You know, this place was a little pricey but good when they started out. Unfortunately, over time they became too busy and really shotty. I'd give them a pass when my nails were less than perfect because hey, I'm gonna screw them up at home eventually so the one off was no biggie. But then it got to the point where I'm all Jesus Christ, I've come here how many times and I've always tipped very well and for real guys, we Weston women do not all look the same and you always act like you've never seen me. I started getting pretty irked when I'd call ahead to make an appointment but had to wait up to 30 minutes, yet it was a real boot up the butt when the mani/pedi would be super rushed. It's a lot of money to be pushed through the conveyor belt like that. They have these signs up about getting an eyebrow wax with the pedicures I'd choose, but do you think even ONCE that happened? I got really annoyed the one time I had French gels and one chipped 2 days in. It's a real pain to go for a fix, but I did this time because my nails were so new. When the gal started to do the fix, she pulled out a really pink color and I'm all whoa whoa whoa wrong color - and I was 100% sure because I can't stand the generic pink they use. Reminds me of dying flesh. So Steve came over and told me that it gets lighter in the sun and I'm like I don't think so, this is the wrong color. He wasn't budging and fade in/fade out he was wrong. For the next 2 weeks I had 9 nails that looked nice and 1 that looked like I stuck my finger in a jar of jam. My final visit was a disaster. I chose a navy blue dip and all I can say is that when they were 'done,' my hands had blue powder over every single finger and it looked like a blind kindergartener did my nails. We're talking Smurf territory. "Oh, it'll wash off" they said. Guess what - no it does not. A week later I still had blue fingers. And for even more entertainment, my nails were so thick and goopy looking it was beyond embarrassing to show my hands in public. Shame on me for paying for that mess. These guys really lost the plot. Go across the street to Wilton Nails. You'll get a great mani/pedi (on time), a good massage (included in the price) and it's less expensive. read more

I have had many bad experiences here. Every time I come, it is a different price than the last time. I am an 18 year old girl and the other day I asked how much for tips and powder and they said $65, when a women about 40 years old came in and asked how much, they said $45. Not only did they do a horrible job, but they also did no cuticle care or anything. My nails look horrible and are already falling off after a week. Do not go here they take advantage of younger people by charging them crazy high amounts. read more

I took the girls (11 and 7) for a summer break thing for pedicures. First it is very expensive, and then the pedicure for 7 year old was done in 5 minutes. For 11 year old they skipped the hot stone massage. Also the manager there was very aggressive in service. Overall, each one of us got less than 10 minutes of pedicure with exorbitant price. They charged all three the full price (even the 7 year old). Will not recommend this place to anyone. There are better places in the vicinity, where we went first and only came to Coco nails because there was long wait at other place. read more

This is THE BEST nail salon in the Wilton/Norwalk area! I've been many times and have tried a few salons nearby, and nowhere beats Coco Nails. I live for their green tea pedicure and love the combo they offer to get that with either an eyebrow wax or manicure for $50. The owner/manager is so kind and friendly, and makes every single person feel welcome. The salon is clean and has a calm, happy atmosphere. It's always pretty busy, so I usually make an appointment or at least call ahead. The pricing is pretty comparable to other salons in the area, and I personally choose Coco over other places because I've never had a bad experience there and know I'm going to get quality service. Came in last week on a Friday afternoon. I called 15 minutes prior asking if I could walk in for a regular pedi and they said yes. The guy working at the front was really kind and kept checking in on me which I appreciated. 5 mins after I sat down the lady came and started working on my toes. I understand it's a Friday afternoon it's packed. But she barely cut my cuticles, and just rushed the overall pedicure. She was aggressively moving my feet to the point the worker next to her kept looking at her because she probably knew it wasn't right. The girls getting a pedicure to my sides really seemed to happy with their pedicures but I was not happy with mine at all. At the end of the day, I am a customer and am paying for a service. This was my first time coming here, and I really wish I had a positive experience. read more

I went with my mom to do my nails. We had a reservation, but it was our first time coming here, so we didn't pick a specific person. The owner did my nails. It was one of the worst manicures I've ever had. The final result looked great, but I've never had such a frustrating and aggressive manicure. He would slam my hand down every single time someone needed to pay, the phone rang, or someone came in. Then he would aggressive pick up my hand and two seconds later slammed my hand down again. I would give them the benefit of the doubt, except the girl doing my mom's pedicure nicked her pretty significantly. The cut got infected. I left with my daughter after 2.5 hours!! they ensured me we'd be done together yet there I was waiting for her. Nails are awful! didn't give me what I wanted, I told him nails are too long he left them saying it's better that way, no consideration to same shape, no cuticles cut. the guy doing my nails told me to wait 2 minutes, never came back! I had to ask another guy if I'm done. this place is a joke! maybe if you're a regular you've a shot otherwise do yourself a favor and go somewhere else... this is a shitty waste of time! also if you get the you guy - run! I've had him twice now (only came here twice!) and he sucks! Excellent clean place. The only thing that worries me is the nail cutter that was used. I didn't see it taken out of the oven in front of me, as is usually done. But $13 for an Essie gel manicure is one of the best deals you could ever get. My manicurist Jenny is the best, she took really good care of me. read more

Long, long waits and the manager/desk person has the roughest, poorest of manners and shouts at people. I tried this place once before and had a 35 minute wait. Today, I had an appointment for a facial at 5. (I wanted an earlier time but 5 was the only availability, so I scheduled my day around this.) When I arrived at 5, the facialist was working on gel nails. I was told she would be 5 minutes, which from my observation was an impossibility. After 10 minutes, the manager told me to go into the room and put on a gown. I took one look at the updated status of the facialist's job and saw she was no where close to finish. I told the manager, "I don't want to wait in a room but I'll wait out here if it's going to be 20 after 5 before she's ready. " He started shouting, raising his voice, "If you want to go, go." I tried again telling him I would wait but not in the room. Then he told me I can just go. I shrugged, thought about the business he just lost, and left. Bottom line: Nothing is worth tolerating rudeness. No manicure, pedicure, facial is worth a 20 minute wait. And, btw, just one look at the magazine rack and it seems like the magazines were sitting on a bathroom floor. Gave it two stars read more

I've been here twice now, once for a quick buff and shine manicure and once for a regular pedicure. I splurge once in awhile on a gel or dip manicure, fancy spa pedi, etc. but haven't had an occasion for that since I moved to the area. It's always really nice to find a place that still offers an affordable basic service, along with the high-end stuff, and still does an excellent job with the basics even though they don't profit as much. That's good business that makes me loyal, keeps me wanting to come back when I do have the chance to spend bigger. The spa has a nice atmosphere, although it does get a little loud when it's busy. Everyone is friendly and the service is quick, but not uncomfortably rushed. Massage chairs are great and they give a really excellent shoulder rub while waiting for your nails to dry, which is a great perk. Huge color selection and choices for different types of lotions and oils etc. for foot and leg massage with your pedicure. I can't speak to the durability of their polish jobs yet, but there always seem to be lots of regular loyal customers when I've stopped by. I will definitely keep coming back! read more

I have been going to Coco Nails religiously for the past 3 months for gel manicures. The girls are fantastic, so polite, and very articulate with their work. My nails always look fantastic and I feel relaxed when I leave. They also have a business card that they sign and date every time you go - if you rack up enough dates they give you a free manicure. They also ensure that if your gel nails chip or something happens within a week of getting them done, they will fix them for free, which is so reassuring. I would have given a five star review, except for my last visit there - 2 weeks ago. I went in for a regular manicure and all of the girls were busy, so the manager, Stephen, took me. He was very distracted the entire time, getting up multiple times during my manicure, having some of the other manicurists take over for 30 seconds then coming back, he was not at all gentle - leaving my cuticles sore, and I noticed that the nail polish was uneven once I got home. I understand that they were very busy at the time I walked in, but I would have gladly waited for another manicurist to be free just to have had a better experience. I wanted to love this place. Good reviews, nice people, convenient location. Unfortunately, appointment times mean nothing (I waited 3 times with customers who did not have appointments for 20-30 minutes each time) and the nail techs are inconsistent. Today was my last visit. My light pink polish is bubbled and all over my fingers and toes. When I mentioned the pedicure to the tech, she said another coat would fix it. It didn't. They were so busy, everyone was running around like crazy. Maybe the gel or powder customers are more satisfied, but if you're looking for a basic or spa manicure, I recommend you head elsewhere. read more

My new favorite place to get my nails done!! The staff here are incredibly sweet and really take the time to make sure your nails are perfect. The manager explained that they guarantee your nails for a week so you can come in whenever to have a chip fixed etc. for free which not many other salons do. The space itself is very relaxing and clean. They use disposable files and buffing tools and everything is kept very hygienic. I can't wait to go back! read more

Wonderful services, wonderfully friendly staff. I may be giving up a well-kept secret, but Coco Nails is too great not to share. This immaculate salon is large, but not too busy. I've never had to wait. Excellent mani/pedis and expert UV and color gels. (They also offer waxing and other services, but I haven't used them enough to compare.) Chair massages are amazing! I wanted a powder dip French manicure which I said at least ten times. The woman doing it asked if I wanted a pink base and I said yes. She dipped my nail and did not add the white top. When she said she was finished I said it's supposed to be a French manicur. She said well it cost (whatever it cost) I said ok I said I wanted a French manicure when I sat down. She added the white tip with gel. It chipped that night. I went back and someone else repaired it. It is 3 days later and all the white is chipping away. So I paid a lot of money for a one day manicure. Very disappointing read more

This is a nice and clean nail spa in a convenient location with parking. Unfortunately, I cannot justify the price I paid for a gel manicure. $35 plus tip and tax did not even include soaking of my nails. The technician kept saying my cuticles were "dry" and then kept rubbing alcohol over them. Sloppy paint job and 10 second hand massage. Excellent excellent excellent! Went here because I heard about it on a moms Facebook site. Made an appt and took my daughter and me to get a gel manicure. The ladies are so super nice and friendly. The girl who did my nails was so meticulous and she did an absolute amazing job! The best part is the shoulder, neck and back massage. It was incredible. I will definitely be making this salon my bi-monthly place to get my gel manicure done. The owner(I think it was her) had said if anything happens to our nails during the next 2 weeks then come back in and they'll fix it What a relief to find a new nail spot as a newcomer to the area, without having to go through it paces not nearly as good! I have been going to Coco for a few years. In the last few months, service has not been good, my manicures last 3 days maximum! All the manicurists are always rushed, even when you make an appointment. When they are very crowded, Steven will often do your manicure so they can get you in and out. He is always distracted and constantly getting up and answering phones. At my last maniucure, he was so distracted he cut me with the nail file, apologized, and then his wife took over. Now I drive from Queens to Wilton to get my nails done by Anna - it is completely worth the drive. They do the most amazing nails acrylic or just regular manicure. I have had it all done here. The owners and employees are so lovely here. They chased me down the street when I left my phone at the drying table. The mani/ pedi lasts way longer than other places I've tried. There is no constant upwelling save the original ask of what kind of mani/ pedi do you want.
