Only wish I had ordered a large LOL. 5/5 Taiyaki, though it is very different from the cakey Taiyaki from Japan that I've had - it actually is made with a flakey almost croissant like exterior. Loved the custard cream as well. Made to order. 5/5 Service - the people working there are all super friendly and nice!!! I'm so happy she gave such a good lunch recommendation for us to try as well. 3.5/5 Walnut Pastry - was a bit dry, much better when taken home and air fried, though. Just look at that taiyaki menu! I think I've found the holy grail! I just needed a place to quickly sit down from the hot sun. There's a tent right outside. It's got a sign just for customers. So I went inside to order something small. But then I saw the huge taiyaki menu I just had to try one. Biscoff taiyaki 5/5 There's so much more to try. Must come back for more! The sucky part of this place is that it closes early like 6/7pm. BUT if you get to buy some taiyaki buy a bunch! I ordered multiples of custard, apple, blueberry and cream, Nutella, even bacon,egg and cheese and it was 6pm (the BEC is amazing!). I also bought a rice one; too bland for me, but all the other flavors are amazing! Has to be the BEST taiyaki I've ever had! A regular taiyaki to me is like a stuffed waffle or pancake but their taiyaki is like a stuffed croissant topped with a layer of hardened caramelized sugar. Absolutely delicious! read more

Cute little place near the closter plaza (on the same street as Gongcha). Mango bingsu was great. Not just ice with syrup like other places. I wish they put more condensed milk with mango syrup though. We also got the croissant taiyaki in Nutella and red bean which were delicious. Very flakey like a croissant and fluffy inside. Prices were just a tad on the pricier side but otherwise, great dessert place. I recommend as a cute and casual date spot since there's also outdoor tables. read more

The boba is some if the best I have had yet! The drink I had (taro bubble tea) came over ice or blended with ice. Service was attentive and kindness was on the menu too :). Looking forward to going back when in Closter again. read more

I love this place. Their tayaki is fantastic. I've gotten it before and by the time I get home it's overcooked but that's not their fault. I only bring it up to say eat it soon and don't let it sit in the bag and overcook bc they make it fresh and give it to you super hot. They are known for their walnut pastries, and now after being there, their walnut everything. When I went I had the mochi taiyaki, which is a pancake cake with a filling of your choosing, in the shape of a fish. It was extremely fresh, and not overwhelmingly sweet. It did have some walnuts in the mochi part, which I didn't care for, but not because it was bad, just because I'm not a big fan of nuts. I wouldn't take a star away for that. The service is very good and I would recommend checking out this place, especially if you love walnuts. I really want to come again and try their boba teas. read more

This place is so cute and full of sweets! I'm a huge fan of anything filled with custard and bubble tea! We tried this place a couple weeks ago. The service was great and the food was even better! I ordered the Biscoff Taiyaki and an Oreo bubble tea. They made the taiyaki fresh so once I took a bite it was hot but WORTH IT. The Oreo bubble tea was perfect! The walnut pastries are bomb. Calorie bomb. They are loaded with calories and are probably terrible for your waistline, but they sure are sinfully delicious. They were a hit with my coworker. This is an oreo shaved ice and it tastes amazing!! It has chocolate covered stick crackers, mochi, crushed oreos, vanilla ice cream, and LOTS of chocolate syrup. They have other shaved ice flavors such as mango, green tea, taro, etc. They have croissant taiyakis which are shaped in a fish and my favorite is the bacon, egg, and cheese one. There is also coffee, teas(both hot and cold), and bubble tea! The bubble tea here is definitely better than the one at Tous Les Jours, and they have hot bubble teas too for the winter. In addition to all that, they are also known for their walnut pastries that come in bags and boxes, which can be gifted to family, friends, coworkers, etc. For the summer time, they have green tea and vanilla ice cream, and sparkling ade.
