It's a smaller place so you can hear the surrounding conversation. It's clean and service is prompt. The food does take a bit to come out but it comes out hot and fresh. We were served a spring roll and soup to start. Its was a basic brother soup with a few vegetables. A nice light start to our meal. I had asked for wonton soup but was told they were out. However we ordered the wonton appetizer and there was broth based soup. So not sure what happened there or if she just didn't understand I wanted soup as my meal. The pot stickers were good. The pork skewers were very good and very tender. My husband had the orange chicken. The orange chicken was very fresh tender and juicy. The breading was light and crisp. The sauce was very good. Have eaten here at the restaurant and it was good, ordered tonight for delivery... just awful. Chicken Pad Thai was extremely dry, noodles were stiff and dry. Minimal sauce sitting in bottom of tray, also 2 to 3 small pieces of chicken. Basil Fried Rice was also very dry and minimal ingredients included, really just a bowl of slightly flavored rice. Hello delicious Thai food! Came here for lunch after a round of golf and it hit the spot! Friendly and attentive staff. Didn't wait long for drinks or food. Got the chicken satay to start off. Chicken was juicy and dipping sauce was on point! Pad Thai elevated and completed the experience here. Not overly sweet, noodles still had bit, fresh ingredients, and no complaints. Been twice with my elderly mother and she really loves the food here - even if she orders lo mein instead of an actual Thai dish. I've had pad kra pow both times, which I can't seem to find in Plano. 1/1/24: Happy New Year! Started off the first day of 2024 with delicious Thai food! We've been meaning to try Golden Thai Cuisine for over a year (it's been on my Yelp bookmarks for that long)! Well, better late than never! It's been the BEST thai/asian restaurant we've found in Texas thus far! Met the sweet owner, Chao (sp? Pronounced Chow). He's 73, Thai, and he said that his main chef is also Thai (and is there everyday except Wednesdays). His daughter is the other chef. He used to be one of the chefs, but he's retired. He's owned his restaurant for 15 years. Side note: one of the things I love about Texas is that almost every small business we go to, we end up meeting & chatting with the owner. I told him that I've been desperately seeking "authentic thai style" drunken noodles, which is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find outside of Thailand. He told us the secret to making it! No lunch special today since it was a holiday, but we'll be doing the lunch specials ($2 off) from now on!! We did an initial test run of 3 dishes (tip: tofu can be ordered soft or fried): Thai Fresh Ginger w/ fried tofu (spicy 2) $14.95: Loved the medley of veggies. Great eats for cold & flu season. The ginger will boost your immune! Drunken noodles w/ chicken (spicy 2) $14.95: I'll always order it as "authentic Thai style, more burn". Delicious. Will be ordering this (probably doubles) every time!! Yellow curry w/ chicken (spicy 3) $13.95 Loved that it wasn't watery curry. Great flavor. Oh, their Thai spicy levels are Thai, not Americanized, versions. So think at least double the spice! Next time we'll do everything spicy level 1 with the yellow curry at level 2. Everything was delicious & flavorful combined together and reminded us of Thai food we could get Nothing was dry, oily or too salty. Halle-freakin-lujah! FINALLY! Sunday lunch adventure. Ready for Thai-food after a week of other flavors. Medium size restaurant with seating for about 60. We elected for no appetizers today. My sponsor ordered King Fried Rice shrimp. I ordered the small Tom Kha Soup with a side of rice. It's been a hot minute since I have been here and I must say I really enjoyed my dinner. I had a delicious pork dish with noodles and bean sprouts. When asked what level of heat I would like I asked for medium, although I really like spicy, well it was spicy!! The pork was cut sure thin and yes I would have liked a bit more but for the price it was a fair amount. I love that it is BYOB! The inside is nicely decorated and nice for a date night. Stopped in for the pineapple curry at Golden Thai in Keller and it was really flavorful, highly recommended. I chose "medium" level spiciness (you can choose mild, medium, hot or Thai hot). That was perfect for me as I found it quite spicy, in a good way. I also chose shrimp for the protein and was happy with the number of shrimp included. The atmosphere was clean and quiet, it was a nice dinner with the Mrs. And don't forget that it's BYOB so take along your favorite bottle to complement your meal. I'll be back. read more

Okay....Oh my goodness! I've been on a Thai kick for a few weeks. Trying all the new places around me since my favorite is 10 miles away. This place took...STOLE...the cake. We got Panang Curry, Masumam Curry, green curry low mein, and Khoa Soi. ALL were expectional!!!! Not sure what the green side to the Khoa Soi was but without it was AMAZING! My reviews never go this way but I can't even say that I'm finally pleased with exceptional Thai food. They also hooked up the servings. I'm dying and in love. Medium spice and I'm not dying but I'm happily using tissue. :) One thing I have to say is GIVE ME MORE RICE! We happened to have extra dice I've been on this kick but all is well. read more

I've been a somewhat regular of a customer at this restaurant for about four months now. I've spent a lot of money here. I'm sorry, but it is pretty fucking sad and pathetic that they would charge people for not even HALF an ounce of Sriracha or chili oil. What the fuck is wrong with these restaurants these days??? Disappointed that all of the vegetables were from frozen. I ordered a chicken and veggie red curry. It was obvious that the vegetables were from frozen. Also ordered a shrimp spring roll and it was very tasty and fresh. The peanut sauce that went with it was also good. read more

I was a bit concerned why this place had only one table seated on a Wednesday at lunch. I ordered the Pad See Ew entree from a very nice server. Excellent service. I got a delicate vegetable soup with a perfect egg roll. My Pad See Ew was one of the best I have ever had anywhere. Tender chicken, perfectly prepared vegetables and flavorful. They offer 4 spice levels, mild, medium, hot, and Thai hot. Glad I stayed with just hot. I also ordered on to go for my wife and she loved hers too. The restaurant is is a plaza next to Big lot. The waitress was very nice and gave me her recommendations of things to order. For starters I ordered the papaya salad. It didn't have much flavor to it and it wasn't spicy. I had to request for chili sauce or something to give it a kick. The crying tiger dish was very bland and I ordered it medium and it was tough and chewy. There's was no flavor or seasoning on it. Hidden gem!! The food was wonderful, i really like that they give you the option to pick a spice level for any entree you get. The service was very quick, and the staff was incredibly kind and lovely. We sat down inside, it was not very busy at 8:00 on a Sunday. Simple clean modern place with classical piano music softly in the background. I ordered a bowl of Tom Kha coconut soup and a stir fry veggies with pork. I ordered both hot and spicy. They delivered! The soup was excellent and spicy, fresh and savory. The stir fry was really spicy, just like I wanted. The veggies were crispy fresh and not over cooked.
