Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is located behind the building. It's a small lot, but parking shouldn't be an issue because this place doesn't get full quickly. Instructors are exceptionally knowledgeable & forthcoming with educational information, engaging & ensures questions are answered. Highly recommended this business run by a retired nurse educator & her sons (since 1984). Students (us) are each given time to demonstrate hands on CPR using dummies & also using an AED. In all the years that I've recertified, I've not encountered an instructor like Lea, so energetic & passionate about teaching. She's additionally given many FYI's & fascinating tidbits of real-life situations to incorporate into the lessons. We watched videos to enhance our refresher course. Joey was our BLS instructor (Lea's son), he is also an excellent teacher. This was a referral from one of my co-workers & I'm glad I chose them over my over instructors in Whittier. The communication was through emails & they even texted the students the day before to remind about this upcoming class. It's on the 2nd floor & this building has a designated free parking. The process to book with SureFire to begin with is so simple! I needed a last minute BLS course for work and I was able to make a last minute booking! I showed up to class and Swish(Samantha) and Katie were my instructors and they were AMAZING! They made class both FUN but still very professional. I learned a lot but still had some laughs. After you finish your course you receive your certificate the next day which comes in handy especially if like myself you needed to renew ASAP. I really think it's important that people take this, cause you'll never know when someone is gonna be in need, and you can be that person that saves someone's life. The class cost about $100 and I felt accomplished after taking the course. CPR is harder than it looks, and I'm sure if the time ever came where I needed to perform it, it would be nerve wracking.

I give this place a 4 because and the only reason why I took away a star is because they told me the class was going to start feb 23rd, they pushed it back a week, and they gave us the wrong calendar and not the updated part of the calendar! This is the only reason why I give it a 4 and not a 5 I love how they have sections they have the hands on part to build a house, they have another section to teach you math, and the final part of life skills such as making a resume and mock interviews. They also have us go out to habit for humanity to get hands on experience work site which I appreciate and making great networking opportunities! It's the light skin dragon blasting off into the area which is foreign to me and gaining info to use before the AI or robots take over the planet.

Without a doubt, this was one of the most challenging experiences for me in academia, and I have an advanced degree in Biology. So, whatever you do, do not take this program lightly. The material covered is very comprehensive, with certain aspects mirroring year one of medical school. Given the duration of the program, there will unquestionably be times when you're overcome by the sheer volume of material covered in such a short time frame. Whatever you do, **don't get discouraged.** Stay the course. Rest assured, the staff at RCI are there to support you as best as they can. Because your success is a direct reflection of them-- their ability to ensure you are well prepared for the board exam and will make a positive contribution to the medical community at large. You see, everyone has a common goal here. The goal is for you to succeed. Outstanding experience overall. But again, this is far from easy. While the role is that of technician, this is not an "on the surface" academic program. The demand is great, and the bar is high. Although, you've been given somewhat of a head start seeing as the support system at RCI is stellar. The instructors and laboratory training are top tier.
