We had a contract to install a channel down the middle of the apartment floor with piping drained…read moreinto a sump pump. Contact said concrete would be finished. Basically got a concrete footer with a troweled finish that was not even even or smooth. No clean up. Called and spoke with the owner who said we could finish it ourselves as all they do is a trowel finish. Now we had a flooring company come in who said they used the wrong concrete as well. Very disappointed.

But I was excited to hear they recently opened an Asheville branch too. So when it was time for our yearly maintenance, Jordan came out to take a look and clean the dehumidifier filter. He was responsive, flexible on day/time, and very respectful of our request to mask inside the house. I couldn't say enough positive things about him and the company in general. You know you chose wisely when they still treat you really well even after they've already won your business.

The salesperson identified the low spot in the house and wrote up a contract. The final result is that the low spot is still there and my front door will no longer open and close. They want to charge me $2000 more to fix the original low spot. The supervisor, Larry, is rude, he lies, and has no intention of resolving this issue. I thought maybe it was a mistake, as I could not understand, after comparing his quote with the other quotes, how his could be so much less for the same work??? I called maybe six of his 20 or more references and they all were very positive, and said they would use him again; some were business references and they said they use Foothills on a regular basis. I then called Brook and asked if he did veterans, law-enforcement, and or senior discounts, which he did give me an additional 2%. I booked them, they came out on time, Brook introduced me to his crew who were doing the work, and by the end of the day they were done. I was pleased, and my HVAC company, pest control company, engineer, and others who have since gone into my crawlspace, have said what a great job Foothills did. They returned earlier this year to do an annual inspection.

My basement has not had a leak since…read more I am very pleased with the work and system installed so much that I recommended it to 4 friends who got one installed as well. I was told that in order to keep my warranty I must have the system/sump pump inspected each year. For years 2018 through 2023 this was not a problem. However, this year has been a nightmare trying to get someone out to my house to do the inspection. I called in June for an August appointment. Each time it gets close to the date and time of the appointment, All Dry calls, cancels the appointment and reschedules giving a lame excuse. We are now into November, six cancelled appointments later and still no service call. What does a person have to do to get the service they were promised?

They came and went at random times without notice and without introducing themselves. They would be gone for days and I had to call to find out when they would be back to finish the job with no response. When they actually did show up to finish it was late in the afternoon and they didn't have the necessary materials so they had to leave and didn't return until after dark. I made the unfortunate choice to pay them without inspecting the work in daylight after they supposedly finished. They incorrectly installed a gutter and downspout and the seams on the new white gutter were smeared with brown silicone. The gutter itself wasn't long enough to catch the rain coming off of the roof, thereby defeating the purpose of installing a gutter system in the first place. Whereas they promised to come and correct the issues, they merely removed the silicone by scraping most of it off but again didn't have the necessary materials to extend the gutter to function correctly and finish the job. Water is still emptying into our yard at the base of the structure where it's not supposed to. Another drain they installed is emptying water that is now pooling into the middle of the yard. And even after Aaron confirmed several appointments to return and fix the problem, he was a no-show and didn't even bother to call or text. Not just once, but four times. This guy not only didn't show up FOUR TIMES after promising he would but HE DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO CALL OR TEXT that he wasn't coming. Aaron must think it's okay to waste your time when you're expecting him to show up at your house and he doesn't. That's what happens when you pay contractors before thoroughly inspecting their work. Lesson learned, $2500 later. DO NOT hire this company. They are unethical, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I trusted they would honor their promises and they didn't.
