All of the instructors he's had classes with over the years have been WONDERFUL! For the class with very young children, a parent participates in the class with their child. I LOVED doing this with my son. It was so fun, and I loved seeing him happy as he practiced new skills and refined his gross motor skills. He's currently enjoying "Ninja Training" class, which he thinks is a cool name. The kids do a warm up and then practice 2 different ninja obstacle courses led by 2 instructors, with play time and other activities throughout the class. Since the class is for kids around 1st grade, the parent's sit on the benches and get to watch. We had my son's 5th birthday party at MyGym, and it was so perfect! The instructors put together a party plan that included a lot of my son's favorite activities there, including playing "floor is lava" to the music of Super Mario video games, & riding on the zip line! All the kids had a great time! We highly recommend having a birthday here for kids! Give My Gym a try with your kid(s). It's such a fun and safe environment for them to learn how to move and test their limits!

The biggest downside for me was unfortunately not the place itself, but some of the parenting. A lot of parents seemed to use the time to relax and stay glued to their phones while their kids ran into other children, grabbed toys from them, or just caused chaos without anyone stepping in. I also wasn't impressed with the staff. In my experience, they came across as pretty unfriendly and didn't really interact with the kids at all. For a place centered around children, I expected the staff to be a little more welcoming, engaged, and involved. I like the concept and the play areas, but I found myself having to correct other kids because their parents weren't paying attention. With more attentive parenting and a friendlier, more engaged staff, this could easily be a much better experience.

This trampoline park is…read morebigger, with a big obstacle course for older kids and a dedicated toddler part that's got a climbing area. And way less arcade games at the front. When we pay to go play at the trampoline park, I don't want my kids to get distracted by all the blinking arcade games. So I prefer this one over the one in Miramar. We came for a birthday party and the host reserved a dedicated room for the party. That was nice to have our own space. This place is popular for birthday parties because that same day, there were at least five other birthday parties and they have multiple parties at the second floor open space. It felt a little messy for the parties at the open space outside of the room. How do you know which table is for which party?

When we arrived, there was a sign saying parents could jump for $6.99 if tickets were purchased there, which was already frustrating. The second we walked in, the heat hit us like a brick. An employee told us that part of their air conditioning was not working. It was around 90 degrees outside, and it genuinely felt cooler outside than it did inside the building. We were sweating just sitting down. We tried to stay optimistic and headed toward the trampolines, but it was so crowded that it was nearly impossible to jump. There were maybe 10 small benches for approximately 50 parents. Where was everyone supposed to sit? I asked whether a manager was available and explained the situation to the employees at the front. They were understanding, took my phone number and said a manager would call me. No one ever did. I also emailed corporate and received no response. We stayed for less than 20 minutes despite paying for two hours for our child and one hour for both adults. Between the broken air conditioning, extreme heat, overcrowding, lack of seating, pricing difference and complete lack of follow-up, this was a terrible experience. Don't waste your time or money at this location.

I really liked how the rec center provided 4 nets & all these pickleballs! This is the first time I've seen a rec center provide SO MANY balls. I really liked that the court outlines were clear and one singular color. It makes it way less confusing. I also liked that there's plenty of room for running/getting between baselines and the benches. Also loved that they used benches instead of bleachers. NO MORE PAINFUL clawing under bleachers/peoples' feets for smashed balls that rolled underneath. The wait gets pretty long here (prob 25-30min/game and you only get to play up to 8 when there is a crowd. Winners stay and can play up to 2 games (they split off in the second game). I like this system, as it balances out the skill set. Everyone faithfully honored this system, and would get out after their 2 games.

I felt like she really has a high regard and respect for her craft and it really shows in the work that she out puts.
