We spent the whole appointment chatting and laughing, which made the time fly by. She was wearing a Hello Kitty Friends shirt (I wish I knew all their names!), and her fun personality made the experience even better.She did such a great job on my nails. I decided to step outside my comfort zone and go with white, which is something I never wear. I'm definitely a creature of habit when it comes to nail colors, but every once in a while it's good to break out of the routine. It was a Sunday and thought it best to call and make an appointment for a pedi, the lady said come in, a few minutes later I walk in, she says pedi? I said yes that was me (her and another lady were giving manis) a few seconds later a man walks in wanting a pedi too. A third lady tells both of us to sit down, she fills the bowls for our feet to soak. The third lady sits down and starts clipping the man's nails?! Still waiting after 5 mins (no one saying anything to me) I'm getting bothered and just say "I think I'm done," take my wet feet out of the bowl, start walking out, no sorry, nothing. Due to the current world climate, they are booking appointments only, which is perfect and I felt very comfortable knowing they are not just accepting a bunch of walk-ins. Only two staff working which is also nice and feels very intimate. I got a gel manicure and a deluxe pedicure. I have limited ability and thus am unable to take care of my own feet. I have thick crusty toenails and recurring corns that, if not removed, hurt like stepping on pebbles. When I lived in Chatsworth, I tried several nail salons. Only Hawaii Nails was able to pare down the corns so I could walk without pain, and also make my feet look acceptable enough to wear sandals. I moved out of the area and searched for a year in Thousand Oaks for a competent, reasonably priced pedicure. I could not find one. Once a month, I drive into the San Fernando Valley and get a pedicure at Hawaii Nails. They do a thorough, painless job. I can walk without pain. My wife loves the way my feet look. I am letting you know that we are very upset and unhappy. Its a second time this happen but my 1st time letting you know. My husband did not enjoy his pedicure. 1st she is rough not enjoyable. Second she made his big toe bleed, then to spray achol on the feet ! That HURTS AND BURNS she did not once but twice ! My husband feet are swollen !! Then she shaved to much it hurts to walk and when you wrk on your feet all day its not a good feeling. The person that did mine was not gentle. I did not trust her at all. So disappointed brand new set and all misshaped, crooked, and some thick some way to thin. Some long and some short. My daughter had perfect shaped nails and they destroyed them. Her polish was horrible. We have to leave and head to another shop to redo our nails. This really sucks and ruins our plans. My nails make my fingers look deformed. To make matters worse they took forever to do them. My person was an older guy and gets was an older lady. If I could give 0. I would have. For Christmas I got a gift for a manicure and pedicure from this place. I decided to go get it done on February 24th 10am since February 25th I was flying to Hawaii. Had an amazing experience initially. However, on the 24th my left toe's nail started hurting. The next morning my left toe was big and puffy and was I entering the flight knowing the next 5 days I hoping to swim, hike, or just have an amazing time which was going to be ruined. On the 26th I had to go to the emergency room in Hawaii since the puff got worse and it was hurting to even walk. The Dr said that it is a Staph infection they used unsanitized equipment. Now I am on antibiotics, unable to even walk. The Dr even recommended to even drain the fluid out. Don't ever go to this place! read more

WARNING: This establishment​ is a true nightmare. My daughter​ just took her best friend, who is disabled and is in a ​wheelchair​, to get her nails done. The place was practically empty​ and they refused them service​. They were nasty and dismissive. My daughter's​ best friend is devastated​. We have contacted the ADA who handles cases having to do with breaching The Americans with Disability Act. This was an ugly and very painful experience​. When I talked to the owner, she said, "we can refuse service​ to anyone and hung up on me". We will follow up on this incident. We will not give up so this will never happen to another human being​.
