Been needing a massage and cocolomi was able to squeeze in a couple's massage the next day which I really appreciated. They were very quick to respond to my inquiry even when I made it later in the day/early evening. They are located on the bottom floor of the building. They have a backdoor on kapiolani closest to sky, but I think the main door and the one you should go in is through the lobby which has an entrance on ke'eaumoku. We parked at ala Moana and just walked over. The massage experience was one of the better ones I've had. We went with a traditional lonilomi 60min massage. We had a nice private room for the two of us and the masseuse was attentive on checking for pressure every once in a while. They offered coconut oil and essential oils for an extra $10 if that is something you're interested in. My yelp bff says it might have been the best one she's had since she likes it firm but on the lighter side. They also did some stretching of my legs to loosen it up which was different and interesting. When you walk in the front desk and waiting area are very clean and well lit. The staff was very friendly as were the therapists. I think they were all Japanese, and the clientele exiting when we came in were all Japanese, but everyone was either local or had excellent English skills. Our therapists were Sayo and Masumi and they were both excellent. They were able to address our specific concerns and were able to figure out where we needed additional work without our even having to tell them. The receptionist and massage therapists were all very welcoming and friendly. We both got 90 minutes of Lomi Lomi and a foot massages. They asked us about problem areas to concentrate on and totally got out all of our aches in our back, shoulders, legs and feet. I called and didn't get an answer, however I got a call back within 15 minutes. They took me for a last minute appointment and they were only a ten minute Uber ride from the Waikiki beach area. When I got there so was impressed immediately by the location and business visuals right away. I live in the NYC area and I frequent 5-star spas regularly. This spa was among my top 3! They are super professional, kind, we'll versed in their profession and my Lomi-Lomi massage was AMAZING! First of all, thank you Cocolomi for accommodating me at the very last minute, day of appointment request. I've been dealing with pain in my back, leg, back... basically my whole body was overused from exercising and was hitting the turning point. Kiyomi was my therapist. And oh my goodness she was amazing! I started with 90 min Dry Massage but she convinced me to switch to Lomilomi after explaining how oil massage is beneficial and relaxing and can still get the same intensity of Dry Massage. I had Lomilomi once before but I was very skeptical. Her Lomilomi was nothing like what I remembered, but 100 times better. Kiyomi was very knowledgeable, she could detect my issues and gosh! she is a little lady with such strength! She kept the same intensity for whole 90 minutes. It's right across from Ala Moana, BOH and in the same building as JJ Bakery and Verizon. This place is highly recommended. I will highly recommend this place.
