We proudly display many of their art pieces and even send some to grandparents to enjoy. It's a cute little family owned branch located in the same plaza at Bad Ass Coffee/ Pitchers Sports Bar in Rancho Penasquitos. Ms. Alicia is the Principal/ Branch Owner. She exercises strong communication, is very approachable and kind, and coordinates great lessons (so there's new activities throughout the week). I also appreciate that she has a team of assistants to coordinate each class and to ensure the kids are supported. Most of all, she creates wonderful memories during the moments the kids are out of school (saving the sanity of parents balancing work). We tried Tutoring Club for our son, thinking it might be a lower cost alternative to Elite Prep. We prepaid $5,600 in tutoring fees in Sept, based on a promise written in our contract that they would refund if we didn't like it. My son felt the quality of instruction was rudimentary compared to Elite Prep, so we cancelled almost immediately. The owner acknowledged that we were due a refund at the time. It is now Jan, 4 months later, and they still have not processed the promised refund. Maybe they are a struggling business and just don't have the funds. Or maybe they are so disorganized they can't get their act together. Or maybe they engage in deceitful business practices. Whatever the case, there is no explanation that makes this the kind of place you want to trust for your children's academic success.

We were originally looking into enrolling our 5 yr old into Kumon who needs a little help in learning how to read. We decided to NOT go to Kumon because our family schedule couldn't support the assignments and the thought that teachers might be rotating will not work for my little learner. Rite Click recently introduced a Kinder Ready program, which essentially prepares the child for Kindergarten. My daughter is NOT behind academically but has been expressive in wanting to learn how to read. I spoke with Vasanthy and shared our goals and schedule restrictions, and she was very flexible with our needs. It is so nice that a business is very understanding because it is already difficult balancing 10 million schedules at once. One of my favorite services they provide is during pick up, they make sure that the teacher/tutor shares what the child worked on with the parent. Ms. Annabelle is nothing but amazing! She has the patience and passion in what she's doing. When Ms. Annabelle first met with my daughter, she was trying to warm her up but not too pushy nor disregarding her presence. She knew right away how to handle a newbie! Next thing you know, my daughter is all over Ms. Annabelle "with the purple hair" as my daughter amusingly calls her. One of the worksheet they worked on is practicing writing numbers, letters, and straight line. It might sound simple and those sheets are definitely available elsewhere. However, what my daughter is getting is the undivided attention that she is yearning for and a very patient guidance we all appreciate.
