If I could give zero, I would. We recently made a purchase, and I must express my disappointment with the experience. While the appliance itself has proven to be satisfactory, the overall service left much to be desired. Initially, the sales person suggested that I order an additional accessory (hundreds of dollars!!) assuring me that it could be returned if it turned out to be unnecessary. This promise influenced my decision, as I felt reassured/pressured about the purchase. However, when I realized I didn't need the extra item, I attempted to return it only to find out that the return policy was not flexible as I had been led to believe. The sales person was standing outside when we drove up, we took out our box and didn't even go into the store when he denied us. I was met with such resistance. This experience not only left me frustrated but also feeling misled by the company's promises. I would recommend exercising caution when dealing with Cocoplum, especially regarding their return policies. While the appliances they sell might be of good quality, the customer service aspect has a significant room for improvement. I hope my experience serves as a cautionary tale for future buyers. We recently had to purchase a new fridge as well (after Cocoplum purchase), we avoided this company at all cost and purchased through Lowe's Go to Home Depot or Lowe's that WILL accept your return! read more

The worst appliance purchasing experience I have ever had! Stay away! I bought a top of the line Fisher Paykel dishwasher ($2300) which I had at two previous houses in another state. The dishwasher is great but the installation and experience with Cocoplum was horrible. The installers did not know what they were doing at all and installed it completely off center and bent the brackets. Then when I arranged for them to come back to fix it - they set up a date - I made arrangements with work to be home and they never showed up! read more

we just did a major remodel of our kitchen and bought a wolf range, a wolf wall oven, a cove dishwasher and a sub zero fridge. These were not inexpensive appliances and they charge in advance a pretty penny for installation. when they showed up initially to install, they "forgot" the stove as it was coming from a different location. They instead made sure that day everything was ready for installation. Two days later they showed up with everything and installed. However the stove was not installed flush against the wall. They claimed that they could not do this and that we needed to have our propane company come and move things around to install it flush and that they were not legally permitted to do so. What a crock that turned out to be. We hired our plumber who had to pull out the stove, redo the connection and charged us $600 plus to do this leaving us to wonder what the purpose of inspecting the set up the first day and why they didn't tell us about the before they installed it knowing it would have to be pulled out. We are out $600 plus and in our view they owe us at least that amount. We spent nearly 40k with them and don't feel they were honest and/or competent. read more

I have slowly replace all of my appliances in the kitchen from Cocoplum (Sub zero refrig, 2 miele dishwashers, a wine refrigerator, and an AGA stove). My most recent purchase was an AGA induction stove. I now have 2 handles broken - one opens one of the ovens. I called Cocoplum and the service department told me to call AGA. essentially, Not my problem that your stove has broken handles. This appliance is not even 2 years old. This is the best case of very bad customer service. Going to find out who owns the business and see if they have anything to say. read more

A number of years ago, Cocoplum outfitted our kitchen with all new appliances We had a great experience. So, when I needed a new washer, I called Cocoplum last October. I did not want to go in to the store in person due to COVID. I spoke to the salesman and explained the type of laundry I do. He told me I should by the Speed Queen washer. The washer came and since it's instillation I have had on going issues with the laundry coming out dirty. The repair people have come 5 times and it still does not wash well. I spoke with the manager at Cocoplum and he said because of the type of laundry I was doing that I had voided any sort of guarantee. However, I was told to buy this particular washer and was very clear about the use. I am extremely disappointed and have spent a great deal of time and effort trying to get this sorted out. I will no longer use Cocoplum for my appliances. read more

Our old dishwasher bit the dust a few months prior to our total kitchen renovation. Bad timing, but the salesperson sold me a top of the line Miele Dishwasher ($2,400) that could be delivered within a week or so. Paid the $200 delivery and Installation. Delivery people brought the dishwasher in, only to tell me that I didn't have the right electrical outlet, What??? The sales person never asked me about my electrical outlet, how was I supposed to know? The Delivery people left the dishwasher in our garage. Then, we paid a carpenter and an electrician to install the dishwasher, at our own expense. Called Coco Plum to ask for a partial refund, never got a call back. Dishwasher worked for a couple of years. Then it started having problems. Can't get it serviced by Cocoplum so we paid an appliance repair company to come out 6 times to solve the problem. Finally, we have had enough so, we call Cocoplum about the 5 year warranty. Well, turns out we didn't buy the Extended Warranty- as far as we know the salesperson never mentioned needing to buy a warranty. We are now in the market for a new dishwasher and ARE DEFINITELY NOT GOING TO BUY IT FROM COCOPLUM in ESSEX JCT.,VT. Such disappointing salesmanship, customer service !! Really horrible experience. Please be aware that their delivery men DO NOT install the appliances that you have purchased. So if you will have a gas range delivered by them, be sure to have a gas technician at your home waiting for them to arrive. If you will have a dishwasher delivered by them, be sure to have a plumber at your home waiting for them to arrive. Unfortunately, this instruction was not given to us (we were told on the phone that the homeowner would be walked through how to install a gas range only to be told by the delivery men upon arrival that they would never advise a homeowner does the installation themselves and that they do not even know how to do the installation & would therefore not be able to walk anyone else through it). Moreover, we were informed 45 minutes before their arrival that they would be here so we certainly did not have time to reach out to a professional to ask for them to be present. However, if you happen to be a plumber and/or gas technician who is seeking new appliances and would like to do the installation in your own home, I imagine this is the right company for you. Worst experience ever - and have heard from friends that they also had an awful experience - and will certainly never be purchasing from them again. read more

During my first visit, I was fortunate to work with Jon, an encyclopedia of appliance knowledge and extremely helpful when it came to comparing similar appliances. He gave me plenty of time to think and I never felt pressured. 2. Cocoplum's prices are very competitive -- and downright reasonable considering the excellent personal service. 3. Unfortunately our new stove had an irritating problem. What could have been a nightmare of trying to get the issue resolved was easy at Cocoplum. I got 100% attention, and the store manager, Sloan, worked through the problem with the manufacturer until it was resolved. We worked with Cocoplum to outfit our entire kitchen with Kitchen Aid Appliances. Norm was extremely helpful finding us the best price within our budget, he even found a sale and called us to tell us if we wanted to wait a week we could get a better price. A bit of a snafu on delivery, but didn't seem to be Cocoplum's fault. The installers, Kyle, Jacob and Chris were AWESOME. So professional! They did an excellent job and even helped troubleshoot getting our refrigerator into a space that ultimately seemed too small. (I had done the measurement, not them) They worked with confidence and did not waste time. Really great guys! read more

I have worked with Cocoplum over the past 2 years both at my own locally owned, family business and to outfit my home with amazing appliances. Not only have they supplied me with top notch appliances from Kitchenaid, Wolf, viking, Miele and Capital; they are so knowledgeable about all the products. They can always answer all my questions and respond to all my phone calls and emails same day! When I recently sold my house and moved to a new home I could not part with my beloved Capital stove. The guys from Cocoplum got me a great deal on a new stove to replace the one I was taking with me. Then they came out to my house and re-jetted my Capital for propane. Working with Sloane and Norm is a pleasure. The best part about working with Cocoplum is that they really CARE. They always remember me and every time we work together I feel totally taken care of. You cannot get that from any of the "big guys." I feel like they would go to the end of the earth to get me what I need. AND they always offer me the best price. Buyer Beware!! Do not buy your appliance at Cocoplum. Despite the large sum of money you plunk down, they do not service their products. On hearing that the oven of 12-year-old $6,000 KitchenAid stove had died and our repairman couldn't fix it, the manager told me that we obviously had "a lemon" (his words) and said that the company was no longer any good. When asked what he would do for us since we'd bought our KitchenAid range, dishwasher, and refrigerator from him, he suggested we go to his competitor Bouchard Pierce in Essex. Bouchard does service their products and stand behind them. Avoid both CocoPlum and KitchenAid! It was an expensive lesson for us. Rux M. read more
