Came in on a Thursday to enjoy a little reprieve from having to cook during the week and the restaurant was not very busy. We were seated promptly and met by our server named Dream. Ordered a large Tom Kha soup to share as a family. The portion was generous, and the flavor was great. We had chicken as our protein choice. Then as the second dish we got the duck curry with extra of protein (extra duck) and extra veggies. For a few dollars more we were able to upgrade a very delicious dish and make it substantive enough for myself, my wife, and my young son to all share together. They tuned down the spice and made it bearable for all of us and it was fantastic. Service was ok, a little slow as the servers seemed overwhelmed with only two of them covering the whole restaurant. There was a large party that walked in right before us that had 16 people. Perhaps that tainted our experience. I've been here multiple times before when I've picked up food to go, and the food quality has always been consistent , and the timing of the actual order has always been pretty fast. This used to be one of my favorite, go to, lunch spots. It has really gone down hill. The service used to be great, now you can't communicate with the wait staff, which leads to your order not being correct. The food used to be fresh and flavorful, now it feels like reheated frozen food. My Tom Yum Noodle soup that I ordered today came out with the noodles still in a square like the package you would get from the grocery store with very very few vegetables. That used to be one of my favorite lunches at least once a week and was packed with nice cuts of chicken and plenty of vegetables. I will not unfortunately be going back to Thailicious ever again. Been driving by this place for years and finally popped in with my cousin during work lunch. The server was friendly and attentive and made great recommendations. We loved their old location in Town Square and delighted to see that their new location continues to thrive in the community. We love their lunch specials - For the price, it cannot be beat and their lunch menu is sure to have a dish every pallet enjoys. We've tried most of their dishes on the lunch menu but my favorite is the Mixed Veggie Stir-Fry with Tofu. The sauce is delicious (adding their tableside Sweet & Sour is a game changer), the veggies are always fresh, tofu cooked to perfection, perfectly cooked rice and yummy egg roll!! I also very much love the salad that comes with the entrees as well. The peanut salad dressing is fabulous! The interior is beautiful and the restaurant is always immaculately clean. The service is also what makes Thailicious wonderful, every server we've had always has a smile and is very welcoming. They hustle here to take care of their customers and it shows! Drink refills never make it past the half way point and they are always checking on you to make sure things are going well, this attention doesn't go unnoticed and is very appreciated. I decided to try Thailicious for lunch today. Unfortunately, it was not worth the experience. I love Pad Thai, so I ordered that with chicken. They asked how spicy, and the options I was told was mild, medium, or hot. I love good spice, but knowing the Thai spice can sometimes be over the top I went for medium. When my dish arrived, I was very disappointed with how dry the chicken was and there was literally no flavor or spice to it. I barely ever send dishes back, but when the waiter came up and asked how it was, I told him that the chicken was to dry to even eat. He said they would remake it. Upon remaking it, the chicken was less dry, but still lacked flavor completely. There was no spice or flavor to the dish at all. I took a few bites, asked for a box, and planned to give to my dog as it was not worth even eating. Overall, the food was 0 stars if possible, but the server was trying really hard, so that gives them an extra star or two.
