot massage was the best I have had ever! Nail Oasis's pedicures consistently only last 1 1/2 weeks and polish starts chipping. The other place I went to lasted three weeks. I have given them several opportunities.
