Ice scream s'mores on a stick
    Eva L.

Ice scream s'mores on a stick. It's a block of vanilla ice cream covered by marshmallow fluff. Strawberry ice cream was the other flavor. They torch the outside of the fluff and they drizzled chocolate syrup on top then sprinkled graham crackers on it. Kinda pricey for $10 ice cream with marshmallow. It looked cool when the guy was torching the marshmallow. Good smooth ice cream. Marshmallow is a little better than the one in the jar. It seems more dense but fluffy at the same time. Took about 10 min to get the food.

From the same shop that makes fan tuan rice burritos earlier in the day, Coco Smore serves cubed vanilla ice cream surrounded by torched (and also cubed) marshmallow. This dessert is not your traditional s'more with its unique shape and construction. It's fun to watch them blowtorch the marshmallow in front of you. I had tried the seasonal ube marshmallow but couldn't taste much ube flavor nor much of the powdered graham cracker or matcha toppings because the marshmallow dominated. I couldn't finish one because of how sickly sweet it was - this treat is perhaps better suited for kids. Personally, I'd rather go to Penny Ice Creamery where I can pick a more interesting ice cream flavor plus get that torched marshmallow topping and a cone for the same price, if not cheaper than $10.

It's located at the same place as Rice Burrito. They serve rice burritos for breakfast and lunch, and switch to ice cream in the afternoon and evening. They now have new strawberry and ube flavors, in addition to their classic original marshmallow flavor. You can also customize the toppings with options like Oreo, sprinkles, graham crackers, chocolate sauce, matcha powder, and more. It's a fun, sweet treat after dinner, and it's enjoyable watching the staff toast the marshmallow!

Very basic for what it's worth. I'm not sure how their business is doing since they open only a few days with four hours max. The day I went, they had two new flavors for their Halloween special: Ube & Strawberry. The actual ice cream is just your basic vanilla. I feel like they could switch up the ice cream flavors or have better quality ice cream. With the added toppings & the torched crème brûlée, it can get VERY sweet. Honestly, the store was SO empty. There was literally no one there. This would be a better idea if it was cater to summer since people are more likely to purchase it when it gets hot. However, I don't know if people will justify paying almost $10 for this.

3.5 STARS For the sweet tooth besties that let your camera eat first: Coco S'more is for you... Their signature item is inspired by the viral Korean Marshmallow Torched/Toasted Ice Cream. Staff torch it front of you while you film a reel/tiktok. Coco S'more is currently in soft opening mode with pre-paid rezzies. Great idea for crowd control since it's a small space. Open Friday - Sunday, 3 pm - 5 pm. Rezzies start at 3 pm and available every 30 minutes. S W E E T & S I P T A S T I NG Signature Toasted Marshmallow Ice Cream + Chocolate Milk Slushy: $12.25 ($13.31 after tax, no tip option). You get to bring one guest with you to share. * Toasted Marshmallow Ice Cream // 3.5 Stars: https://tinyurl.com/3t5faxnm A cube of vanilla ice cream is coated in their housemade marshmallow and torched in front of you. Topped with your choice of chocolate syrup, sprinkles, and/or crunched graham crackers. A trifecta of crackly crème brûlée crust with warm, gooey marshmallow and cold ice cream. Good contrast of textures and temperatures. Unfortunately, it was way too sweet. Between the two of us, we couldn't finish one (about the size of a highball ice cube). But, if you have a sweet tooth, you're good! * Chocolate Milk Slushy // 2 Stars Hella cute presentation, the slushy is served in a disposable parfait glass, crowned with toasted marshmallow and a graham cracker. However, I found the slushy watered down and artificial tasting so not my jam. S E R V I C E Friendly, upbeat staff. A M B I A N C E Compact, minimalist space shared with Xiaoman Riceburrito (same owner) that operates in the morning. Two tables for dine-in. P A R K I N G Easy parking in the plaza (between TP Tea and Chick & Tea). Overall, cute novelty dessert for your socials esp if you have a sweet tooth. A good place to bring your kiddos!

Came because of promising reviews but left disappointed :( There's only two items on the menu and the place is really small. It was somewhat difficult to find where Coco Smore was because there's not a big sign and it was inside of a burrito store from what I can remember. It's basically just ice cream wrapped around with torched marshmallow fluff for $10, which is honestly really expensive. The worker there was nice though since she was able to get my dessert ready quick, but that's because I was the only person in the store during the time. There's also no music playing so it was really quiet inside, which made me feel awkward to be talking to my friend at a normal volume. I wouldn't come here again unfortunately since I think there's other better places out there that will satisfy my sweet tooth craving, but it was a nice experience!

First time coming here. Yummy super fluffy crispy outside and melty inside. Will come back next time.

    Strawberry ice cream s'more

Saw this place online and was nearby so I decided to try it. Food(5/5): it is definitely a bit on the sweeter side but we tried the strawberry ice cream marshmallow and it was really good! I feel like this is a really good idea but it is a bit pricey for the size. I think it would be good if they lowered their price or allowed unlimited free topping. Even having their own pre made combinations would be a good idea. Service(5/5): Really friendly and got our smore ice cream pretty fast. Ambiance(4/5): it's pretty small inside and there's not much seating. It would be good if they get at least a few more chairs for seating.

What a fun experience! Make sure to get your reservations early before it's all booked up for this unique experience for ice cream s'mores. To be specific, a HUGE ice cream smores. They have a cute drink to start off your experienced followed by a live demo of them toasting your giant s'mores and then adding the toppings of your choice to it. It was super fun to watch them do it and then you and your friend can devour it right after. I kid you not when I said it is a HUGE s'mores haha but would I try this again, i would - I would also prepare myself for how sweet the outside coating will be too.

Cute little dessert place that shares a location with rice burrito. We were looking for a dessert tonight. Decides to try this place because how can you go wrong with toasted marshmallows and ice cream.

Crazy price for a tiny dessert

The place was situated in a quiet plaza just outside of Lawrence Expressway. There's ample parking but it doesn't feel like the location is suitable for a cafe where you can picture sitting inside looking through some big windows facing a busy pedestrian walkway. However, once I stepped inside, I was surprised at how zen and peaceful the decorations were and how fitting it was for a cozy and quiet cafe hangout. The cake shelf was surprisingly busy. And this is where I took one star out because the lines were confusing and the staff skipped me to talk to the group behind me while I was clearly the next to be helped. Luckily another staff member came out from the back kitchen and jumped in to help. The staff spoke fluent mandarin. I was interested in their box cakes. A few of the yelpers raved about their soy milk cake and luckily they had one out for sampling. It was covered with lots of cream and the cake layer was soft and moist, but it was still slightly too sweet for me and I felt that it lacked the tofu kind of soy flavor. Then, I spotted on their menu that they have a black sesame matcha box cake, and black sesame is always my favorite, so I asked for it. They had the last one left! The staff said she had never tried it so she couldn't tell me if it is less sweet than the soy milk cake. Since it was the last one available and I already sampled the soy cake, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The cake was filled with matcha mousse and tasted light and aromatic with the jasmine kind of matcha flavor. It is definitely less sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much black sesame as I'd like. But overall, the cake flavor is the kind that I like, subtle, moist, and not too sweet. $38 for a box cake of 4x4 is a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I gave it a try. The cakes were freshly made and tasted best the same day of purchase. They also recommend refrigerating the cake and consuming it within a day or two.

I kept seeing posts about whaT's More cake's persimmon cakes, so I decided to give them a try. I preordered the persimmon molten cake and the persimmon crepe cake through their website. The online ordering process was smooth, and both cakes were ready right on time for pickup. Unfortunately, the persimmon molten cake was disappointing. While I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet, it was very mild in flavor. It tasted more like a simple sponge cake with a persimmon filling in the center, and overall, it felt quite underwhelming. In contrast, the persimmon crepe cake was much better. Each layer had persimmon cream and jam, which gave it a stronger and more pronounced persimmon flavor without being overly sweet. Overall, it's a cute cake shop worth checking out if you're looking for unique flavors in the South Bay. Parking: Plenty of parking available in the lot.
