Coco shrimp is one of my fav places!!! I love the sweet and spicy shrimps in rice combo or tacos. Their garlic butter rice is sooo delicious and the poppy seed salad is wonderful! I come here about 1x month. The staff are always friendly. The place always clean and they have sinks outside of the bathroom if you just want to wash your hands. Happy to see some island flavors make it's way into town. The flavors here are on point and the service was great. Employees were attentive and helpful in providing recommendations. Decor is fun and has a bit of that island flair with surfing and snorkeling gear. Anyhow, food here is where all the joy is obviously. The salad that's included in each entree was fresh, crisp, and light. Dressing options of ginger or poppyseed were offered. Both were delicious and offered plenty of flare without it drowning out the salad. Very clean flavors. Shrimp in each order were perfectly cooked to the point where they were soft and had a bit of bounce to it. There's a generous portion of rice to each entree that they throw some of their butter sauce onto and its absolutely dericious when it hits your tongue. This place serves broke da mouth grindz. Coco Shrimp - This has shredded coconut on it and deep fried. It comes with a delicious sweet chili sauce, mostly sweet though. All in all delicious deep fried goodness. Sweet & Spicy Shrimp - This was more sweet than spicy in my opinion. A bit creamy and no so vinegary in flavors, but equally delicious to everything else I've tried here and worth a try. I imagine the sweetness is mostly the strong teriyaki flavors taking the limelight from the spice. Butter Garlic Shrimp - This feels like a very simple option that's completely done right. If you like the butter garlic sauce that they throw onto the rice, this is definitely going to be a hit when consumed with the shrimp. There plenty of buttery goodness with a bit of salt to really accentuate the flavors. Lemon Herb Shrimp - The bit of acid in this flavor goes a long way in bringing out more joy to the meal. Simplicity done right much like the butter garlic shrimp. Spicy Shrimp - Good solid flavor in this option and nothing too overbearing like you would get in Maui. All in all, this place was fantastic. Entree portions are big enough to satiate two adult appetites or one very hungry one. Though not identified on their menu upfront, there's a Keiki Meal for kids that is roughly a half portion as well. I did enjoy the flavors here as much, maybe even a bit more than some of the food trucks in Oahu. read more

We love it when a delicious and healthy restaurant opens in Keller! Coco shrimp is the bomb. I get their kids gluten-free butter garlic shrimp with poppyseed dressing for the salad. It is amazing and I don't feel guilty eating it. The shrimp is perfectly cooked and well dressed. The rice melts in your mouth with the garlic butter sauce over it. Okay, so it's not the raw cauliflower type of healthy, but it's not fried chicken either; so it's healthier. :) I've heard the coconut shrimp is fire. This is a great casual lunch place with friendly staff. We have eaten here a few times now and it continues to be wonderful quality food for the price. Try their tacos, they are great! Side note: when you order a food delivery from them, they fold and staple the bag closed. We went to Coco Shrimp in Keller for Friday's lunch. We were very pleased. Tasty. Very clean. Fast. Enthusiastic staff. My wife had the coconut shrimp, whereas I went for the sampler. She enjoyed her meal, and I didn't have a loser in the bunch. Hot. Tasty. Crisp, but not overcooked. The rice was very well cooked. I wish the pieces of lettuce were a bit smaller. But that's not a big deal. The only thing we didn't like was the container in which the meal was served. A flatter container or a plate would be better. Look... everyone in the DFW area basically knows that CoCo Shrimp is the BOMB baby! And what's really to love that they are expanding rapidly. Which is a great thing for us all Love this Keller location. Has such charm and super cool surfer vibes. Which I love because grew up on the water surfing ‍ up stairs they had some super cool surfing videos. Had legends on the screen from Kai Lenny, Joel Tuder was such a treat to see them on the screen. To start off, came in at 8:39 and despite the fact that the restaurant was closing in 20 minutes, I was welcomed by Abigail the manager. Quickly realizing they were closing soon I said I could come back another time. Abigail said absolutely not, that she makes sure that everyone that comes in is not only fed but fed well. The restaurant was extremely clean and the food was came out quick and fresh. I got the sampler with spicy, lemon butter, and garlic shrimp with ginger dressing that is unbelievably good and an extra side of spicy sauce. My husband got the shrimp tacos with a side of the galic butter sauce.
