This is top three bakery in USA. Seriously obsessed, it's small too small to sit and eat which makes me adore it even more. The pastries taste as if they were made right in Paris. This place is a mix of a Korean vibe with a Parisian taste going for it. I can eat every croissant they have available. They had plain croissant, ham and cheese croissants, chocolate croissants, not to mention all of the one of a kind different assortment of dessert pastries. The coffee barista is also a vibe, she really knows how to make a really good latte. She's my favorite, just cause she knows I'm picky and she still manages to make me the best espresso in Closter. My tummy smiles when I come here, always 10/10.

They have a small parking lot right next to the building, which was helpful. The bakery itself was small, mostly, just take out here. During our visit, many people came in here for their bread. A really good sign of their quality! We ordered Matcha Latte and Mocha. The Matcha had the REAL matcha flavor, no artificial flavor, which was great. It had just the right sweetness to it. Mocha was creamy and tasty, strong yet comforting flavor. We decided to have a breakfast right there. This was when we were still allowed to eat in, about a month ago. I ordered Ham & Egg Salad Croissant. My hubby also wanted this item, but it seems like they only offer what is out there on display. And since there was only one...well, I got it! I am not sure why they can't just make another one in the kitchen though... It was a really nice sandwich! My hubby ended up getting the Ham & Cheese Croissant. It had some crispy cheese crust on top, which was really Nice. The ham was fresh, and it had some kind of sauce or aioli inside, which was delightful! We also had Green Tea White Chocolate Scone. It was light and airy, tasty! We took a few extra items to go, so that we can have them later at home. We had Choux, which was filled at the time of order, Gouda Cheese Bread, Miso Bread, and some Brioches. They were all high quality, fresh, and very tasty. Passion Fruit Brioche and Blueberry Brioche were super fluffy, and filled with cream! Great item! We enjoyed every item we tried so far from here. We would definitely go back for more of their quality breads and baked goods for sure!

A cozy little bakery nestled in downtown Closter. There is a lot of competition when it comes to bakeries in the area, but la Tabatiere stands above the rest IMO. Their service is fantastic and everything they make is delicious, from the coffees to the buns to the pastries. You really can't go wrong with anything you get in there. Prices are undoubtedly on the high side, but you are paying for a level of quality that's above most other bakeries out there.

This place is always packed so I was super curious to try it out. However, it is just your typical coffee shop, nothing really special. The pastries do look great though! My coffee was 3.75 but there was just so much ice. Make sure to ask for light ice if you get a cold beverage! There is nice seating outside for instagramable photos :)

This place is out of place for closter NJ. The coffee and pastries draw a line in the suburbs of NY/NJ

This is my favorite loaf of bread in the area. I have never been there but somebody often brings us the bread and we love it.

There are cones, cups and waffles options available in three sizes. Prices are cheaper than some of the other ice cream parlors. Other than ice cream, they also serve some coffee based drinks. There's a standing table with some stalls and a small table inside the store. Rest of the seating space and tables are in front of the store, by W Madison ave. During our few visits, we tried the cotton candy and cookies & cream flavors. They were really creamy, no icy patches. Was excellent quality overall. The staff members were friendly each time, they quickly served the orders and did the checkout.

Madison Ave…read more Dumont, NJ 07628 Bourbon Pecan Cotton Candy Sal's Special Brownie Split Appearance: 9/10 Taste: 9/10 Conveniently located on Madison Avenue approximately one mile from the historic Camp Merritt Memorial Monument is a local ice cream shop. Owner Sal introduced me a couple of the most popular homemade ice cream flavors and one of his newly crafted signature desserts. Bourbon Pecan: Although the ice cream is made with artificial whiskey, it tastes identical to the real deal. Also mixed in this ice cream are swirls of caramel with pecan bits hidden beneath. Cotton Candy: Initially, I was hesitant to explore this flavor because I would never envision combining a carnival treat with a frozen dessert. As soon as I took my first taste, I instantly realized why this is a hit My only regret is that I didn't purchase an entire pint to go! And speaking of size, when you choose your desired flavor, pick one of the four proportions. Aside from cups, sugar cones, waffle cups or waffle cones are also an option. Sal's Special Brownie Split: If you are planning to explore beyond the ice cream itself, then you may want consider trying one of Sal's desserts that he created. In lieu of three traditional scoops, this specialty sundae has one scoop of brownie s'mores ice cream and two brownie squares; also included is whipped cream, caramel syrup, and a sliced banana. Combining brownie with banana surpassed my taste bud expectations by a long shot Now that you "have the scoop" check out Dumbo ice cream for a variety of homemade flavors. #dumboicecream #dumontnj #bourbonpecan #localbusiness #cottoncandyicecream #salsspecialbrowniesplit #njicecreamshop #icecream #homemadeicecream #madisonave
