I had a chance to try Coco S'more, which is located in an asian burrito spot place as of now. This spot is really simple with only 2 tables and has 2 options of marshmallow covered ice cream that you can get. The ambiance is cute but simple, and the service was pretty fast. The option with the strawberry ice cream was sold out so we got 1 torched marshmallow with vanilla ice cream and Oreo crumbs. This was good but very small for how much they charged. The marshmallow was soft on outside, but the ice cream inside was rock hard which did make it hard to eat. I think for the quality and quantity of the dessert, this should not be $10 & they should definitely offer more variety of flavors. Overall, nice to try though. read more

From the same shop that makes fan tuan rice burritos earlier in the day, Coco Smore serves cubed vanilla ice cream surrounded by torched (and also cubed) marshmallow. When I went, there were three flavors: vanilla, strawberry, and ube. Ube is a seasonal flavor at this time. Coco smore is essentially a cube of ice cream covered with a large marshmallow that they torch (brulee). You can add toppings like sprinkles, graham crackers, chocolate syrup, strawberry syrup, etc. It was good, but nothing mind blowing.. and certainly not for $10 a piece. The girls that were working were sweet. You order with an iPad (as with everything nowadays- you just see a screen instead of an actual person taking your order. They have two small tables inside. It was somewhat difficult to find where Coco Smore was because there's not a big sign and it was inside of a burrito store from what I can remember. It's basically just ice cream wrapped around with torched marshmallow fluff for $10, which is honestly really expensive. The worker there was nice though since she was able to get my dessert ready quick, but that's because I was the only person in the store during the time. There's also no music playing so it was really quiet inside, which made me feel awkward to be talking to my friend at a normal volume. Hmm was really intrigued to try this place and even waited until their new opening time later in the day to go. They only had two flavors to choose from which was vanilla and strawberry. You can pick toppings like strawberry or chocolate syrup which is just smuckers and Ghirardelli nothing home made, graham crackers and Oreos. They share a spot with rice burrito i guess which I seen confused people that walked in. Anyways, so the only cool thing I guess is them brûlée-ing your marshmallow to a smore. Overall as for taste, it just tasted burnt lol. I got vanilla and even the ice cream has no taste. Marshmallow wasn't gooey just melted pretty much and thin. The toppings I got were Oreo Ana graham crackers which just fell off to the side. Was missing something but definitely not the price they charge since they do charge extra for any toppings. Definitely should have read the reviews before coming here as I might have stayed away but the photos drew me in. Aesthetically the dessert is fun. Ice cream wrapped in marshmallow which is toasted and followed up with toppings sounds like a great idea, but these are way overpriced. It was over $9 just for the plain ice cream with the flavored marshmallow (two options - original or strawberry) and each topping was $.75 or $1. You can only fit so much topping on each treat as they aren't very large, so overall you are paying A LOT for a small dessert. I would expect a jumbo sized treat for $9 - these should be $5/$6 max. It was much too expensive for a small dessert that you eat with a tiny spork. And the gal putting the toppings on does it front of you which is nice to see them torch the marshmallow, but then when they bust out the strawberry smuckers squeeze bottle that you paid $1 up charge for, you really feel the racket. read more
