I've been going to this salon for about a year now Jenny is my #1 girl I sit in her chair about once a month and she never disappoints. My nails have stayed healthy and have never been damaged. None of my acrylics have ever chipped or broken off (and I like them long as you can see ) all Of the crystals have always stated on. I could be having my nails on for a month grown out and cuticles crying for help but the actual acrylic never ruins and this coming from a girl who works 40hrs a week with constant washing hands and banging them left and right. Really shows how good of quality the products they use here. I will go here as long I live in texas. If I am paying for a service, I expect minimum customer service. I have been going to this salon since it opened since it's less than a 10 min drive from my home. If the service was continually good, then a review would've been posted on my behalf but since that was never the case, I am here to express the bad experience I have been having at this establishment. Time after time I made requests/ changes to BASIC designs because after all, I am a paying customer and the employees running this place make it unbearable to express any concerns of adjustments. I kept going back due of the short distance from my home and remained hopeful that after years of business the customer service would get better. That's the LEAST a paying customer would expect. I decided to treat my teen daughter to a manicure after YEARS of persuading her to get a manicure with me, she agreed yesterday. The day was turned upside down when I walked in I noticed there were several employees sitting down on their phones, which I understand since there was no business. Then I was awkwardly greeted by a man who recognized me and immediately said "we don't want to do your nails because you're too picky" I was appalled and taken aback as he was weirdly laughing while saying this to me. My daughter even asked me if he was being serious. When I asked him if he was being serious, other employees spoke to him in their native language obviously talking about me. He dismissed my question and demanded I choose a color. My husband then approach me and suggested we go elsewhere as they would do a bad job. I was humiliated in front of not only my family, one other paying customer, and other employees. This is completely unacceptable. I took my business to a nearby spa called Ruby Nail Spa, right off 75 and McDermott. I was immediately greeted and sat with complimentary drinks for not only me but also my family who were also getting services. I suggest that anyone having a bad experience at this establishment thinks twice. I also suggest going to Ruby Nail Salon right around the corner where you will be treated like a paying customer. The responses to negative reviews are beyond unprofessional. This is simply not how business should be ran. In this economy we better be wise about where we are as spending our hard earned money. I do not recommend and it goes without saying that I will not be coming back. read more

I've been a loyal customer for over a year. I would sit in hours of traffic driving to a nail salon many zip codes away to get my nails done from Tammy. Tammy was the best and today would've been very different if she weren't visiting Vietnam. Cynthia did my mom's manicure for my wedding week nails. We walked in very excited and in a good mood and left the opposite. She was extremely rude to my mother about something as simple as nail sizing and when I inquired if someone else should just do her nails she replied "no one wants to". Customer service when booking a appointment is very frustrating since the person who answers is very rude and rushes you off the phone with "Waddu want". I went on a Monday since I expected him to not be booked and provide perfection nails. I was WRONG! Ask me if this look like his work in the pictures? No it does not, I also told him it's sloppy and he ignored me. I said "did you hear what I said" he says "mhm". Learn how to handle criticism when it comes to your work Louis , maybe you know those pictures are fake or you did a half job on my set. This place has the worst customer service, everyone seems to be miserable working there & they get upset whenever you ask any questions or want a change in your nails. They make you feel very uncomfortable for asking for such a simple thing. They do good nail designs but I don't think it's worth the terrible service. I have been coming here since they opened, pedicures and gel nails in the beginning, then wanted something that lasted longer. I started getting nail dips, and have been happy for almost two years. Several months ago I went in and got a female tech I didn't recall having in the past. By the time I left, 6 of my 10 fingers had been nicked pretty badly. Later that same day, I went in and showed my cuticles to the manager and asked not to get that tech again. Four weeks ago I went in for a pedicure and a fresh dip, the same woman that had nicked my cuticles before was doing my nails again. Several days later I'm at a minute clinic, diagnosed with a bacterial infection over my left hand, and a couple fingers on my right. This picture is 8 days on oral and topical antibiotics. read more

Louise is awful. I was recommended to him for skillful designs but warned how rude he was by a friend. I liked his work but the atmosphere was horrible, he keeps his nails so long that when he's using the dremel his talons hurt so bad. I like darker designs (gothic) and he told me to my face how ugly they were and that he hated doing my nails with my requests.... At that point I was annoyed. But was happily surprised when he was fired from his own brother/uncle/family member nail salon. Everyone talked about it, but then 2 weeks later he was brought back. He will kick you out of the nail salon if you ask why something doesn't match or add up and he will also take it upon himself to design your nails the way he wants without asking. I pay over $90 $100 just for my nails when I go there and despite him being nasty and mean I sat through the uncomfortable silence and aggressive hand grabbing and pushing away several times. I just moved to Plano 6 months ago and I was trying to find a good nail shop. I'm very bougie with my nails and get lots of rhinestones and designs. I've gotten my nails done for many years and I'm known for having fancy nails. I've never complained about price and I used, my last nail lady for over nine years. Every time I'm asked who does my nails here in Plano, I'll let the girls know and they know immediately who Louis is. It's the same thing every time. I've heard nothing but horrible things about his behavior, his demeanor, and how Rude he is. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he did the right hand perfectly. And when he started to work on the left hand he began to change the design. When I asked him why he said "if you don't like it you can leave and I'll takeoff your nails". I said well I'm only asking because they don't match and and he repeated himself. I asked for the owner which they said he lived in Vietnam. I asked for the manager he came up to me and when I told him what happened he said well that's between you and Louis. I walked out of the shop and I'm never going back. I will be contacting state board to get the owners information. Whether they are in Vietnam or not I'm going to speak to the owner. I have several Vietnamese friends and they are already willing to translate for me. We own a barbershop and we would never treat our clients like this! read more

My long time nail place (Garland) has moved, so I thought I would try to find one locally and decided to try Coco Nail since I live in Lucas. I went by just to look at the place about a month ago and was told they did to acrylic and watch the person (Peter) who was recommended to me. The client he was working on did state he was good and they had been going to him for some time. My issue was I was looking for a "relationship" with my Nail Service Staff person, not looking for a place to just "pop in and out" whenever it suits me!! I set up an appointment for 3:30pm on a Monday afternoon and the person on the phone never asked my name or phone (that should have been a clue) and just told me, "don't be late". Anyway, got there at 3:15pm and wasn't greeted right away, I asked do I need to sign in, they told me no, "can we help you?" I said, yes, I have an appointment at 3:30pm with Peter. He told me sit down and he will be with you. I waited until 3:40pm and Peter got up (he was with a client) and had to go to the front and saw me, didn't say anything, except I am running behind and it will be another 30 minutes. Sorry, my time is just as valuable as yours and so, I texted someone else and decided to leave! I guess these corner "nail places" are only interested in people who pop in and out. I am looking to build a professional relationship with a nail tech. My last I was with for 25 years. Went in on Saturday, Mother's Day weekend without an appointment. I didn't wait long, maybe 20 mins. The manicurist I was assigned to took three hours for a mani and pedi. She painted and dried one nail at a time. I think my right hand got 4-5 coats of gel. The paint felt sticky even after curating. Four days later, my gel manicure is peeing off. I chose this salon because of the other reviews. Also, it was packed so I'm assuming overall it's a great place for most experiences. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of them. read more
